Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her, Phil 1:6. Thank You in advance for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, let her come to her senses as the prodigal who in Luke 15:17-19 admitting sinning against GOD and man, being humble and willing to take on a place of a servant, demonstrating repentance unto life, 2 Cor 7:9-11, knowing I'd be like the Prodigal's Father, and have compassion, Luke 15:20, to demonstrate Your perfect patience, 1 Tim 1:15-16, if she is truly repentant and is truly born again, being forbidden to be unequally yoked, 2 Cor 6:14, as the law says, Deut 22:10, and even need a similar vision, Amos 3:3, as she had promised to support your calling as an evangelist, missionary, but ran from all advice, did the opposite and ran from all counsellors with any type of backbone, nevertheless if You make her holy, I will not call her unclean, Acts 10:15 is important and inspired, as all of Scripture, 2 Tim 3:16, being Peter's testimony to first call Gentiles, Acts 15:7...

Nevertheless, such patience we regard as kindness intended to lead us to repentance from sin, Rom 2:4, since You are not willing that any should perish, but rather all would come to repentance, 2 Peter 3:9, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her, her family, church, church friends, relatives, even strangers and donkeys if need be, 2 Peter 2:16, and kindly get her pastors and other pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, even put fear of God and the trembling at Your words into them, Isaiah 66:2-3, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

We've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for five indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not to our knowledge, however we know You are working, thank You for what You're doing, and certain it's to bring about a hope and a future, Jer 29:11... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and "so others be fearful of sinning," 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with love, reverence for You and Covenant, and zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Also let it be done with gentleness, keeping an eye on ourselves, lest we be tempted, Gal 6:1. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and grace for her to finally confess adultery, Ex 20:14, [as yet it has only been hinted at without confession], and may God grant ever-increasing clarity, more certain wisdom, James 1:5, that we may be filled with the knowledge of His will with all spiritual wisdom and understanding so we may walk worthy of The Lord, Col 1:9-10, so we may stand perfectly assured in all the will of God, Col 4:12. May our Love abound more and more with all knowledge and discernment so we may choose the most excellent paths, not stumble, be offended or cause offense to others, be blameless without reproach unto the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness, to the glory and praise of God, Phil 1:9-11, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she, I, the youngster and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, 1 Cor 15:34, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, Matt 6:13, John 17:15...

Praying again for repentance 2 Peter 3:9, Luke 24:37 -- That she will not only avoid physical consequences, or be deceived that she's in a place of safety, God not being mocked, Gal 6:7, but MOSTLY she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- proving repentance by her deeds, Acts 26:20. Her one sister with a slight inclination toward godliness needs repentance, salvation and church attendance, renewing of the mind according to God's will, and some of her family and even pastors that do attend church need open rebuke, Lev 19:17, Prov 27:5-6, Ezk 33:8-9, Matt 18:15-17, Tit 1:13, James 5:19-20... They (we) ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, the beginning of wisdom, Prov 9:10, and freedom from deception, Matt 24:4, by Christ Jesus who becomes for us immediate Wisdom from God, righteousness by faith, and real, practical holiness...

By no means have I attained anything, but was myself offered forgivness for my sins and repented of them (me being similar to a chief of sinners, 1 Tim 1:15, to whom much is given, much is required, Luke 12:48), and as long as we dwell in temples made of clay, 2 Cor 5:1-2, this side of eternity, we must take heed lest we fall, 1 Cor 10:12, and only stand by Your grace, if we continue in Your kindness, Rom 11:20, and since only You are able to keep us from stumbling, Jude 1:24, and You are able to make us stand, Rom 14:4, and until we become "spirits of the righteous made perfect," Heb 12:23, when we are with You in Paradise, Luke 23:43, for to be absent from the body and be present with The Lord, which is far better, 2 Cor 5:8, Phil 1:23)...

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, Titus 3:14, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10, Grace to Meet Pressing Needs, to Fulfill Duties, Tit 3:14. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We join you in bringing this burden before the throne of grace and we thank you for sharing this deep and prayerful intercession with us in Jesus' name. We hear your heart for church and family to intervene according to Matthew 18:16-17, for the Holy Spirit to convict according to John 16:8, for the Lord to hedge her way with thorns according to Hosea 2:6, for clarity and protection from evil men according to 2 Timothy 3:5, and for inner healing according to Isaiah 1:6 and Psalm 23:3, and we stand with you for her to stop sinning and to grow in the knowledge of God.

We are encouraged by your desire to see true biblical repentance and not merely the avoidance of consequences. Scripture warns us that God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap in Galatians 6:7, and that we must not turn the grace of our God into a license for immorality and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ as written in Jude 1:4. You are right to pray that she would bear fruit worthy of repentance in Matthew 3:8 and prove repentance by her deeds in Acts 26:20, and that she would repent and turn, so that sins may be blotted out and times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord in Acts 3:19.

We must lovingly address what you have hinted at, that there has been adultery and the pursuit of others through online dating. The Lord is clear that you shall not commit adultery in Exodus 20:14 and that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart in Matthew 5:28. If this woman is married, this is adultery before God, and if she is unmarried, to pursue sexual or romantic intimacy outside of marriage is fornication, which God calls sin. We also affirm what you have prayed regarding being unequally yoked in 2 Corinthians 6:14 and that a man and a woman must not be yoked together unequally as with an ox and donkey in Deuteronomy 22:10. We believe marriage is a lifelong covenant between one man and one woman, and any courtship must be with the goal of a godly marriage to another born again believer, not simply a partnership or dating relationship for companionship or passion. The promise to support a calling as an evangelist and missionary cannot be fulfilled while running from godly counsel and pursuing lovers, for can two walk together, unless they have agreed in Amos 3:3.

We agree with you for a hedge of thorns in Hosea 2:6-7, that the Lord would block her path toward sin so that she cannot overtake her lovers and would be compelled to return and say she will go back to her first husband, or in this case to the Lord Himself first and then to a right ordering of relationships under Him. We pray with you that she would come to her senses as the prodigal did in Luke 15:17-19, confessing I have sinned against heaven and before you, with humility and a willingness to take the place of a servant, showing godly sorrow that works repentance to salvation in 2 Corinthians 7:10. We also hold to your hope in Philippians 1:6 that He who began a good work in her will perfect it until the day of Jesus Christ, if indeed she is His.

We join you in praying for the church and family to obey the call to loving confrontation. Scripture says you shall not hate your brother in your heart, you shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him in Leviticus 19:17, and that open rebuke is better than hidden love and faithful are the wounds of a friend in Proverbs 27:5-6. When sin is not confronted, the watchman is held accountable in Ezekiel 33:8-9, and we are to tell him his fault between you and him, then take one or two more, then tell the assembly in Matthew 18:15-17. We pray that pastors and family would fear God rather than man, for the fear of man proves to be a snare in Proverbs 29:25, and that they would tremble at His word as those described in Isaiah 66:2. We remember the warning to Eli who honored his sons above the Lord in 1 Samuel 2:29 and did not restrain them in 1 Samuel 3:13, and how the Lord fulfilled His word in 1 Samuel 4:17-18, and we ask that no pastor or parent in this situation would repeat that error but would speak the truth in love.

We thank God with you for those five who have indicated willingness to bring the Word, which is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword in Hebrews 4:12, and we pray they will not be negligent but will fulfill what they promised with zeal, for cursed is he who does the work of the Lord negligently in Jeremiah 48:10, and that they will carry it out as you asked, gently and firmly, restoring such a one in a spirit of gentleness, looking to yourself so that you also are not tempted in Galatians 6:1, so that she will not merely stop attending church but will flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart in 2 Timothy 2:22. We pray they will be used so that she may escape the snare of the devil, having been taken captive to do his will in 2 Timothy 2:26, and that those who sin would be reproved in the sight of all, that the rest also may be in fear in 1 Timothy 5:20.

We pray also for clarity and wisdom for you and for her, for if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him in James 1:5, and that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthily of the Lord in Colossians 1:9-10, and that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and all discernment, that you may approve the things that are excellent in Philippians 1:9-10. We pray the Lord will grant inner healing, for from the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it, wounds and bruises and fresh bruises in Isaiah 1:6, and we ask that He would restore your soul and lead you in paths of righteousness for His name's sake in Psalm 23:3. We pray for protection for you, for her, for the youngster you mentioned, and for all involved, that we would be delivered from temptation in Luke 11:4 and delivered from evil and the evil one in Matthew 6:13 and John 17:15, and that we would avoid evil men and impostors who will proceed from bad to worse in 2 Timothy 3:13, having a form of godliness but denying its power, and from such we are to turn away in 2 Timothy 3:5.

We lift up her sister and family and even pastors who need repentance and the renewing of the mind, that they would all learn that the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom in Proverbs 9:10 and that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil in Proverbs 8:13 and Job 28:28, and that they would not be deceived, for many will come in His name and lead many astray in Matthew 24:4. We pray they would not remain in knowledge that puffs up in 1 Corinthians 8:1 but would grow in the true knowledge of God that humbles and makes holy.

We affirm your own humility in acknowledging that you have not attained and that you also stand only by grace, for all have sinned, and you rightly cite that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom you are chief in 1 Timothy 1:15, and that we must take heed lest we fall in 1 Corinthians 10:12, for it is God who is able to keep us from stumbling in Jude 1:24 and who is able to make us stand in Romans 14:4. We pray for grace to fast according to Isaiah 58:6-12, for strength to fulfill duties in Titus 3:14, and for grace to proceed according to His will in Matthew 6:10.

We pray together now, Father, we thank You that You are not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance in 2 Peter 3:9, and that Your kindness is intended to lead us to repentance in Romans 2:4. We ask in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved in Acts 4:12 and no other way to the Father except through Him who said I am the way, the truth, and the life in John 14:6, that You would convict her heart by Your Holy Spirit, hedge her way with thorns so she cannot find her lovers, grant godly sorrow and true repentance, and cause her to confess and forsake her sin. Raise up faithful shepherds and family members who will speak Your Word without fear of man, with truth and love, that she may be healed and restored. Grant to our brother increased wisdom, clarity, inner healing, protection from all deception and evil, and strength to continue in prayer and fasting and to wait on You with hope, believing You will do what is right and merciful. If it be Your will and she becomes truly holy and born again, make the path clear for a marriage that honors You, for we know You make clean what You have cleansed in Acts 10:15, yet we ask that no unequally yoked union would be formed. Until then, keep him pure, steadfast, and abounding in love with discernment, looking to Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith. We ask this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Master, amen.

We have read your long and faithful prayer and we hear how much you have carried for her, for your family, and for your own heart. To keep praying for conviction, for protection from further harm, and for the church to step in with love and truth is a heavy burden to hold over time, and we want to stand with you in it.

One thing that has helped others in a season like this is to remember that real restoration, when God brings it, is not just stopping a behavior but a shared turning toward Him with honesty and trust being rebuilt by both people over time. You cannot make that happen for someone else, even with many good people willing to help. What you can do is stay faithful in your own walk, stay under the care of your church, and let a couple of trusted pastors who know you both carry the intervention part so you are not holding it alone.

It might help to keep meeting regularly with one pastor you trust for your own wisdom, clarity and healing while you wait, and to stay rooted in worship and fellowship even when it is painful.

Father, we bring this woman before You and ask for Your mercy to lead her to see clearly and to turn to You. We bring our brother before You and ask for wisdom, strength for daily duties, healing in his heart, and protection from temptation and deception for all involved. Give his pastors courage and gentleness to speak truth in love, and give him peace as he trusts Your will. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been laid before the Lord with many tears and much pleading of Scripture, and it is good that you continue instant in prayer as our Lord taught that men ought always to pray and not to faint.

We join you in asking the Lord to set a hedge of thorns about this dear one, as it is written, that she may not overtake her lovers. You have prayed Hosea 2:6 rightly. The way of the slothful is as a hedge of thorns, but the way of the righteous is made plain. When the Lord hedges a way with thorns it is not cruelty but mercy, to block the road that leads away from Him and from covenant faithfulness, that the soul may be turned back and find the plain path of righteousness. We ask Him to make every avenue of adultery and impurity, whether by online snare or by lustful look which our Lord calls adultery in the heart, to become painful and impassable, thorns in the getting and thorns in the keeping, until she is wearied of sin and seeks the Lord. As thorns and thistles came by the fall, yet Christ wore thorns for His crown, so He is able to consecrate even this hedge to her salvation.

With you we pray for true repentance unto life. There is a repentance that is not better than the vomit of a dog, which comes of the flesh and gives no glory to God, and there is a repentance which is the work of the Spirit and washes the Redeemer's feet with tears. No repentance is true but that which consorts with faith, and no faith is true but that which is linked with hearty sorrow for past sin. We do not ask for a mere fear of consequences, nor for a shallow regret that soon fades, but for that godly sorrow which worketh repentance that need not be repented of, which confesses sin honestly, for He will have truth in the inward parts and has no fellowship with misrepresentation. May she come to herself as the prodigal did, and say I have sinned against heaven and before thee, and may she find the Father's eyes quicker than her own, for the eyes of mercy are quicker than the eyes of repentance, and He will run to embrace the returning sinner with many kisses, with robe and ring and shoes, and give her to eat children's bread in the Father's house.

We also pray for the faithful carrying out of Matthew 18:15-17. It is a solemn and loving ordinance that when one is taken in a fault, others go with the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God, gently but firmly, lest souls be left in the snare of the devil. We ask the Lord to raise up pastors and family and friends who will fear God rather than man, for the fear of man bringeth a snare, and who will speak with love and reverence for covenant, not with negligence, keeping an eye upon themselves lest they also be tempted, restoring such a one in the spirit of meekness. May the word be brought with all longsuffering, that she may flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart, and that others also may fear to sin. We pray that the Holy Spirit will convict of sin and of righteousness and of judgment, for apart from His piercing work no heart is truly broken.

And we pray for you who waits and intercedes. You have confessed yourself a chief of sinners to whom much grace has been given, and that is right, for we only stand by grace, and must take heed lest we fall. We ask for you wisdom and clarity, that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, to walk worthy of the Lord, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and discernment, choosing the most excellent things and being without offence till the day of Christ. We ask for inner healing where the wounds are as from the sole of the foot even unto the head, and for the Shepherd's restoring of the soul beside still waters, and for daily strength for duties, and grace to be kept from temptation and from the evil one, and from evil men and impostors who have a form of godliness but deny the power thereof. May you be kept from deception, and may Christ be made unto you wisdom and righteousness and sanctification, for the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom and to depart from evil is understanding.

We do not ask God to bless any way that departs from His holy law of marriage, which is the lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, nor to prosper any union formed in disobedience, for God is not mocked, and what is sown must be reaped, and to use grace as license is to deny our only Lord and Master. We ask instead that He will grant repentance and faith, that she may bear fruits meet for repentance and prove it by her deeds, that she may be made holy and walk in the light, and know the cleansing of the blood of Jesus Christ, and that should the Lord in mercy restore, it may be only upon a true new birth and a shared vision to walk together in the Lord, not being unequally yoked, but walking as two who are agreed.

Father, grant this hedge of thorns, this gracious conviction, this gentle and firm intervention of Thy church, this true repentance unto life through faith in Jesus Christ alone, and this healing and wisdom for all concerned, to the glory of Thy name. May it be done not for our will but for Thine, and may Thou be pleased to give a hope and a future to those who turn to Thee with their whole heart, in Jesus' name, Amen.
