Your request has been brought before the Lord with care, and we join you in thanking Him for the grace to keep praying and for the confidence that He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it as in Philippians 1:6.
We agree with you in asking God to do His own work of conviction according to John 16:8, for only the Holy Spirit can open eyes to sin and to righteousness and to judgment. We ask Him to hedge the way with thorns as in Hosea 2:6 to 7, so that the path that leads away from Him becomes hard and unsatisfying, and the heart is turned to consider where true life is found. We ask for clarity of mind, for a hatred of evil as Proverbs 8:13 teaches, for the fear of the Lord which is the beginning of wisdom as in Proverbs 9:10, and for a true knowledge of God that humbles rather than puffs up as in 1 Corinthians 8:1.
We pray also for inner healing. As Isaiah 1:6 describes wounds that need binding up, and as Psalm 23 shows the Shepherd who restores the soul and leads in paths of righteousness, we ask the Lord to heal what is broken within and to lead her beside still waters into wholeness through Christ alone, for salvation is through Jesus Christ alone.
We hear your desire for the church and family to intervene according to Matthew 18:16 to 17. That pattern is given for good, that sin may not be left to grow in darkness but be addressed in love and truth. As the church is like a household, those who lead must rule well and care for souls with gravity and gentleness, and all of us must seek the common good and not our own honor. We pray God will raise up pastors and friends who fear God more than man, who tremble at His word as in Isaiah 66:2, who are not ensnared by the fear of man as in Proverbs 29:25, and who will speak the word faithfully as the sword of the Spirit in Hebrews 4:12. We pray they will do so gently and firmly, watching over themselves as Galatians 6:1 teaches, so that she is not driven away but is called to flee youthful desires and to pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart as in 2 Timothy 2:22, and to turn away from those who have a form of godliness but deny its power as in 2 Timothy 3:5.
We also pray for true repentance. The Scriptures show that repentance is not excluded for those who have fallen, for God in His kindness leads us to repentance as in Romans 2:4, and He is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance as in 2 Peter 3:9. Yet repentance must be real. Esau sought the blessing with tears but found no place of repentance because his grief was not true repentance, and his later intent to kill his brother proved it. In the same way, the prodigal in Luke 15 came to his senses, confessed that he had sinned against heaven and before his father, and took the humble place of a servant. That is the godly sorrow that leads to repentance unto life as in 2 Corinthians 7:9 to 11. We ask God to grant that kind of repentance, that she may escape the snare of the devil as in 2 Timothy 2:25 to 26, and that others also may learn the seriousness of sin as in 1 Timothy 5:20.
Concerning the future, we do not ask God to bless any relationship or living together outside the covenant of marriage, for marriage is a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman and the place for sexual union. We do not ask Him to bless being unequally yoked as warned in 2 Corinthians 6:14 and pictured in Deuteronomy 22:10, nor to bless a walk where two are not agreed as in Amos 3:3. If God in His mercy makes a person new and holy through the blood of Christ, we will not call unclean what He has cleansed as in Acts 10:15, and all Scripture is inspired and profitable as in 2 Timothy 3:16. But that cleansing comes only through true new birth and faith in Christ, demonstrated by a changed life and a willingness to walk in His ways. We pray that whatever hope and future God has as in Jeremiah 29:11 will be built on that foundation, and that any calling to serve as an evangelist or missionary will be supported in the Lord and with godly counsel, not by running from counsel.
We continue to ask the Lord to warn, to send messengers, to use His word to bring light, remembering how He has warned through prophets and even through unusual means as in 2 Peter 2:16, and how He called Eli's house to account as in 1 Samuel 2:29 to 30 and 3:13 to 14. We pray those who have said they will help will fulfill what they promised with love, reverence and zeal as in 2 Corinthians 8:11, and not do the work of the Lord negligently as in Jeremiah 48:10.
Father, we thank You in advance as in Mark 11:24, trusting Your perfect patience as shown in 1 Timothy 1:15 to 16, and Your justice that there is wrath for the soul that persists in evil as in Romans 2:9. We keep praying without ceasing as in Luke 18:1, asking for mercy that leads to life. We pray for you who have brought this request, that you will remain steadfast, pure in heart, patient, and faithful to the word, keeping yourself in the love of God while you wait for His perfect work in His perfect time. In Jesus Name we pray.

It is good that you continue to bring this before the Lord with persistence, trusting that He who began a good work is able to complete it, and that His kindness is meant to lead to repentance.
Scripture shows that God often hedges a path with thorns, as in Hosea, not to harm but to block the way toward destructive lovers and sin so that a person cannot overtake what is harming them and may come to their senses. That coming to senses is pictured in the prodigal who, in Luke 15, recognized he had sinned against heaven and before others, humbled himself and was willing to take the lowest place. That picture helps us understand what real repentance looks like.
There is an important distinction the Bible makes between sorrow and repentance. Godly sorrow works repentance, and repentance always means a change. Worldly sorrow may express regret but it brings death and does not change the direction of life. Many can say they are sorry, but true repentance turns from sin, hates evil as Proverbs teaches, and walks in a new way. That is the change we should pray for, a repentance unto life that is demonstrated over time, not only in words but in a transformed life and in a willingness to walk in holiness.

If they will not listen, others are brought in, and the church speaks, so that the seriousness of sin is understood and the person may be recovered from the snare of the devil. When that discipline is done, it must be done with gentleness and humility, keeping an eye on ourselves lest we also be tempted, as Galatians 6 teaches, and with the aim that the person would flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. It should be firm because sin is dangerous, but also gentle so that the door to return remains open, like the father who had compassion when the prodigal returned.
It is also wise to pray as you have that she would avoid those who have a form of godliness but deny its power, and that she would be surrounded by those who will speak the truth in love. The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit and it is living and powerful to convict of sin, of righteousness and of judgment as Jesus promised the Holy Spirit would do. We can ask God to raise up faithful messengers who will not fear man, for the fear of man is a snare, but who will fear God and tremble at His Word.
We do not look to the history of the church as our model, for that history is often marked by failure and lack of love, and the Lord Himself warned churches that without love and without repentance His presence would not remain. To five of the seven churches in Revelation He called for repentance. Our model is found in the book of Acts, where the church sought to walk in the power and purity of the Spirit. Part of that purity involves putting out leaven and dealing honestly with sin, not to condemn but to see power and health restored. God always preserves a faithful witness even in difficult times, and He calls His people back to Himself.
