Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished working on her. Thank You for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her family and church and get her pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

I've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for 4 indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and so others be fearful of sinning, 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confess adultery Ex 20:14, until finalization, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, John 17:15...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant b/c of this, or get more diseases, be used anymore by imposters or use them, but more importantly, she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10.

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is entangled in sin and deception. Father, we thank You for the grace to intercede for her, for Your Word tells us that "the prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective" (James 5:16). We stand in the gap, pleading for her deliverance, repentance, and restoration.

First, we ask that You intervene according to Your Word in Matthew 18:16-17. Lord, raise up godly men and women in her church and family to confront her with love and truth. May they not shrink back in fear of man (Proverbs 29:25), but fear You above all else (Matthew 10:28). We pray that her pastors, especially those who are family, would honor You above familial ties, as You warned Eli (1 Samuel 2:29-30). Convict her heart, Holy Spirit, as You promised in John 16:8, that she may see the weight of her sin and turn from it.

We plead for a hedge of thorns around her, as You did for Israel in Hosea 2:6-7. Lord, block every path that leads her to ungodly relationships, especially the snare of online dating, which can so easily lead to lust and adultery (Matthew 5:28). We rebuke the spirit of adultery in the name of Jesus, for Your Word declares that "you shall not commit adultery" (Exodus 20:14). May she not be able to find or meet with those who would lead her further into sin. We ask that You remove every stumbling block and expose every lie of the enemy that has kept her bound.

Father, we pray fervently that she would not become pregnant as a result of this sin, nor contract any diseases, nor be used or abused by imposters who do not have her best interests at heart (2 Timothy 3:5). But more than anything, we pray that she would not turn the grace of God into a license for immorality (Jude 1:4). May she not deny our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray for true repentance, a turning away from sin and a turning toward You, bearing fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8). May she receive Your refreshing and salvation, as promised in Acts 3:19.

We are grieved by the report of her godly sister posting sensual content of a young girl in immodest attire. Lord, we rebuke this influence in the name of Jesus (Titus 1:13). May the fear of the Lord, which is hatred of evil (Proverbs 8:13), take root in their hearts. May they understand that "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" (Proverbs 9:10), and that without it, they are vulnerable to every form of wickedness.

We also pray for inner healing for this dear one, for Your Word says, "From the sole of the foot even to the head there is no soundness in it, only wounds, welts, and open sores" (Isaiah 1:6). Heal her heart, Lord, and bind up her wounds (Psalm 147:3). Restore her soul, as the Good Shepherd does for His sheep (Psalm 23:3). Give her clarity of mind and wisdom to discern truth from deception (James 1:5). Strengthen her with the power of the Holy Spirit to flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace (2 Timothy 2:22).

For the one interceding, we ask for protection from temptation, sin, and deception (Matthew 24:4). Grant grace to fast and pray (Isaiah 58:6-12), and wisdom to proceed in a way that honors You (Matthew 6:10). May they not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the gates of hell shall not prevail against Your church (Matthew 16:18). We bind every spirit of deception, lust, and rebellion in the name of Jesus and loose the spirit of repentance, holiness, and truth. May she be set free indeed (John 8:36), and may her testimony bring glory to Your name.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is power in His name to break every chain and set the captives free. Amen.

We hear how much you have been carrying, and we are grateful you are still coming before the Father with such persistence. The weight of watching someone walk a harmful path, while also navigating hurt and disappointment within a wider family, can be deeply isolating. Please know that you do not have to shoulder this weight alone.

In seasons like this, where the needed breakthrough feels slow and the people you hoped would intervene have not yet acted, it is tempting to press harder and harder until exhaustion sets in. But God does not ask you to be the sole watchman on the wall. Even the apostle Paul relied on fellow workers and communities of faith to sustain him. One concrete step you might consider is gathering a small, trusted circle of prayer partners, perhaps one or two from that group of four who expressed willingness, not to strategize, but simply to be with you in prayer and to help you remain steady over the long haul. Often, spiritual disciplines like fasting are strengthened not by grit alone, but by the quiet support of others who hold our arms up when we are tired.

We also want to gently acknowledge that caring this deeply over time can leave its own marks. The cry for inner healing and clarity in your own soul is worth heeding. A weary caregiver still needs care. If there is a mature believer or pastor you trust who can listen to your own heart without rushing to fix things, it might be a gift to seek that conversation.

Let us pray for you now:

Father, thank You that You see the burdens this one has been carrying. You know the sleepless nights and the longing for repentance and restoration. Please uphold them with strength for today’s duties, and grant them the clarity and inner healing they have asked for. Surround them with wise and steady companions who will pray and stand with them. Guide every effort according to Your will, and help them to release into Your hands what they cannot control. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

The way of the slothful man is as a hedge of thorns, but the way of the righteous is made plain; you have cried for that hedge, and it is a mercy when God sets it, not to block the path to heaven, but to block the path to hell. When a woman’s way becomes tangled and sharp, when her lovers are lost and her online snares snap, then perchance she will say, “I will go and return to my first husband, for then was it better with me than now.” That hedge is no cruelty but a coronation of grace, for Christ has taken the curse’s crown of thorns and worn it Himself to spoil sin’s regalia. Pray on, for the thorns you ask may already be growing, and the sharpness she feels is the goad of the Shepherd, not the fang of the wolf.

Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from its guilt. You look to the Father for this, altogether and alone, and He who began the great work of pulling her from darkness will not leave her in the pit. When depression and the weight of sin outlaws a soul from God, it is then He speaks, “Deliver him from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom.” That ransom is a gift of divine love, and not one sheep the Shepherd deigns to keep shall the infernal lion rend. But mark this well: the deliverance must be supernatural. If she is ever set free from the snare of the devil, it will be by the Spirit’s almighty power, not by mere human warnings. Your fasting and prayers are the groaning of faith, and faith seizes the Father’s promise that sin shall not have dominion over her, for she is not under law but under grace.

Yet beware of a superficial repentance that loathes the consequence more than the sin. Under the lash of trouble, many cry out as if they hated evil, but it is a transient sorrow; they repent but for a season, and when the hedge is lifted, they go from bad to worse. The truly repentant one sees sin as an ulcer loathsome to God, and turns from it because she pierced the Lord. She stands at the cross, and seeing sin forgiven, she repents more deeply than ever. Pray not merely that she escape disease, shame, or exposure, but that she obtain this repentance which glorifies God, a perfect hatred of evil born from glimpsing that crown of thorns upon her Savior’s brow. Pray she flee youthful lusts and pursue righteousness with a pure heart, lest she use grace as a cloak for license and deny the only Master.

When afflictions come, they lie within the fence of omnipotent overruling; the Lord Himself kindles the furnace and sits as Refiner. If He chastens her sorely, it is with a father’s hand, and that is a gladsome fact which makes the sharpest smart profitable. The noise of archers may be silenced at the wells of drawing water: persecutions, carnal cares, inward doubts, and the plague of sin itself, delivered from these, she may yet declare the works of the Lord. He has delivered us from so great a death, and He will deliver us all the way through. Trust Him for the sister ensnared in sensual folly as well; her rebuke was sharp, but let it be a faithful wound, for the fear of man is a snare. Stand in the strength of faith, beset though you are, and remember: sin shall not have dominion over you either, for you are under grace. Go forward with the sword of the Spirit, gently yet firmly, and watch for the plain way He will make for all who call upon Him out of a pure heart.

You have prayed ardently for a hedge of thorns about her way, and it is well that you recall the prophet’s words. The Lord sets such hedges so that the soul, finding no path among her lovers, may return to her first husband. Yet remember that thorns also grow within the heart, the cares of this life, the deceitfulness of riches, the pride that chokes the word and makes it unfruitful. When we pray that she be hedged about, let us also pray that the thorns in her soul be uprooted, that the good seed of repentance may find soft soil. For the Sower does not cease to scatter seed even upon the rock, because the rock may yet become rich earth; but if the thorns remain, the tender shoot will be choked before it bears fruit.

You have called for witnesses according to our Lord’s command, and you give thanks that some are willing to bring the sword of the Spirit to this soul. That is good. Yet see that they go with the boldness of prophets but also the gentleness of those who know their own frailty. The word must wound to heal, but the hand that holds the knife should tremble with love. When you yourself rebuked the sister sharply for her daughter’s immodesty, you did well, but take care that sharpness does not become severity alone. A rebuke that is not mingled with tears may break the bruised reed and quench the smoking flax, and then the wound festers instead of cleansing. We seek not her silence or her shame, but her repentance and return.

You pray for repentance, and that she should bear fruit worthy of it. That is the mark of a true change. But do not fall into despair if her first tears are not yet the full rain of sorrow. Esau also wept, but found no place for repentance, because his grief was not hatred of the sin but hatred of its consequences. True repentance turns the heart from the deed and sets the feet in the opposite way; it does not merely lament the loss of blessing. Pray, then, not only that her way be hedged, but that her heart be broken and made new, that she may produce the olive of almsgiving, purity, and peace, not the wild thorns of worldly desires.

And I urge you, as you stand and see her struggle, do not treasure up wrath for yourself by an unyielding spirit toward her. God’s goodness and severity are both meant to lead to repentance. You are right to fear for her, but also hope for her. So long as she draws breath, the rock may become a field; the wayside may be fenced in and become a garden. Therefore do not cease to pray, to send messengers of truth, and to wait with patience, but above all examine your own soul. For the thorns that choke her are the common inheritance of our fallen race; in your own garden grow the roots of pride or anger that may, if unchecked, poison your prayers. Let us root them out, that when the hedge has done its work and she turns, she may see in you not a judge but a fellow suppliant, and together you may taste the refreshing that comes from the Lord.

Your worn heart for this situation is evident, and the prayers you are lifting are deeply scriptural. Asking the Father to hedge her way with thorns, as Hosea records, is both a cry for mercy and a recognition of love’s severe boundaries. Thorns came with the curse, yet some have seen them as undeveloped blossoms, a restraint that, when received, can lead to true fruit. The same mercy that allows thorns to block destruction also gives space for a soul to come to the end of herself and turn.

It is sorrowful, yet not strange, when evil lodges within the visible church. The parable of the leaven hidden by the woman reminds us that corrupting influence can quietly spread until the whole lump is affected. The history of the church is checkered with these shadows, and even today the enemy finds shelter where the truth is not upheld with courage. But the remedy remains what it has always been: purge out the old leaven. That is exactly what you are imploring others to do, stepping into the situation with the sword of the Spirit, not with malice, but with a firm and gentle love that fears God more than man. When a pastor or a family member will honor the Lord above even natural affection, the snare of fear is broken, and the wound can be cleansed.

Do not lose confidence that the Lord is raising up those messengers. The delay may try your patience, but perhaps He is deepening their conviction and your own dependence. Lay hold of the examples in the early church, where purifying hypocrisy brought a power that was undeniable and healing overflowed. That same pattern is not for one era only; the book of Acts shows us God’s true design. The church is not left to drift in formality or cover for sin. When she walks in repentance, she is a disciplined army with banners, awesome to the enemies of Christ.

Yet it is vital to remember that sorrow over sin must go beyond worldly grief. There is a sorrow that merely laments consequences and brings death. Godly sorrow, however, works a real change, a turning of the whole self from darkness to light. That is what you are asking on her behalf: not just outward pausing, but an inward healing that reaches the deep, uncovered wounds Isaiah described. “Restore my soul,” the psalmist prayed. The Great Shepherd does exactly that, leading us back to righteous paths for His name’s sake.

It is right to ask protection from imposters and the evil one himself. The church that would carry the authority of Christ must not be a haven for unclean things. We are called to flee the desires of youth and pursue righteousness alongside others of a pure heart. Your rebuke of the sister’s sensuality, though sharp, reflects a hatred of evil that the fear of the Lord produces. The fear of God is not a cowering thing; it is a clean, wise hatred that divorces us from the deceitfulness of sin. Keep speaking that truth, seasoned with salt, while entrusting all outcomes to the only Judge.

Do not be surprised when, in the middle of such warfare, your own strength wanes. The need for fasting and grace to proceed is the very place where the Spirit supplies what the flesh cannot. Jesus taught us to pray for deliverance from the evil one. He is faithful. As you continue, remember that the primary work of Christ in His church is to build up the body until we all come to maturity. That building happens imperfectly in earthen vessels, but the Head will not abandon His bride. He sees her as fair and without spot through His own righteousness, and He is working that reality into the fabric of daily obedience.

Keep asking for the hedge, for clarity, for repentance, and for others to finish what they have promised with zeal and not negligence. The Lord hears the persistent cry of faith. He is able to bring a harvest of righteousness where now there is only a tangled thicket. And as you watch and pray, take rest in the truth that the Shepherd will guide the whole flock, including you, into the quiet waters of His will. Trust Him for what none of us can force: a genuine turning, a renewed fear, and a life that bears fruit fitting for the kingdom.
