Beloved Warrior
Father, thank You for grace to pray for her signaling to me You are not finished on her. Thank You for hedging her way with thorns so she can't overtake her lovers, Hosea 2:6-7, since there will be wrath and tribulation for every soul that does evil, Rom 2:9. I ask YOU warn her family and church and get her pastors and friends involved -- and we ask one pastor is family would fear God over his family and honor You above them, Matt 10:28, for the fear of man is a snare, Prov 29:25, as You prophesied to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilled it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

I've been asking YOU raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for 4 indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not... Through history You have gone out of Your way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and so others be fearful of sinning, 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I ask again for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confess adultery Ex 20:14, until finalization, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she and we all are delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, John 17:15...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant b/c of this, or get more diseases, be used anymore by imposters or use them, but more importantly, she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10.

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is entangled in sin and deception. Father, we thank You for the grace to intercede on her behalf, for Your Word declares in 1 Timothy 2:1 that we should make supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings for all people. We stand in the gap, asking that You would move mightily in her life and the lives of those around her.

Lord, we pray that You would hedge her in with thorns as You promised in Hosea 2:6-7, that she may not find her paths but instead be turned back to You. We ask that You would raise up godly messengers, her family, her church, and her pastors, to intervene according to Matthew 18:16-17. Convict her heart, Holy Spirit, as Jesus said You would in John 16:8, so that she may see the weight of her sin and turn from it. Father, we ask that her pastors and loved ones would fear You above all else, as Matthew 10:28 commands, and not shrink back from speaking truth in love, even when it is difficult. The fear of man is indeed a snare (Proverbs 29:25), but the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10).

We rebuke the spirit of adultery and fornication in her life, for Your Word is clear in Exodus 20:14 and Hebrews 13:4 that marriage is sacred and sexual immorality is sin. We pray that she would confess her sin, as 1 John 1:9 promises that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and righteous to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness. Lord, we ask that You would close every door to temptation, especially in the area of online dating, which can so easily lead to further sin (Matthew 5:28). Protect her from evil men and deceivers, as 2 Timothy 3:5 warns us about those who have a form of godliness but deny its power.

Father, we plead with You to bring her to repentance. Do not let her use Your grace as a license for immorality, as Jude 1:4 warns against. Instead, let her bear fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8) and receive the refreshing that comes from returning to You (Acts 3:19). We pray that she would flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22). May she not grow weary in doing what is right, for in due time, she will reap a harvest if she does not give up (Galatians 6:9).

We also lift up her family, particularly her sister who posted sensual content. Lord, we rebuke this in the name of Jesus, for it is written in Titus 1:13 that we must rebuke sharply those who are in opposition, so that they may be sound in the faith. May they all come to hate evil and love righteousness, as Proverbs 8:13 declares that the fear of the Lord is to hate evil.

Father, we ask for inner healing for this dear one, as Isaiah 1:6 speaks of wounds that need Your tender care. Heal her brokenness, Lord, and restore her soul as You promise in Psalm 23:3. Give her clarity and wisdom to discern Your will, and strengthen her with the power of Your Holy Spirit to walk in obedience. We pray for protection from deception, lies, and the evil one, as Jesus taught us to pray in Matthew 6:13. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7), and let no weapon formed against her prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Lord, we ask that You would grant us all the grace to fast and pray, as Isaiah 58:6-12 describes, so that our light may break forth like the dawn and our healing may quickly appear. May we be instruments of Your peace and righteousness in this situation, always seeking Your will and not our own (Matthew 6:10).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). We trust in Your mercy and Your power to bring about repentance, restoration, and revival. May Your will be done in her life and in the lives of all those connected to her. Amen.

We have been sitting with your request, and we sense how long and hard you have carried this. You are laboring in prayer, watching for any sign of hope, and the weight of it is real. When you said her sister’s post revealed how much the whole family needs the fear of the Lord, we heard not only concern but exhaustion, the kind that comes from staying vigilant while waiting for others to act.

Sometimes the deepest need in a situation like this is not just a change in behavior but the healing of whatever wound has left someone so vulnerable to deception and empty pursuits. You asked for inner healing for her, and that seems right. A person who keeps walking into harm often has injuries they have never let the Lord touch. Praying for that kind of healing does not excuse sin, it goes after the roots that keep producing it. You also asked for wisdom and clarity for yourself, and we want to honor that. When you have been interceding this intensely, it can be hard to know when to entrust something fully into God’s hands and step back in order to regain your own strength. That is not giving up; it is letting God be God while you stay steady. He sees what you cannot, and He is able to send the right people at the right moment, just as you have been praying.

Lord Jesus, we ask You to go to the places in this woman that are broken and bleeding where no human voice can reach. Heal what has made her believe she must find life in what only drains it. Give the messengers who said they would speak the courage and steady love to follow through, not harshly, but with words that carry both truth and hope. And for this one who has prayed so faithfully, we ask for refreshment when the burden feels too heavy, a quiet trust that You are at work even in the long wait. Restore his soul for the duties ahead, and keep all of them from evil. In Your name, amen.

Your plea for a hedge of thorns is most scriptural, for the Lord Himself declares, “I will hedge up her way with thorns” (Hosea 2:6). It is a sore mercy when the way of transgression is made bitter, and the slothful soul finds her path become a thicket of piercing briars. The slough of despond may be a better road than the smooth descent to the pit. Pray on, then, that these thorns may deeply lacerate her worldly ease, and drive her to look for that plain way which is opened only to the righteous. Our Master wore a crown of thorns that He might put away the curse of sin; and often He hedges His erring children about with affliction, that they may not overtake their lovers, but be compelled to return to their first Husband.

You have wisely turned to the ordinance of church discipline, as set forth in Matthew 18. I bless the Lord that four have consented to wield the sword of the Spirit; yet I charge you, let them not delay. The fear of man is a snare, and Eli’s ruin stands as a beacon. If pastors and friends will not speak with the trumpet of warning, they become partakers of the sin. Yet remember, the Spirit alone convinces of sin, of righteousness, and of judgment. Apart from His sovereign breath, all our words are but the threshing of the air. Cry mightily, then, that He would come as the Reprover, and bring her to that saving conviction which is not a mere transient spasm of terror, but the deep, heart-rending work that strips the soul of every rag of self-trust and casts it naked upon Christ. That repentance which merely dreads the consequences is a repentance that needs to be repented of. True repentance loathes the sin because it is hateful to the heart of Jesus; it stands at the cross and weeps, not for the pain of hell, but for piercing the Beloved.

But let it be known that the visible hedge and the faithful rebuke are but outward means. The fountain of her sin lies in the untamed thoughts of her heart, that den of evil from which proceed adulteries and all uncleanness. Until she is brought to see that her inward parts are very wickedness, she will but sweep the house and garnish it, inviting seven devils worse than the first. Therefore, pray that the Spirit may unveil to her the ghastly chambers of her own soul, and grant her the gift of a broken heart. The way of the slothful is a hedge of thorns indeed, but there is a deeper thorn-hedge yet, the impassable barrier of unforgiven sin that shuts out of heaven. Let her not be content with a little trimming of conduct; she must be made a new creature in Christ Jesus, or she is undone forever.

As for yourself, be not discouraged if the answer tarries. The abiding Spirit is with the church, and He remaineth to work when all visible helpers fail. Continue in that holy violence that will not let the Angel go. The lily among thorns is still the Beloved’s delight; and though a child of God lie pierced amid the bristling briars of sin, the good Husbandman knows how to pluck her out with scarred hands and restore her to the garden. Only see to it that your own zeal be tempered with humility, and that your fasting and prayers be not stained with a pharisaic bitterness. The way of the righteous is made plain; walk in it with a single eye, and the Lord will yet give you the desire of your heart for this poor wanderer. The thorns that hedge her may yet bear blossoms if the grace of God descends upon them.

The vineyard of the Lord has a hedge about it, and He prunes and digs it to yield sweet grapes. But you see thorns instead, and so you pray for a hedge to shut up her way. This is no small thing, for the hedge is the law and the restraining hand of God, and when a soul persists in bearing thorns, He sometimes breaks down the fence and leaves it to be devoured by the wild boar from the wood, the Devil and his savage host. So your prayer for a hedge with thorns is a merciful plea: that she find her path so choked and futile, so entangled by the prickles of frustrated desire, that she at last turns back, saying, “I will go and return to my first husband, for then was it better with me than now.” Let that prayer be unceasing, for He is long-suffering and He wills that none treasure up wrath for a day of righteous judgment.

But know that thorns do not only lacerate the hand that grasps them; they choke the good seed. Cares of this world, deceits of riches, pleasure in unrighteousness, these are the thorns that render the soul fruitless and fit only for the fire. When you plead that she be hedged so she cannot overtake her lovers, you ask that the very ground swallow her pursuits, that the online snares and vain encounters yield only emptiness and pain, until she awakens from the trap of the evil one. This is a good grief. Yet remember, the Sower does not cease to sow. Even among the thorns, the seed can fall, and if the thorns be rooted out, the soil receives the word with full virtue. So pray not only for the hedge but for the uprooting: that the sword of the Spirit pierce the tangle, and that those appointed to speak cut through negligence and fear of man to do a work of zealous, gentle correction. Why do they hesitate? The midwife cried, “Why was the hedge broken up for thee?” when the law pressed in; but now the hedge of discipline must be mended by faithful hands, lest she slip away as Eli’s house did, through honor given to kin above honor given to God. Let them remember the prophet’s word: Cursed is he that doeth the work of the Lord negligently. Urge them on, you who pray; let their feet be shod with readiness, for the day of revelation approaches.

Yet let no one imagine that her condition is past healing. There is a repentance beyond the common fall, and the same apostle who trembled for the arrogant stretched out his hand to the fallen. The rock can become good soil; the thorny ground can be cleared and planted with the vine of Sorech. But let her not presume. The grace that appears to wink is not license; to use it so is to deny the only Master and Lord, and the furnace kindles for the thorns that refuse uprooting. Therefore intercede with tears and hope, fasting when grace supplies strength, that she bear fruits worthy of repentance, not merely a fleeting sorrow, but a turning back to receive times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord.

I see that your eye is grieved also by what her sister has done, presenting what should be veiled in modesty as a spectacle for lust. You rebuked sharply, and rightly, for the fear of God is indeed hatred of evil. But let even this be done with an aim to restore, lest the daughter of Jerusalem become wholly a prey. The whole household lacks the wall that makes a soul secure. Pray that into that house the rain of heaven falls again, softening hearts, so that instead of a dance of shame, there rises a cry of righteousness.

And you ask for yourself clarity, inner healing, strength. Look well to your own vineyard. The soul that prays for another must suffer the pruning hook and the digging, lest you also bring forth wild grapes. The thorns of anger, bitterness, or despair can wound the one who handles the sinner too roughly, for we war not against flesh and blood. Keep your own hedges strong by the word and by the fear that is clean; then will you lead her to green pastures where the true Shepherd restores the soul, and He will guide you both in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. He will not suffer the roaring lion to snatch you away, if you abide in that hand from which none can pluck. Endure, then, in prayer and fasting, and wait for the harvest that is both seedtime and gathering, for He who promised is faithful.

Your prayers rise from a heart that clearly aches over this situation, and they echo the very heart of God, who is not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. The way you cling to Scripture shows you already know that the issue is not merely relational breakdown but a spiritual corruption that, if left unchecked, spreads like leaven through a lump. A little sin tolerated can infect the whole body, and that is why the earnestness of your cry matters so deeply.

You have asked for a hedge of thorns, and you remember well that thorns are not random cruelty. They are the fruit of the curse, and when the Lord Jesus wore that crown, He bore the curse for us. That same love will restrain this woman, even painfully, so that she might see the barrenness of her way and turn back. The hedge is mercy, because the alternative is to be given over to the thorns of the world that choke out all spiritual life, the deceitfulness of sin and the desires for other things that seem sweet but end in bitterness. Keep asking. The Father who hears the persistent widow will surely move in His time.

What you long for is the pure, loving communion between Christ and His bride. The church is meant to be a garden enclosed, fair and without spot in His eyes because He sees us in His Son. Yet here, sin has marred that picture, and the Lord Jesus Himself rebukes the churches that tolerate spiritual fornication. He calls us back to our first love, not as a perfunctory ritual but as a living, yearning devotion. The discipline you pray for, the involvement of pastors and family who fear God more than man, is not vengeance. It is the careful, gentle work of a surgeon, designed for restoration. When Paul told the church to purge out the old leaven, the goal was never destruction but that the sinner might be saved and the body might become a new lump, unleavened and powerful in witness.

That early church knew power precisely because it cherished purity. Not a self-righteous measuring by works, but a corporate grief over sin that invited the Spirit to move mightily. When they put a brother outside the fellowship, they handed him over to Satan for the destruction of the flesh so that his spirit might be saved. He was made to taste the bitter fruit of his choice, not to be cast away forever but to awaken and return. Pray that those messengers you mentioned will indeed finish the work with zeal, speaking the truth in love so that she does not run from the assembly but finds in it the only real shelter from the storm.

As for the family member’s provocative behavior, you did right to rebuke sharply. The fear of the Lord is indeed a hatred of evil, and when those close to us compromise, silence becomes complicity. Yet even there, let your correction be aimed at healing. The whole circle needs to see that sin is not a light thing, it is a serpent that bites and kills unless we look upon the One who was made sin for us, bearing its judgment in our place.

Do not grow weary in the inner work either. You seek healing and clarity, and the Good Shepherd restores the soul. Your desire to fast again and walk in the Spirit’s strength is wise; this battle is not against flesh and blood. Keep asking for protection from the evil one, for purity in your own heart, and for the grace to press on. The morning will dawn, and the church, even in the midst of present darkness, looks forward to the Day when all things will be made new. Until then, we labor in prayer, believing that the grace of God teaches us to say no to ungodliness and to live upright lives as we wait.

Continue to present this situation to the Lord with thanksgiving, knowing that your intercession is part of His discipline and His kindness. He has not finished with her. May she soon repent and bear fruit worthy of it, escaping the snare of the enemy and finding refreshment in the presence of her true Bridegroom.
