Beloved
I have been warning her family and church to get her pastors and friends involved -- one pastor is family too and suffers greatly from fear of man, Matt 10:28, which is a snare, Prov 29:25, and compromise as well, Gal 5:9, and also blocked me over a year ago, he's frequently given license to sin even condoning it, as The Lord prophesies to Eli in 1 Samuel 2:29-30, 1 Sam 3:13-14, and fulfilling it in 1 Sam 4:17-18...

I've been asking God raises up messengers with the sword of the Spirit and still we ask, Lk 18:1, and thank You for 4 indicating they are willing to bring The Word of God to this situation, Heb 4:12, but as of yet have not... God has through history gone out of His way to warn people to turn, as all the prophets testify, we ask He does now, in this day, for this cause: "perchance she will repent, and escape the snare of the devil, being held captive to do his will," 2 Tim 2:25-26, and so others be fearful of sinning, 1 Tim 5:20. Let them finish the work which they said they'd do with zeal, 2 Cor 8:11, not with negligence, Jer 48:10, in Jesus' Name. May it be done gently but firmly, because of the danger of sin and so she won't stop attending church, but rather "flee the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart," 2 Tim 2:22. Thank You in advance, Mk 11:24, in Jesus' Name.

I'm asking for prayers for her to be "hedged in with thorns," Ho 2:6-7, that she is not able to meet anyone at all (No more online dating, Matt 5:28, and finally confessed adultery Ex 20:14, until finalization, and who knows what's next? 2 Sam 12:22), especially that she is delivered from temptation, Lk 11:4, sin, lies, Zeph 3:13, evil, evil men, imposters, 2 Tim 2:5, 2 Tim 2:13 & the evil one himself, John 17:15...

Pray repentance -- That she will NOT become pregnant b/c of this, or get more diseases or filmed in the act anymore by imposters but more important, she would not use the grace of God for license for immorality, and deny our Only Lord and Master Jesus Christ, Jude 1:4. Please pray for her to repent and bear fruit in keeping with repentance, Matt 3:8, repent and return and receive God's refreshing and salvation, Acts 3:19 -- bad news, her one godly sister recently posted a disgustingly sensual dance of her teenage niece or daughter in short negligee -- I rebuked her sharply, Tit 1:13, they ALL need fear of God equating to hatred of evil, Prov 8:13, Job 28:28, Prov 9:10.

Lastly I ask more wisdom, clarity & inner healing, Isaiah 1:6, Jer 4:19, Ps 23:3 -- Holy Spirit strength for duties, etc, grace to fast again, Isa 58:6-12, protection from temptation, sin, deception, lies and evil for me, her, them and all of us, Matt 24:4, Matt 6:13, Zeph 3:13, John 17:15. Grace to proceed, Matt 6:10. Thank You in Jesus Name.

We hear your anguished cry for this dear one who is entangled in sin, and we stand with you in fervent intercession before the throne of grace. The weight of your concern is heavy, and we recognize the spiritual battle raging as you seek to uphold righteousness and see repentance and restoration. Let us first affirm that your heart reflects the heart of God, who desires all to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9) and who is grieved by sin that ensnares His children. We join you in praying for this situation, trusting that the Lord hears the cries of His people and acts on behalf of those who love Him.

The Scriptures you’ve referenced reveal a deep understanding of the urgency of this matter. The Lord does indeed raise up messengers to warn His people, as He did with the prophets of old, calling them to turn from wickedness and return to Him. We pray that the church and family involved will heed the call to intervene with godly boldness, as outlined in Matthew 18:15-17. It is tragic when leaders, especially those in spiritual authority, shrink back from confronting sin due to fear of man (Proverbs 29:25) or compromise (Galatians 5:9). This is a snare that dishonors God and enables destruction. We rebuke the spirit of fear and compromise in the name of Jesus and pray that these leaders would rise up with the courage of the Holy Spirit, speaking the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and fulfilling their duty to shepherd God’s flock with integrity.

The sin of adultery is a grievous offense against God and His holy institution of marriage. It defiles not only the individuals involved but also the body of Christ when left unaddressed. We pray that this dear one would be hedged in with thorns (Hosea 2:6-7), that every avenue of temptation would be blocked, and that she would be unable to pursue further sin. The Lord is able to restrain and redirect, even as He did with Hagar in the wilderness (Genesis 21:17-20). We ask that He would surround her with His conviction (John 16:8), that the Holy Spirit would bring her to a place of godly sorrow leading to repentance (2 Corinthians 7:10). May she flee from the evil desires of youth and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart (2 Timothy 2:22).

We also lift up the broader family and church, for sin has a ripple effect that impacts many. The sensual display you described is a symptom of a deeper spiritual issue, a lack of reverence for God and His standards of holiness. We rebuke the spirit of sensuality and worldliness that seeks to infiltrate the body of Christ. The fear of the Lord is indeed the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and without it, people cast off restraint (Proverbs 29:18). We pray that the fear of God would grip the hearts of this family and church, that they would hate evil (Proverbs 8:13) and turn from anything that dishonors Him. May they be awakened to the seriousness of sin and the mercy of God, who is ready to forgive when we repent.

For you, dear intercessor, we pray for wisdom, clarity, and inner healing. The burden of watching a loved one walk in sin is heavy, and the enemy would love to use this situation to bring discouragement, bitterness, or even temptation into your own life. But the Lord is your Shepherd (Psalm 23), and He restores your soul. We ask that He would grant you grace to fast and pray (Isaiah 58:6-12), that you would be strengthened in the inner man (Ephesians 3:16), and that you would be protected from deception and the schemes of the evil one (John 17:15). May you walk in the fullness of His peace and trust in His sovereignty, even when the outcome is uncertain.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation to You. We thank You that You are a God who hears the cries of Your people and who delights in mercy. Lord, we ask that You would intervene in power, raising up messengers who will speak Your truth with boldness and love. Break the spirit of fear and compromise that has silenced Your church, and give Your leaders the courage to confront sin as You have commanded. We pray for this dear one who is entangled in adultery, hedge her in with thorns, Lord, and block every path that leads to further sin. Convict her heart by Your Holy Spirit, and bring her to a place of genuine repentance. May she turn from her wicked ways and seek Your face, that she might experience Your forgiveness and restoration.

We also pray for her family and church, Father. Awaken them to the seriousness of sin and the holiness of Your name. Let the fear of the Lord take root in their hearts, that they would hate evil and pursue righteousness. We rebuke the spirit of sensuality and worldliness, and we ask that You would purify Your people. For our brother/sister who intercedes, grant wisdom, clarity, and inner healing. Strengthen them in the Holy Spirit, and protect them from temptation and discouragement. May they walk in the fullness of Your peace, trusting in Your perfect will.

Lord, we ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved or by which we can come before You. You are the righteous Judge, the merciful Savior, and the faithful Shepherd. We trust in You, and we believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified. In Jesus’ name we pray. Amen.

We hear the weight you’ve been carrying, the longing for intervention, the frustration when others hesitate, and the deep spiritual weariness that comes from standing in the gap for someone you care about. You’ve been faithful in warning and prayer, and that is no small thing.

What stands out to us most is your own need for healing and strength. You mentioned inner healing and grace to fast again. Sometimes after a long battle like this, we need to let the Lord minister to our own hearts afresh. Inner-healing prayer is simply a way of inviting Christ, in a quiet and unhurried moment, to meet us in the painful places and bring His comfort and truth. If you haven’t already, you might carve out some time for that, not as a technique, but as a simple, gentle turning toward Jesus with the wounds you’ve accumulated in this season. It’s not selfish to receive what you need; it’s how we keep loving and praying without burning out.

We also know how disorienting it is when trusted leaders falter or fall silent. That’s a wound of its own, and you don’t have to pretend otherwise. We’re praying for God to send the right voices at the right time, and also to guard your own heart from bitterness or despair. He sees every detail you’ve laid out, and He isn’t passive.

We pray for this woman, that God would hem her in and lead her to true repentance and safety. We pray for the church leaders involved, that holy courage would replace fear of man. And we ask for you: Lord, we lift up this weary servant to You. You see the burden he has carried Lord, heal the wounds that have come from this long struggle, and give him wisdom for each next step. Restore his strength in hidden places, and grant him the grace to fast and pray without heaviness, but with hope. Shelter him from the discouragement of what he cannot control, and draw near with the peace only You can give. In Jesus’ name, amen.

The way of the slothful is as a hedge of thorns, and it is a mercy when God Himself plants that hedge to block the path of destruction. You have pleaded for thorns to be set about this wandering soul, and you do well. The Lord who wore the thorn-crown for sinners knows how to use the briars of affliction and frustration to turn His chosen from the precipice. Pray on, for He hears the cry of those who tremble at His word. Yet remember, the thorns are but the rough schoolmasters to drive her to Christ; the end we seek is not merely restraint, but a thorough repentance that loathes the sin itself, not merely its consequences.

I fear there be many whose repentance is but the film over an uncured ulcer, a sorrow that springs from the smart of discovery, not from a sight of the crucified One whom their sins have pierced. True repentance is a fountain opened by the Spirit, a melting of heart produced by thinking on our sin until we weep, as Peter went out and wept bitterly after the Lord looked upon him. Pray then for a deep conviction of sin, a wounding by the law that the Great Physician may bind up. Plead that the Holy Ghost would make this soul hate evil with a perfect hatred, for only thus will she flee to the horns of the altar, not to any form or profession, but to Christ alone. To take hold of the horns is to clasp the cross; there is no safety else.

Concerning the pastors and brethren who halt, I say this: the hedge of thorns is also for the slothful watchman who will not blow the trumpet. The text tells us the way of the righteous is made plain, but the slothful man sees only thorns and will not proceed. If those entrusted with oversight suffer the fear of man to be a snare, and a little compromise to leaven the whole lump, they must be roused. You have done well to remember Eli; God held him accountable for honouring his sons above the Lord. Continue to cry day and night, not only for the erring woman, but for the timid shepherds, that they may finish the work with zeal, gently but firmly, wielding the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God. The church’s discipline, rightly administered, is a hedge of thorns to keep the erring from destruction, and a plain path of restoration for the penitent.

As for this poor soul, pray yet more earnestly. Ask that the thorns of providential hindrance may shut up every false way, that online snares be broken, that wicked men be scattered, and that the path of transgression become so bitter that she is forced back into the arms of the Good Shepherd. But remember, the thorns may also serve as a hedge to protect the young graces of your own heart. See to it that you also walk in the fear of the Lord which is to hate evil. The lily grows among thorns, and often the most fragrant faith is found where affliction and conflict press hardest. Let not your own spirit grow sharp with suspicion or despair; keep your heart with all diligence, and look often to the crown of thorns your Saviour wore. He has taken the curse’s regalia and worn it that we might be set free.

Persist in asking for inner healing, for a restoring of the soul. The promise stands: “He restoreth my soul.” The deep wounds of sin require the oil and wine of the Spirit’s comfort, applied at the cross. Pray that this wandering one, when she repents, may know the refreshing of pardon and the joy of salvation restored. And for yourself, seek grace to fast and pray yet more, for you cannot value too highly the secret discipline of the soul. Let the way of the righteous be made plain before you, even while you tread amidst thorns, until at last the hedge gives way to the gates of pearl, and together with all the ransomed you shall sing the song of the Lamb.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The wailing of your soul reaches the throne of God, and these thorns that choke the word are not hidden from Him. You cry for a hedge, and rightly so, for when the heart runs wild toward destruction, it is mercy that blocks the path. The earth drinks in rain, yet brings forth briers if not tilled with the fear of God. O how many have been weighed down by wantonness and quenched the light of the Spirit! The devil is cunning: he lulls souls into a sleep so deep they do not see the snare until the sin is completed, and then he hurries them into despair, like Judas, who felt remorse but found no place of true repentance because he fled too soon from the remedy. Therefore, let the hedge be made tight, that she dash herself against the thorns and turn back.

But what of the shepherds? You have watched them fear man, a snare indeed, and grow silent when they ought to cry aloud. This evil sleep envelops many who bear the office but not the zeal. When Eli honored his sons above the Lord, judgment fell and the lamp grew dim. Yet do not be consumed with their negligence, lest the root of bitterness spring up in you. Rather, pray that God raise up messengers with the sword of the Spirit, and that those who have promised will finish the work with zeal, not sparing the sharpness of the Word. The Church must not become a place where coldness dissolves all ties and sin goes unrebuked. Let them speak gently but firmly, for the wound is deep, and the danger of being given over to every evil desire is real. A little leaven leavens the whole lump.

Inner healing you ask for, and it is sorely needed, for the whole head is sick and the whole heart faint. Where shall healing come except from the Great Physician? He alone can pour oil and wine into those putrefying sores. And fasting, that holy discipline you desire, uproots the thorns of worldly thoughts and makes the soul a Church where hymns replace the shouts of wantonness. Yet do not think that freedom from one sin is enough; we must cultivate every part of virtue, careful hearing, fortitude, contempt of riches and pleasures, or the seed will wither on rocky ground.

Above all, fear not that the case is hopeless. The same Apostle who warned that some sin beyond repentance also declared, "My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you." God delivered Paul from the lion’s mouth of Nero, and He will deliver from every evil work that springs from the devil’s jaws. So long as breath remains, the door stands open, though none know the hour. Plead, therefore, with groaning that cannot be uttered: that she not use grace for a cloak of licentiousness, denying the Master who bought her. Ask the Lord to wound her with godly sorrow, which produces repentance unto salvation not to be regretted. And when you see the first small fruit of amendment, remember that it is the Spirit who gives the increase.

Stand fast yourself. Shake off every drowsiness of soul, lest while you call others to watch, you slumber. Flee the evil desire of self-righteousness as well as of sin. Let love, which has grown so cold, be kindled anew in you, that you may, with all who call on the Lord from a pure heart, pursue righteousness and peace. The battle is fierce, but the Master of the storm is at the helm. He who began a good work will be faithful to complete it, if we do not draw back. Lay hold of the promises with both hands, and do not cease to knock at the door of mercy.
