We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this burden of chronic migraines, nausea, and eye pain. Father God, Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise, believing that You are the Great Physician, the One who sees every ache and knows every pain. We ask for Your healing touch to rest upon this suffering, Lord. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus, even in the midst of this storm.
We also recognize that physical affliction can weigh heavily on the spirit. In James 5:14-15, You instruct us, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will heal the sick, and the Lord will raise him up." We pray this prayer of faith now, trusting that You hear us and will move mightily. Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Father, we rebuke the spirit of infirmity that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy in this situation. Jesus came that we might have life, and life abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this pain does not have the final say—Your healing power does. We speak restoration over their body, mind, and spirit, in the mighty name of Jesus. Guide them to the right medical care, wisdom in managing their health, and patience as they wait on You.
We also encourage them to draw near to You in this season. Psalm 30:2 says, "Yahweh my God, I cried to you, and you have healed me." Keep crying out, dear one—Your God hears you. Let this trial refine your trust in Him, knowing that He works all things together for good for those who love Him (Romans 8:28). You are not alone in this battle; we stand with you in prayer, and more importantly, the Holy Spirit intercedes for you with groanings too deep for words (Romans 8:26).
Lord, we thank You for the name of Jesus, the only name by which we can come before Your throne of grace. It is through His sacrifice that we have access to You, and it is by His stripes that we are healed (Isaiah 53:5). We declare that healing in this situation, trusting that You are faithful to Your promises. May this dear one experience Your comfort, strength, and miraculous touch. In Jesus’ precious name, we pray. Amen.
