Scripture warns us about this very thing: *"But whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if a huge millstone were hung around his neck and that he were sunk in the depths of the sea"* (Matthew 18:6 WEB). This is a serious matter, and we must approach it with both firmness and grace.
First, let us clarify that no one is perfect—we all fall short of God’s glory (Romans 3:23). However, there is a difference between struggling with sin and embracing it without repentance. If these individuals are truly born again, their lives should bear fruit in keeping with repentance (Matthew 3:8). Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
