To Be an effective Christian in a Secular Workplace, when you are dealing with a hostile environment.
The world does not love God. If you are a Christian in a secular job it will not be easy but it will not be impossible.
For those who are in really tough situations at work, the job is hostile but you have to stay because you need the income, take
courage, Remember Joseph. He was enslaved, and treated unjustly but he stayed true to God and he did a great job, and he had
chances where he could do wrong e.g. with portiphar's wife(Genesis 39) he ran away from his bosses wife, and he ended in jail
because she lied. Yet in the prison Joseph was elevated, Joseph got a promotion in prison. He held onto God and God helped him
move up. God gave him favor even in prison. Joseph was hurt, they had beat him, enslaved him, lied about him, placed him in
prison, but he held onto God no matter what, and in the end the Lord made him the second most powerful man in Egypt, a land that
wasn't his!!! He got a wife and kids and he saw his family again!!and he saved his family. He went through awful things, but he didn't
let those things take over his spirit and make him a bitter person, he learned to be stronger and wiser and he forgave, and before he
let those brothers in his life again he tested them too. Joseph was a Godly man of integrity and true grit, and he never stopped
believing in God, he was obedient, when he worked for Portiphars and in the jail and for the Pharaoh his attitude was the same
because he worked as if he were working for God, and the Lord promoted him. Wherever he went God was with him, and he was
with God, It doesn't matter where we work in a secular or Christian environment we must work as if we were working for the Lord.
He's got our back, He will not leave us nor forsake us. Sometimes these trials help us to grow stronger faith muscles and
sometimes we are in there deep in dark places so that we shine his light and get some survivors out of the pit. We must not forget
that He loves us, we must walk in his Love, wash ourselves with his word, love and forgiveness, and shine His light, point others to
Jesus, help set the captives free, Bless His Holy Holy Name!!!Pray without ceasing!!God Bless You and give you Favor in all aspects

Treat your job as if you are working for God not man.
Work with efficiency and integrity.
Pray-You have to be ready, prepared and prayed up!
Pray for yourself and your family.
Your boss,
Your co-workers,
Clients,
Pray for protection for your place of business.
Make sure you do your job well- go to work early, don't use company equipment for personal use, don't slack off, be polite and respectful and dress appropriately.
Listen to constructive criticism and be proactive.
Don't participate in office gossip and other ungodly things.
If you need to improve in some areas find out if you can get training, or do it on your own online, go to the library.
Make sure wherever you work that you do a good job so when you have to move on you can have good references!
