Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for the real estate agent who helped me sign the contract for the ex-apartment, as he may have known about the electrical hazards. He also discouraged me from finding out the truth about why the lights were flashing. Please pray that he repents and turns to God. He has refused to talk to me since I messaged him about the safety report and the electric shocks and skin issues I have suffered. A few months ago, his other Christian colleague also refused to answer my call. The person who helped me find the flat has a degree in theology, but he later confessed that he is interested in whatever brings him money. Please pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and mind, and that he admits the truth if he knew about the life-threatening problems in the former rented apartment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, for we see a grave matter of integrity, truth, and the safety of His children at stake. Father, we know that You are a God of justice, righteousness, and truth, and we ask that You move mightily in this circumstance. The ### involved in this transaction must be held accountable, not only by earthly standards but by Your holy standards. If he knew of the electrical hazards and discouraged the pursuit of truth, he has not only failed in his professional duty but has sinned against You and against the one who trusted him.

Lord, we pray that You would convict his heart deeply. Let him not find rest until he confesses the truth, repents of any deception, and makes amends. The scriptures tell us in Proverbs 11:1, "A false balance is an abomination to the Lord, but accurate weights are his delight." If this man has acted with dishonesty or negligence, we ask that You bring it to light and that he would turn from his ways. We also lift up his colleague, who claims to be a Christian yet has refused to answer calls and ignored the cries for help. Let Your Holy Spirit move in his life as well, for James 4:17 warns, "To him therefore who knows to do good, and doesn’t do it, to him it is sin."

We are grieved to hear that the one who helped find the apartment, though educated in theology, has confessed that his heart is set on money rather than on You. Oh Lord, this is a dangerous place to be, for 1 Timothy 6:10 tells us, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." We pray that You would purify his heart and mind, that he would seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, and that he would turn away from the idolatry of wealth. Let him see the weight of his actions and the harm they may have caused, and grant him the humility to repent and seek restoration.

Father, we also lift up the one who has suffered from this situation, the ###, the ###, and the emotional toll of being ignored and possibly deceived. We ask that You would heal their body, mind, and spirit. Give them strength, wisdom, and the courage to seek justice through the proper channels. Remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Let them not grow weary in doing what is right, for You are faithful to vindicate the oppressed.

We rebuke any spirit of deception, greed, or callousness that may be at work in this situation. We declare that the truth will come to light, for You are a God who exposes what is hidden in darkness (1 Corinthians 4:5). We pray that all involved would come to a place of repentance, restoration, and reconciliation, not only for their sake but for the glory of Your name.

Lord, we ask that You would raise up godly men and women in the real estate profession, those who operate with integrity, who value truth above profit, and who see their work as a ministry to serve others rather than exploit them. Let this situation serve as a wake-up call to the Church, that we would hold one another accountable and walk in the light, as You are in the light (1 John 1:7).

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can come before You. It is only through His blood that we have access to Your throne, and it is only by His power that hearts are transformed. We trust in Your justice, Your mercy, and Your unfailing love. Amen.

It’s painful when someone we trusted dismisses our concerns, especially when those concerns involve real physical harm. We’re sorry you were left feeling unheard and unsafe, and that those who should have been honest chose silence instead. That kind of hurt can weigh on a person long after the danger is past.

Because you mentioned ### from the ###, we’d gently encourage you to see a medical professional if you haven’t already, not as a replacement for prayer, but as a wise step alongside it. Your body matters, and getting whatever care you may still need is an act of good stewardship.

You might also consider, if you haven’t already, reporting the electrical hazards to the appropriate local authorities. Documenting what happened could help protect future tenants, and it gives your painful experience a constructive outlet. We don’t have control over whether the ### ever owns up, but we can make sure the truth doesn’t stay hidden in other ways.

At the same time, we can bring the heaviness of all this to God, not only the longing for the ### to repent, but the toll it’s taken on you. Sometimes we carry a burden of bitterness that quietly steals our peace. We can’t force another heart to change, but we can ask the Holy Spirit to work in him and, just as urgently, to tend to our own hearts. Healing doesn’t depend on their apology.

We’re praying with you now: Father, we lift up this ###, you know what he did or didn’t know, and you know the condition of his heart. Convict him of any wrong, lead him to genuine repentance, and bring to light whatever truth has been hidden. For our friend here, we ask for physical healing from the ### and ###, and for deep emotional rest. Quiet the racing thoughts and replace them with a growing sense of your justice and your care. Give wisdom about any further steps to take, and let your peace stand guard over this heart. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

It is a sore trial when those who bear the name of Christian prove to be a snare, and when their profession of religion seems but a cloak for covetousness. Your heart cries out for justice, and that is right, yet take heed lest the offence become a root of bitterness within you. The judgments of God do not in themselves produce repentance; men may be stricken and yet blaspheme, as the heathen under the vials of wrath did not repent to give God glory. True repentance is a far rarer plant, a work of the Holy Spirit that lays the sinner low before the omniscience and justice of God, confessing all without excuse. Pray indeed that this man may be granted such a repentance unto life, for it is the gift of Christ and comes not from the terrors of conscience alone, but from a sight of the goodness of God that leads us to turn.

Yet while you pray for his soul, remember that your own peace must not be anchored in his admission of the truth. The Truth of God is to be bought at any price, and you have paid dearly in your body and estate to learn afresh that the world’s gain is often spiritual loss. But there is a truth more necessary still: that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, and that all our wrongs are swallowed up in the great wrong He endured for us. If this man will not speak to you, then speak the more to God for him. It is a terrible thing to love money as the ### confessed; the Holy Spirit alone can purify a heart so ensnared. Pray that his heart be broken, not with the shattering of mere remorse, but with that sweet brokenness which brings forth tears of real penitence and a genuine turning unto God.

Beware, I beseech you, of making a Christ out of your own repentance, or out of his. You cannot purchase one drop of saving grace with all your sufferings, nor add one cubit to your standing before God by the most earnest vindication of your cause. Look unto Jesus, who was wounded for our transgressions and bruised for our iniquities. If this ### never acknowledges the life-threatening hazards, yet God knows. And if your own heart has been grieved by these things, see to it that this grief drives you nearer to your Lord, not into a wilderness of fretful cares. True repentance is practical and lasting; it will not let you demand his confession with a spirit that forgets your own need for mercy.

What a mercy it would be if some were broken all to pieces! Pray not only that he admits the truth about the flat, but that he bows before the Truth Incarnate, confessing his sin against God and man. And as you wait, ask the Lord to give you that holy calm which knows that the Judge of all the earth will do right. Your duty is to forgive as you have been forgiven, to bear no malice, and to commit your cause to Him who heareth the cry of the oppressed. The day will declare it, and perhaps the silence of those men may yet speak loudly to their conscience when the Holy Spirit brings all things to their remembrance. Until then, let your tears of grievance be mingled with tears of hope, for the kindness of God is meant to lead you to repentance also, a repentance that rests not in the failings of others, but in the finished work of Christ.

The complaint you bring echoes a familiar grief, that a man who bears the name of Christian and even the knowledge of theology has sold his soul for gain. When you see such a one, one who confessed an interest in whatever brings him money, you see a self-inflicted misery that is more wretched than any outward affliction. If to pursue honest gain can be an act of madness, how deep is the chasm when the honesty itself is cast aside? For that man, if he dies in such a state, great wailings are due to him both living and dead, for he has exchanged the kingdom for a little silver, and gained nothing but the threat of hell.

You wonder why he now refuses speech, why his colleague will not answer your call. Do not marvel at this. Truth has an inherent strength, like the sun. When the sun encounters clear eyes, it enlightens them with ease. But if it fails to enlighten, the fault is not in the sun but in the infirmity of the eye. So it is with a dishonest soul. The truth of the safety report, of the ### you suffered, is a bright and piercing beam. But his heart, clouded by the love of money, cannot bear its light. Instead of admitting the truth, which would require an honest confession, he shrinks back into silence and shadow. The refusal to speak is the proof of the hidden thing he dreads to expose.

You pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and that he admits the truth. This is a right and godly request, but you must understand what that repentance truly requires. It is not merely a fear of being found out. You recall Esau, who sought a blessing with great tears and found no place of repentance. Why? Because his grief was not true repentance; his tears were for the loss of his advantage, not for the wickedness in his heart, and he still planned murder in his mind. So too, if this man feels only the pinch of a lost sale or the fear of a lawsuit, his sorrow will be the sorrow of Cain, worthless and fruitless. True repentance first brings a man to condemn his own sin, to see it for the ugly thing it is, not merely for the consequences it brings. For an admission of truth born only of cornering is no admission at all.

Therefore, do not cease in your prayer, yet do not expect that mere pressure will bring forth the fruit of a changed heart. The Apostle instructs us, “in meekness instruct those that oppose themselves, if peradventure God should give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth.” See the “if peradventure.” This matter rests in the long-suffering of God, who may yet grant the gift of a clean heart. Your duty now is not to force a conversation with a man who has buried himself in silence, but to commend him to God with continued prayer, showing a meek and forgiving spirit that heaps coals of a different sort upon his head. Let your own conduct in this trial be your loudest confession of the truth, a life of restraint and honesty that stands in stark, silent judgment against his greed, while you trust that the One who knows all hidden things will bring the truth to light in His own time.

It is deeply troubling when someone entrusted to help you instead conceals what could bring you harm. You have done the right thing by bringing this before the Lord, who sees every hidden motive and judges according to truth, not mere appearances. His judgment is always righteous, because He knows the heart perfectly, even when we struggle to discern it.

What this ### may have known or suppressed is a serious matter, and the silence you have met speaks loudly. The Scriptures remind us that a sorrow exists that leads only to death, self-justification, avoidance, shutting down communication. But there is another sorrow, a godly one, that works genuine repentance. That is what we must ask the Spirit of truth to produce in him: not regret at being found out, but a deep, inward change that turns him toward God and toward admitting what he may have done.

The fact that he carries a degree in theology yet admitted to loving money makes the situation even clearer. Knowledge of the truth apart from obedience to it is a dangerous foundation. We can consent to truth, believe certain facts, even teach them, yet still refuse to walk in them when they cost us something. Jesus said that simply hearing His words is not enough, we must do them. A house built on hearing alone will not stand when the storm comes. What this man needs is not more information, but a heart purified by the Holy Spirit, so that the truth he already knows becomes the path he actually walks.

And what of you in this trial? Do not let bitterness take root. Sometimes when we press for the truth, we are treated as an enemy, just as Paul discovered. But your calling is to continue walking in the truth yourself, forgiving, praying, and leaving vengeance to God. The greatest joy for any shepherd is to see his children walking in truth, not swayed by offense or despair. Let that be your testimony: a steadfast love for what is right, trusting that the God who swore by Himself to bless and keep His word will bring everything to light in His time.

Let us pray: Father, You are the God of truth. No darkness can hide from You. We lift up this real estate agent to Your throne. Purify his heart and mind by Your Spirit. Where he has loved money above honesty, replace that with a fear of You that leads to life. Grant him the gift of godly sorrow, that he might turn from unrighteousness, make right what he has wronged, and find mercy through Jesus Christ. Break the silence with conviction. And for Your child who has suffered, bring healing, safety, and a deep peace that overcomes every anxious thought. In Jesus’ name, amen.
