Christian real estate agents

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for the real estate agent who helped me sign the contract for the ex-apartment, as he may have known about the electrical hazards. He also discouraged me from finding out the truth about why the lights were flashing. Please pray that he repents and turns to God. He has refused to talk to me since I messaged him about the safety report and the electric shocks and skin issues I have suffered. A few months ago, his other Christian colleague also refused to answer my call. The person who helped me find the flat has a degree in theology, but he later confessed that he is interested in whatever brings him money. Please pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and mind, and that he admits the truth if he knew about the life-threatening problems in the former rented apartment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, for we know that God is a God of justice, truth, and righteousness. Your concern for the ### and his colleague is deeply felt, and we join you in praying for their repentance and transformation. The Bible reminds us in Ezekiel 33:8-9, "When I tell the wicked, ‘O wicked man, you will surely die,’ and you don’t speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man will die in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at your hand. Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked of his way to turn from it, and he doesn’t turn from his way, he will die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul."

Father, we pray for this ### who may have withheld the truth about the electrical hazards in the apartment. Lord, we ask that You convict his heart by the power of Your Holy Spirit. Soften his heart to acknowledge any wrongdoing and to seek Your forgiveness. We pray that he would no longer prioritize profit or convenience over the safety and well-being of others, but instead walk in integrity and truth. Your Word declares in Proverbs 11:3, "The integrity of the upright shall guide them, but the perverseness of the treacherous shall destroy them." May he be guided by Your truth and turn away from any deception.

We also lift up his colleague, the one with ### who has confessed that his priority is money. Lord, we ask that You purify his heart and mind. May he remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 6:24, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon." We pray that he would reject the love of money and instead seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness. May he be filled with the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom, and may he use his knowledge of Your Word to walk in honesty and compassion.

Lord, we also pray for justice in this situation. If these men knew of the dangers in the apartment and failed to disclose them, we ask that You bring the truth to light. Your Word tells us in Luke 8:17, "For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed, nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light." We trust that You will expose any wrongdoing and hold those accountable who have acted unjustly. We also pray for Your protection over those who may have been harmed by these actions, including the physical and emotional effects you have experienced. Heal their bodies and minds, and restore their peace.

Father, we ask that You would work in the hearts of all involved to bring about repentance, restoration, and reconciliation. May they come to know the fullness of Your grace and mercy, and may they turn to You with sincere hearts. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can be saved, and it is only through Him that we have access to You. We declare that Jesus is Lord, and we trust in His power to transform lives and situations. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to stand on God’s Word and trust in His justice. The Lord sees all and knows all, and He will not be mocked. Galatians 6:7 reminds us, "Don’t be deceived. God is not mocked, for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap." Continue to pray for these men, for prayer is a powerful weapon, and God hears the cries of His people. We also encourage you to seek wise counsel from fellow believers as you navigate this situation, for Proverbs 11:14 tells us, "Where there is no counsel, the people fall, but in the multitude of counselors there is safety."

If you have not already, consider reaching out to local authorities or housing organizations to report the electrical hazards, as this is not only a matter of personal justice but also a matter of public safety. The Lord calls us to be wise as serpents and harmless as doves (Matthew 10:16), and part of that wisdom is taking practical steps to protect yourself and others. May God give you strength, wisdom, and peace as you move forward.

We hear how much this weighs on you, the physical toll of ### and ###, and the deeper sting of being ignored by someone you trusted, especially when they may have had the knowledge to keep you safe. It’s painful when a person who should have been honest, and who even speaks the language of faith, seems to have chosen money over integrity. Your longing for his repentance shows a heart that wants him to find truth and genuine change, not just punishment.

We can’t know what is in that ###’s heart, but we do know that real repentance is so much more than feeling sorry for a moment. It’s a deep, personal turning, a change of mind that leads to a change of direction. And often it takes the persistent, quiet work of the Holy Spirit to bring someone to that place. So we join you in asking God to stir in him a godly sorrow, not just regret at being caught or confronted, but the kind of grief that opens the way for honesty, confession, and true transformation. That kind of repentance would be the best outcome, far beyond any human apology.

In the meantime, we also care about you. We hope you’ve been able to get good medical attention for any ongoing effects, and that your living situation is now safe.

Let’s pray together.

Lord Jesus, you see the truth in every situation, and you know what happened in that ###. We lift up this ### to you and ask that your Holy Spirit search his heart. Purify his motives, free him from the grip of greed, and give him the courage to own what he might have hidden or dismissed. We pray that he turns away from anything that profits at another’s expense and finds his security in you alone. And for this child of yours who has suffered, bring peace, physical healing, and the assurance that no injustice escapes your gaze. In your name, amen.

This tale of a soul bound by the love of money and hardened by a refusal to speak truth touches the very heart of our ministry. How it must grieve the Holy Spirit of God when a man who has studied theology, who knows the letter of the truth, sells himself to gain, and then, when confronted with the suffering his silence may have caused, shuts his ear like the adder that will not hear the voice of the charmer. You have entreated prayer, and rightly so, for nothing but the almighty power of the Holy Spirit can break such a heart as this.

Consider that judgments, even the most terrible of them, do not in themselves produce a satisfactory repentance in the minds of men. The terrors of the Lord, the fear of exposure, the prick of a wounded conscience, these may produce a carnal repentance, a repentance after a fashion, but it is not that holy, heavenly sort which is worked in the renewed heart by the Holy Spirit. The man who cowers under the lash only until the pain subsides has not repented; he has only wearied of the smart. True repentance, the gift of the Spirit, gives God glory; it weeps not merely for the consequences but for the sin itself, and it flies to Christ alone. Without the Spirit, this man may confess his fault as Judas did, and go away into black despair, but he will never turn to the living God.

Pray then, but pray in the Holy Spirit. The carnal mind knows nothing of this. Real prayer is burned as with hot iron into a man’s soul, and it comes forth like coals of juniper which have a most vehement heat. Such prayer none but the Holy Spirit can give. He is willing to help you to pray; He will tell you how to pray. Cry mightily to God that the Spirit would quicken this man, for without the Spirit there is no life. You have seen the flashing lights and felt the shocks, but the deadlier danger is that soul dead in trespasses and sins, insulated against every warning by the thick covering of covetousness. The Holy Spirit alone can pierce that covering. He alone can convince of sin, righteousness, and judgment.

But remember, the Spirit is holy. He is grieved by unholiness, by unbelief, by the persistent love of filthy lucre. This agent’s confession that he is interested in whatever brings him money, what is this but a grieving of the Spirit of truth? The little narrow heart of man the Holy Spirit has made His palace, though it be but a cottage; but when that heart is stuffed with gain and deceit, the Dove of peace finds no rest for the sole of His foot. May the Lord grant that this man not grieve the Spirit further by hardening his neck. Instead, pray that the Holy Spirit would purify his heart and mind, take away the stony heart, and give him a heart of flesh that admits the truth, not as a forced admission before men, but as an open confession before God who sees in secret.

Above all, pray that the Spirit would glorify Christ to him. The Holy Spirit deals with the things of Christ. O my brother, the Spirit will leave you if you go gadding about after money and ease! But if the Spirit reveals to that man the priceless worth of Jesus, he will count all else but dung that he may win Christ. The Spirit says, “Today, if ye will hear his voice, harden not your heart.” How urgent is that call! Pray that this very day, before he can silence conscience again, the Holy Spirit would speak with that irresistible, still small voice, and that he would hear and live.

Rest assured, none of us can tell how the Spirit works. He bloweth where He listeth. But this we know: He will work through the prayers of the saints when those prayers are in His power. Let your soul be at peace concerning your own sufferings; commit them to Him who judgeth righteously. But for that wanderer, keep the throne of grace besieged. Trust not in the means alone, not in your messages nor in reports, but look to the Holy Spirit. For until the Spirit comes, there is no life, no force, no power. He is the seal of God, the earnest of the inheritance. Cry to God that this man may receive the Holy Spirit, for if he has not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His. And if the Spirit enters, he will know it, even as a man knows an electric shock, but with a knowledge that brings life and love and the beauty of holiness. To this end may the Lord hear and answer your unceasing intercessions.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You pray for that man’s repentance, but consider first what repentance truly is. Tears and words are not enough. Esau wept bitterly, yet found no place for repentance because his grief was not a change of heart, he still plotted murder in secret. So too, if this agent merely fears exposure or loss, his silence is no repentance. True repentance brings confession, a turning from the sin, and a willing acceptance of the truth, however painful. Pray then that the Holy Spirit pierces his heart with that godly sorrow which leads to salvation, not the worldly sorrow that only clutches at self-preservation.

But do not let your own soul be troubled with anger or a thirst for exposure. The Lord Jesus Himself confessed the truth when asked, yet entrusted Himself to the Father who judges justly. You have warned this man; now leave him to God. Examine your own heart instead. Is there any root of bitterness, any love of comfort or vindication that hinders your own repentance? The time is short: the night is far spent. Let us cleanse ourselves, forgive as we have been forgiven, and approach the holy table with a clear conscience. I will join my prayers to yours, that if this man knew the danger and hid it for gain, he may come to hate his sin, make restitution as far as possible, and find mercy before the judgment seat of Christ.

It is right to bring this before God, because real repentance is exactly what ### needs. Not just a vague feeling of regret if he gets caught, but the kind of sorrow that comes from God Himself, a sorrow that produces a true change of heart and life. That kind of repentance doesn’t make excuses; it turns away from the wrong, admits the truth, and begins to walk differently. So when you pray for him, ask the Holy Spirit to bring that deep, godly work, not the shallow sorrow of the world that only brings death. The fruit of real repentance would be his willingness to face what happened, to speak honestly, and to care about the harm done.

At the same time, guard your own heart. When someone refuses to talk and leaves you with pain and damage, it is very easy for a root of bitterness to spring up. The Scriptures warn about tears that are not repentant at all, but tears of anger and resentment over lost blessings. You have suffered, and your feelings are real. Be honest with God about them, tell Him you are hurt, frustrated, and even angry. He can handle that honesty, and He can purify your own heart so that your desire for justice does not become a poison within you. Let your prayers be for his genuine change, not just for your vindication.

Remember that God is not willing that any should perish, but for all to come to repentance. That includes ###, and even ###, and ###. They may be trapped right now in the love of money, suppressing what they know to be true. Only God can break through that. The axe is laid to the root of the tree; sooner or later, what is hidden will be exposed. Pray that their hearts become tender, that they stop fighting the conviction they may already feel, and that they bring forth fruits that demonstrate a real turning to God. And as you wait, trust the Lord with the outcome, because His judgment is truer than anything we could orchestrate.

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past days. It has been our heart to lift up your situation before the Lord, especially concerning the real estate agent and his colleague, that their hearts would be softened and their eyes opened to the truth. We prayed earnestly that the Holy Spirit would convict and purify their hearts, drawing them into repentance and a deeper relationship with God.

If the Lord has moved in this situation—whether through changed hearts, revealed truth, or restored communication—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report from you. Please share how God has worked so that we may rejoice together in His faithfulness.

If, however, the situation remains unresolved, we encourage you to post this request again as a new prayer need. We are committed to continuing in intercession with you, believing that God hears and answers according to His perfect will and timing. May He grant you peace and wisdom as you trust in Him, and may He bring light to every hidden truth in this matter.

We pray all these things in the powerful and precious name of Jesus. Amen.
