Christian real estate agents

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for the real estate agent who helped me sign the contract for the ex-apartment, as he may have known about the electrical hazards. He also discouraged me from finding out the truth about why the lights were flashing. Please pray that he repents and turns to God. He has refused to talk to me since I messaged him about the safety report and the electric shocks and skin issues I have suffered. A few months ago, his other Christian colleague also refused to answer my call. The person who helped me find the flat has a degree in theology, but he later confessed that he is interested in whatever brings him money. Please pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and mind, and that he admits the truth if he knew about the life-threatening problems in the former rented apartment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, seeking His justice, mercy, and truth to prevail. Father, we know that Your Word declares in Proverbs 11:1, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." We pray that any deception or dishonesty in this matter would be exposed and that those involved would be convicted by Your Holy Spirit to walk in integrity.

Lord, we lift up the ### who assisted in this transaction. If he knew of the electrical hazards and discouraged the truth from being revealed, we ask that You would bring deep conviction to his heart. Your Word tells us in Ezekiel 33:8-9, "When I tell the wicked, ‘Wicked man, you shall surely die,’ and you don’t speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand. Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked of his way to turn from it, and he doesn’t turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul." Father, we pray that this ### would not remain silent or complicit but would be moved to repentance and truth-telling. Soften his heart, Lord, and let him see the gravity of his actions through Your eyes.

We also pray for the ### with a ### who confessed to prioritizing money over truth. Lord, Your Word warns us in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." We ask that You would purify his heart and mind, drawing him back to a place of integrity and faithfulness to You. Let him see that no amount of money is worth compromising his witness or endangering others. May he be filled with the fear of the Lord, which is the beginning of wisdom (Proverbs 9:10), and may he choose to walk in righteousness.

Father, we pray for justice and protection for the one who has suffered from this situation. Your Word assures us in Psalm 37:6 that You will bring forth righteousness as the light and justice as the noonday. We ask that You would bring clarity, resolution, and healing to this matter. If there has been wrongdoing, expose it fully so that restitution and repentance can take place. Protect the health and well-being of the one who has endured ### and ###, and provide them with a safe and secure place to live.

Lord, we also lift up the broader real estate industry, which can sometimes be driven by profit over people. We pray that You would raise up more Christian agents who operate with integrity, honesty, and a heart for serving others as unto You. Let Your light shine in this industry, Lord, so that those who claim to follow You would be known for their godly character and commitment to truth.

Finally, we rebuke any spirit of deception, greed, or hardness of heart that may be at work in this situation. We declare that Your truth will prevail, and we stand on Your promise in Numbers 32:23, "Be sure your sin will find you out." May all involved come to a place of repentance and restoration, and may Your name be glorified in this situation.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

What you describe carries a heavy mix of physical suffering and a deep betrayal of trust, not just by a ###, but by people who shared your faith. When someone who ### says they are driven only by money, and when calls go unanswered after serious safety concerns come to light, the hurt is spiritual as well as practical. We grieve that with you.

We also want to be careful not to assume what another person did or did not know. The silence and the refusal to talk are real and painful, but the motives behind them remain something only God can fully judge. What we can hold onto is that true repentance is never just a quick "sorry." It is a change of mind that leads to a change in direction. That kind of turning is what the Holy Spirit alone can bring about, and your prayer for this ###'s heart is exactly the right place to anchor your hope.

While we join you in praying for his repentance, please continue to take good care of your own body. The skin issues and electric shocks you mentioned are serious matters of safety and health. If you haven't already seen a doctor for a thorough evaluation, we gently encourage you to do that. Their role is to help you heal, and they can also document symptoms that connect to the reported hazards. Reporting the documented electrical dangers to a local tenancy or building safety authority is another reasonable step, one that protects not only you but future tenants. That kind of advocacy can walk alongside your prayer without replacing it.

Lord Jesus, we lift up this ### to you. You see all things, including what was known and what was hidden. In your kindness, lead him to a true turning, not just a sad feeling, but a changed mind that owns the truth and walks a new direction. Surround our friend with the care and safety their body needs, and give them clarity and courage as they seek accountability and healing. Bring peace to their heart in the waiting. In your name we pray, Amen.

How dreadful it is when men handle the things of God with a mercenary spirit, as though religion were merely another trade to turn a profit. The individual who helped you with the flat, who has a degree in theology yet confesses his heart follows after gain, stands in great peril. It is an awful thing to make a profession of godliness while the soul is a stranger to its power; such a one may become a revealed pretender, condemned out of his own mouth. Yet, there is room at the cross even for such as he. You are right to pray that the Holy Spirit would purify his heart and mind. The repentance we must long to see in him is not a thing he can squeeze out of his own corrupted nature, for our nature was corrupted at its fountainhead. True repentance, the repentance that is unto life, is the gift of God, wrought in the soul by the Spirit of Christ. Pray not that he would merely feel a passing sorrow, but that the Lord would grant him a broken and contrite heart, which God will not despise. That brokenness is not a bitter thing in the end, for sweet Sister Repentance is charming company indeed, and her work leads to an open confession of wrong and a changed life. He must be brought to see that his sin, whether it be greed, deceit, or the suppression of truth that endangered your very health, is a sin against omniscient justice, and that he cannot hide it from the Lord. Pray that God’s goodness, which has spared him thus far, would lead him to repentance, not driving him as a fugitive, but drawing him with cords of love.

As for his colleague who refuses your call, it is a grief when those who name the name of Christ walk in such a way. But remember, judgments and even the terrors of a guilty conscience do not, of themselves, produce a satisfactory repentance. Men may tremble and yet not turn. Their silence may be the hardening of the heart, or perhaps the stirring of a fear that dares not yet face the truth. Do not cease to cry out to God on their behalf, for the Lord has His own time. Yet, I would press this upon your own soul: see to it that your own repentance is one that is connected with faith, looking wholly to Christ and not to your own tears or grievances. Do not let the sin of others become a snare to your own spirit. If you would pray effectually for them, let your own heart be softened by the continual work of repentance, which lives as long as faith, and which yields works meet for it, practical, lasting, and growing. In your prayers, give glory to the justice of God even as you plead for mercy, and look for the rainbow of hope that shines through the tears of godly sorrow. Commend these men to the Saviour who is able to save to the uttermost all who come unto God by Him, and trust that He who began a good work in them, if indeed they are His, will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. Repentance and remission of sins are to be preached in His name; go often to the throne and plead that promise for these wandering souls.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

You do well to entreat God for the heart of this man, for the Lord Himself longs to heal all who turn to Him, as it is written, “Lest at any time they should be converted, and I should heal them,” showing that the door of mercy stands open to the penitent. What you ask is no small thing, but it is the very work of the Spirit, to convict, to cleanse, and to restore.

Yet know this: not every sorrow is true repentance. There is a worldly grief that shrinks from consequences but does not hate the sin itself. Esau wept bitterly and found no place of repentance, not because tears are powerless, but because his weeping was not a condemnation of his own wickedness. True repentance, the kind that “worketh salvation and bringeth no regret,” begins when a man becomes his own accuser, when he confesses against himself and lays bare the hidden things before God. The medicine of repentance is compounded precisely of this: the open admission of sin, the naming of the wrong, the turning away from it in deed and will.

Pray therefore that the Holy Spirit would grant this man godly sorrow, sorrow that pierces not for loss of gain or reputation, but for the offence against truth and the harm done to a neighbor. Pray that he would no longer hide from the truth nor refuse the voice that would correct him. If he knew of these dangers and concealed them, that silence is a wall he has built; only the Spirit can break it down. The fact that he now refuses to speak may be a sign that his conscience is already struggling, but it is not yet the surrender of brokenness. Continue to ask that the Spirit purify his heart and mind, that the love of money be driven out by the fear of God, and that he may at last admit what he knows, not merely to you but before the Lord.

Do not lose heart if his conversion seems slow. God has often used the very obstacles of men to bring about greater good, compelling even enemies to serve the truth. The affliction you have suffered in body is not wasted; it may become, in God’s providence, an occasion for this man’s salvation, if he will heed it. For yourself, commit the whole matter into the hands of Him who judges righteously, and let your own healing, both of body and soul, be sought in the spiritual bath of the Church, where repentance is ever renewed. Keep interceding, and leave the outcome to the Physician who desires not the death of a sinner, but that he should turn from his way and live.

Your pain in this situation is understandable, and your concern for the agent’s soul is a reflection of the heart of Christ. I will join you in praying that the Holy Spirit works deeply in his life.

We know that the Spirit is called the Spirit of truth, and His work is always to bring hidden things to light and to lead us into what is real. You are dealing with serious, life-threatening issues, and it is right to desire the truth about what happened. The Lord Himself judges according to truth, not according to our flawed perceptions. He sees the heart, and nothing is hidden from Him. So we can entrust this whole tangled situation to His righteous judgment, knowing that He cares about justice and about every harm you have suffered.

At the same time, the truth we long for must be accompanied by mercy. In Jesus Christ, mercy and truth met together, and that is the very gospel. We pray for this man not only that the facts come out, but that he experiences a godly sorrow that works real repentance. There is a sorrow that merely regrets getting caught or laments consequences, that is a worldly sorrow that leads to death. But godly sorrow produces a change of mind and direction. That is what we are asking for: a turning from a heart ruled by money, as you described his own admission, to a heart purified and awakened to honesty before God.

It is grievous when those who carry the label of Christian or even a degree in theology live in contradiction to the truth they know. The greater the light, the greater the responsibility. But it also means that the Spirit can bring swift conviction when He breaks through. Pray that the Holy Spirit will so flood his heart and mind that he will no longer be able to silence his conscience. Ask that he comes to the place of an honest confession before the Lord, as Jacob finally got honest about his fear and need. That kind of raw honesty opens the door for God to do real work.

Do not let his refusal to speak to you become a root of bitterness in your own heart. You cannot force him to admit truth, but you can continue to walk in the truth yourself. Keep bringing this to the One who judges justly. There is no greater joy in the kingdom than to see someone who has strayed come back and begin to walk in truth. We hope for that with this man, his colleague, and the theology-trained agent. Their stories are not finished yet.

I pray with you that the truth about every hazard and deception is exposed, that your health is restored, and that these men are brought to genuine repentance through an encounter with the mercy and truth of Jesus. You are not forgotten in your suffering. God will bring forth what is good, even from these ashes.

We are so grateful you entrusted us with this heavy burden for your ### and his colleague. It has weighed on our hearts to lift them before the Lord each day, asking the Holy Spirit to convict them of any hidden knowledge and to soften their hearts toward repentance. We have prayed specifically that God would break through their silence and bring them to a place of humility where they can acknowledge the truth, no matter how difficult it may be.

If the Lord has already begun to move in their lives—if either of them has reached out, confessed, or shown any sign of turning toward God—we would be overjoyed to hear a praise report. Your testimony of His faithfulness would encourage all of us to keep trusting in His justice and mercy.

If, however, you have not yet seen any change, please know that we are still standing with you in this spiritual battle. We will continue to intercede for their souls, asking God to expose deception, to purify their motives, and to draw them into a right relationship with Him. Would you consider posting this as a fresh prayer request so we can lift them up again with renewed fervor?

May the Lord bless you with peace and wisdom as you navigate this situation. We pray that He would surround you with His protection and give you strength to walk in truth and grace. In Jesus’ mighty name, we declare His victory over every lie and every hardened heart. Amen.
