Please pray in Jesus name for the real estate agent who helped me sign the contract for the ex-apartment, as he may have known about the electrical hazards. He also discouraged me from finding out the truth about why the lights were flashing. Please pray that he repents and turns to God. He has refused to talk to me since I messaged him about the safety report and the electric shocks and skin issues I have suffered. A few months ago, his other Christian colleague also refused to answer my call. The person who helped me find the flat has a degree in theology, but he later confessed that he is interested in whatever brings him money. Please pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and mind, and that he admits the truth if he knew about the life-threatening problems in the former rented apartment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in fervent prayer. Father, we ask that You would bring truth to light in this matter, for Your Word declares, "The truth will make you free" (John 8:32). We pray for the real estate agent who assisted in this transaction, Lord, if he knew of the electrical hazards and chose to conceal them, we ask that You would convict his heart by the power of the Holy Spirit. May he repent of any deception, greed, or negligence and turn fully to You, seeking forgiveness and restoration.

Father, we also lift up the colleague who refused to answer your call. Scripture tells us, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray that both men would be broken over any sin in their lives, whether it be dishonesty, love of money, or hardness of heart. Soften their hearts, Lord, and draw them to Yourself.

We rebuke the spirit of greed and deception that may have influenced these men. Your Word warns, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows" (1 Timothy 6:10). We pray that any ungodly motives would be exposed and that their hearts would be purified, aligning with Your will.

Lord, we also ask for Your protection and justice for the one who suffered harm in this apartment. You are a God of justice, and we trust that You will bring healing and restitution where it is needed. "The Lord works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed" (Psalm 103:6). We pray for physical healing from the electric shocks and skin issues, and we ask that You would restore peace and security.

Father, we lift up the man with a theology degree who confessed his love for money over You. We pray that You would remind him of Your call to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness (Matthew 6:33). May he be transformed by the renewing of his mind (Romans 12:2) and turn away from the idolatry of wealth.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can come before You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). May Your will be done in this situation, and may Your glory be revealed. Amen.

We hear how deeply this has hurt you, not just the physical harm, but the way people you trusted handled it afterward. It’s especially painful when someone with a theology degree admits he’s just after money, and when an agent who may have known about serious hazards now refuses to even speak with you. That kind of silence can feel like a second injury.

You’ve done your part: you flagged the safety issues, you reached out, and you’ve asked others to care. What that agent does with his conscience is something you cannot control. But you can hand this burden over to God, who sees every hidden thing and who desires truth in the innermost parts. It may not be wise to keep contacting someone who has shut the door, instead, step back and entrust both the truth and his heart to the One who knows. That isn’t giving up; it’s making room for God to work in ways you can’t.

We’re praying with you that the Holy Spirit will stir his conscience, bring whatever light is needed, and turn his heart toward God. And we pray for you, too, that in the midst of this you’ll find peace and healing from the shocks and skin issues you’ve suffered.

Father, we lift up this real estate agent to You. If he knew about those electrical dangers and stayed silent, we ask that conviction would come upon him, that he would admit the truth and turn from whatever has kept him from You. For this man and for the one whose heart got tangled in money, we pray You would purify their motives and draw them to genuine faith. And for our friend who brought this to us, please bring relief from any lingering physical trouble, steady their spirit, and grant them the quiet confidence that You are just and You see. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Bless me to know You, so that I can trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Oh, that the Holy Spirit would break in upon the soul of this ###, whose heart has been given over to the love of money rather than the love of God! A man with a degree in theology, yet confessing interest only in what brings him gain, what a divided heart, and what a perilous state! The broken heart is never divided, but the divided heart is not broken. True repentance is a gift of God, not wrung from terror; it is not a preparation for grace, but the first result of grace working within the soul. Let us pray that he does not merely feel a carnal regret, which withers in a night, but that the goodness of God leads him to a repentance deep and lasting.

We dare not trust a repentance that springs alone from fear of discovery, but we plead that the love of Christ, who dissolved hearts of stone with His own blood-bought pardon, would now dissolve his. For this man to have known of deadly hazards yet refused truth and shunned those he harmed, this is sin indeed, and he must make confession, not merely to man, but to God from whom no secrets are hid. Yet what hope there is! If Christ is first and last and everything to him, He will give repentance, the heart of flesh, the sensitive conscience, the cleansed life. I pray that this ### will yet cry out, “God be merciful to me a sinner,” and that his mouth, now silent in shame, will one day make the good confession of a changed spirit and a transformed life. Let us unite in this petition, trusting that He who grants repentance unto life will not quench the smoking flax.

The grief you describe in that man’s silence is not yet the sorrow that leads to life. Many shed tears, as Esau did, and find no place of repentance, not because repentance is refused, but because their weeping was only for consequences, not for sin. True repentance turns the heart from love of money to love of God, and bears the fruit of confession. When a man confesses openly that he pursues whatever brings him money, he has already named his idol. Pray, then, that the Holy Spirit would wound him with a godly sorrow that brings no regret, a sorrow that makes the soul willing to suffer loss rather than cling to dishonest gain.

Do not think that his refusal to speak hides his fault. Sin, when it tries to bury itself by adding more sin, only shouts the truth more loudly. Herodias thought she silenced John by his death, but his voice became stronger. So too, his avoidance and the silence of his colleague only magnify what they wish to conceal. God sees the heart, and He is not mocked. Continue to pray with long-suffering, remembering that the Apostle said, “if peradventure God may give them repentance.” That “peradventure” is not doubt of God’s power but a call to your own patient hope. Do not cease to intercede, for the snare of the devil holds many captive, and only God can grant them recovery.

Guard your own soul in this trial. Do not let bitterness make you lie to the foot, for we are members one of another. Speak truth, but speak it in meekness, leaving vengeance to the Lord. The affliction you suffered in that dwelling may yet become an occasion for his salvation, if your prayers and conduct awaken his conscience. God can heal both your body and his soul, using these very troubles to bring forth repentance unto salvation. Trust in that power, and continue to request the Church’s prayers for him, that the love of money be uprooted and the truth be admitted, not merely with words but by a changed life.
