Christian real estate agents

Kensem

Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for the real estate agent who helped me sign the contract for the ex-apartment, as he may have known about the electrical hazards. He also discouraged me from finding out the truth about why the lights were flashing. Please pray that he repents and turns to God. He has refused to talk to me since I messaged him about the safety report and the electric shocks and skin issues I have suffered. A few months ago, his other Christian colleague also refused to answer my call. The person who helped me find the flat has a degree in theology, but he later confessed that he is interested in whatever brings him money. Please pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and mind, and that he admits the truth if he knew about the life-threatening problems in the former rented apartment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, knowing that God sees all and judges justly. Father, we ask that You would bring conviction to the hearts of those involved in this matter, especially the real estate agent who may have withheld truth or discouraged the pursuit of safety. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 11:1, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." If deception or negligence has taken place, we pray that the Holy Spirit would pierce their conscience and lead them to repentance. Lord, we ask that You would soften their hearts to truth and justice, that they may turn from any wrongdoing and seek Your forgiveness.

We also lift up the agent’s colleague, who claims a background in theology yet has prioritized financial gain over integrity. Scripture warns in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." Father, we pray that You would expose any hidden motives and purify their heart. Let them see the weight of their actions and the harm that may have come from placing profit above righteousness. May they be restored to a right relationship with You, walking in honesty and godly fear.

For the one who has suffered from electrical hazards and health issues, we ask for Your healing and protection. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all." Lord, we pray that You would bring comfort, justice, and restitution where it is needed. If there has been wrongdoing, may it be exposed and made right according to Your will.

We rebuke any spirit of deception, greed, or hardness of heart in this situation. We declare that truth will prevail, and that those who have been wronged will see justice. We pray that all involved would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). May they turn from sin, seek Your face, and walk in the light of Your truth.

Lord, we ask that You would guard the hearts of Your people from being taken advantage of, and that we would always walk in wisdom and discernment. Help us to hold fast to integrity, even when others do not. We trust in Your justice and mercy, knowing that You will make all things right in Your time.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We hear how heavy this is, the physical harm you’ve endured, the silence from people you should have been able to trust, and the deep sting of betrayal when faith was part of the picture. That kind of hurt sits in the bones, and we don’t want to rush past it.

What stands out most is the pain you’re still living with: the shocks and the skin issues. If you haven’t yet seen a doctor about those symptoms, we’d gently encourage you to make an appointment soon. Electrical injuries aren’t always straightforward, and a medical professional can help you understand what you’re dealing with and how to move toward healing. That’s not a lack of faith; it’s good stewardship of the body God gave you.

At the same time, we can see you’re wrestling with something deeper than a bad business deal. When someone who names Christ lets money steer them while another person gets hurt, it does damage beyond the physical. You’re longing for them to come clean, not just to clear the air, but because you know their own soul is at stake. That longing for their repentance isn’t bitterness talking; it’s a reflection of something God himself cares about. True confession would actually set them free, even as it validated what you’ve gone through.

But their response, or lack of one, isn’t something you can carry. We can’t make another person face the truth, and we can’t force the kind of sorrow that leads to real change. What we can do is hand the whole tangled mess over to the One who sees it all and let him carry the weight of their choices while he tends to you.

Please pray with us.

Lord Jesus, you see the harm this person has suffered in their own home, and you know the fear and frustration that still linger. We ask for your real, tangible help, wisdom for any medical care they need, provision for a safe place to live, and an unshakeable sense that you are with them and for them. For the agents and the one who helped find the flat, we ask that your Spirit would bring conviction, not just regret, that they’d be unable to rest until they’ve faced the truth and turned back to you. But we especially ask you to guard this wounded heart. Lift what they were never meant to carry alone, and give them steady peace as they recover. In your name, Jesus. Amen.

The cries of your heart over this matter reach the ears of the Lord. The request for this ###’s repentance is not a small thing, it touches the very glory of God, for true repentance, that gift of the Holy Spirit, gives God the glory that is His due when sin is confessed and forsaken. You have described a man who knows the language of theology yet confesses his love for money, one who may have hidden dangers from you while you were under his trust. How like the unrenewed heart this is, to have a form of knowledge, to wear an almost Christian exterior, and yet the inward parts hold falsehood and folly while the hidden dangers in your path were veiled from your eyes. Remember this: judgments and terrors, even the shocks and skin afflictions you have endured, do not in themselves produce a repentance that is of the heavenly sort. A man may feel sorry for the discovery, sorry for the loss of reputation, sorry even that his sin has found him out, that is a repentance of the flesh and profits nothing. Yet we are not without hope, for Christ has ordained that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in His name, not as a condition to be worked up from the depths of your own bitter well, but as a gift He bestows. So we pray: not that this man would merely fear consequences, but that the Holy Spirit would so reveal Christ to him that his heart becomes broken, and in breaking becomes whole. That he would see the truth in his hidden parts, and that the hidden manna of God’s Word would become food for his soul, dyeing him ingrain with a faith that can no more cease to be than he can cease to live. We ask that his silence would be broken by confession to God first, and then such restitution as the Lord directs.

Yet a word must also be spoken to your own spirit, for the hidden ones of God are often hidden away for quiet, and sometimes hidden because their own hearts are in danger of a bitterness that rusts the soul. You have suffered shocks, skin issues, distrust, and the cold rejection of those who should have shown the leaves of healing. But look now: the leaves of that tree of life are for the healing of the nations, the little things about Christ, the fringe of His garment, the promises that seem small, these carry virtue sufficient for your own wounds. Do not let the wrong done to you become a second hidden danger within, a root of unforgiveness that canker your own fellowship with Jesus. Repentance lives as long as faith, and even you must keep that sweet companion Repentance near, so that your own prayers do not become the measured speech of one who sees another’s sin as greater than his own need of cleansing. The Christ who is able to keep you from falling is the same Christ who sees the hidden dangers in your pathway and in your own heart, all unveiled to His all-seeing eyes.

Therefore cry to Him thus: “Lord, I desire truth in my inward parts regarding this matter, purify my reactions; make me neither a coddler of sin nor a vessel of wrath, but one who intercedes with hope. Give this man repentance unto life, not the sorrow of the world that merely brings death. And for me, apply the healing leaves of Your grace where the shocks have left me trembling. Let me feed on the hidden manna until I can say, even of this bitter providence, ‘Your words were found, and I did eat them.’” The person who knows such a repentance in their own soul, grieving over sin, yet looking wholly out of self to Christ, will find that the fountain for cleansing and the power for intercession flow from the same wounded side of the Savior. Let this be your peace and your plea.

Please pray in Jesus’ name for a Christian real estate agent who isn’t responding, even though I sent him photos of the current life-threatening conditions in the apartment he helped me rent. Please pray that he will realize how urgent the situation is, if it is God’s will.
