Please pray in Jesus name for the real estate agent who helped me sign the contract for the ex-apartment, as he may have known about the electrical hazards. He also discouraged me from finding out the truth about why the lights were flashing. Please pray that he repents and turns to God. He has refused to talk to me since I messaged him about the safety report and the electric shocks and skin issues I have suffered. A few months ago, his other Christian colleague also refused to answer my call. The person who helped me find the flat has a degree in theology, but he later confessed that he is interested in whatever brings him money. Please pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and mind, and that he admits the truth if he knew about the life-threatening problems in the former rented apartment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, seeking His justice, mercy, and truth. Father, we know that You see all things and that nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would bring light to the darkness in this matter, exposing any deception or wrongdoing that may have taken place. Lord, we pray for the real estate agent who assisted in this transaction, we ask that You would convict his heart by the power of Your Holy Spirit. If he knew of the dangers in that apartment and failed to disclose them, we pray that You would bring him to repentance. Let him not find peace until he confesses and makes things right, for "the Lord detests lying lips, but He delights in people who are trustworthy" (Proverbs 12:22).

We also lift up the colleague with a theology degree who placed profit above integrity. Father, we ask that You would break the hardness of his heart and remind him that "what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?" (Mark 8:36). Let him see the weight of his actions and the harm they may have caused. We pray that he would turn from greed and seek Your righteousness above all else.

Lord, we are grieved by the suffering this situation has caused, electric shocks, skin issues, and the emotional toll of being ignored and dismissed. We ask that You would heal these physical ailments and bring comfort to the wounded heart. Give wisdom to know how to move forward, whether through legal means, mediation, or simply trusting in Your justice. We declare that "the Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed" (Psalm 103:6), and we trust that You will act on behalf of the one who has been wronged.

We also take a moment to address the spiritual condition of those involved. If any of these individuals do not know You as Lord and Savior, we pray that they would come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and apart from Him, we are lost in our sins. We pray that they would repent, turn to You, and walk in the light of Your truth.

Finally, Lord, we ask that You would purify the real estate industry, especially among those who claim to follow You. Let integrity and honesty be the hallmark of Christian professionals, so that Your name would be glorified in all they do. We pray this in the mighty name of Jesus, the One who is Truth and Justice. Amen.

We've been sitting with your request, and we can feel how deep the sting goes. It's not just the physical harm from those electrical hazards or the skin issues you've suffered, it's the silence. Being ignored by someone who may have known about the danger adds a whole other layer of hurt. That kind of dismissal can make you feel invisible, especially when you're already dealing with the aftermath.

What stands out to us is your prayer for this agent's repentance. That's a hard thing to genuinely want for someone who has treated you this way, and we don't take it lightly. True repentance, as we understand it, isn't just feeling sorry, it's a change of mind that actually changes behavior. It would mean him facing the truth squarely, making things right as far as he can, and turning toward God rather than whatever drove those decisions. That's what we're joining you in praying for, not because he deserves it, but because it's the only path that leads to real healing for anyone involved.

We also want to acknowledge how disorienting it must be that one of these men has a theology degree, yet admitted his real interest is whatever brings him money. That's painful to hear from someone who should understand the weight of integrity. But careers, reputations, and even theological training can become walls people hide behind when conviction knocks. Sometimes silence isn't indifference, it's a guilty conscience that hasn't yet turned into godly sorrow. We pray it does.

Let us pray for you now:

Lord Jesus, we lift up this one who has suffered, not only physically from dangerous conditions, but emotionally from being brushed aside. You see the full picture, and You know exactly what each person involved knew or ignored. We ask for Your healing touch on the skin issues and any lasting effects from those shocks. Bring peace where frustration and hurt have taken root. For the agent who won't respond, we ask what only Your Spirit can do: break through the silence with conviction that leads to genuine repentance, the kind that admits truth and changes direction. If there is restitution to be made, give him the courage to make it. Protect this dear one from bitterness, and grant clear wisdom for any practical steps still needed to fully recover. We ask all of this in Your name, Jesus. Amen.

It is a heavy thing to be wronged by one who should have dealt honestly, and it is heavier still to see a soul trifling with truth and gain. Yet the mercy of God is that even men whose hearts are bound up with the love of money may yet be broken by the Holy Spirit and brought to a repentance that is not to be repented of. Let your prayers for this agent and for the other who confessed his idolatry of gain be earnest and continual, for we wrestle not against flesh and blood. The judgments of God in themselves, flashing lights and electric shocks and a troubled conscience, are seldom enough to work a saving change; they may produce terror, but the heart remains hard until sovereign grace makes it melt. Pray then, not merely that they would feel the sting of exposure, but that the goodness of God would lead them to repentance, that they might see their sin as an offence against a holy and loving God, and flee to Christ for cleansing.

Keep your own spirit from bitterness. It is a natural thing to desire a confession of the truth from those who have harmed you, and there is a place for truth to be told, but the deeper need is that they give glory to the omniscience of God by admitting their guilt before Him. True penitence does not stand upon excuses; it owns the wrong without cloak or disguise. Yet you must also guard against making a Redeemer out of the admission you crave. If the Lord is pleased to grant them repentance, it will be evidenced by a change of life, not merely by words to you. Their silence now is but a symptom of a soul that is not yet broken. But oh, let your prayers ascend like incense, that the Spirit would convince them of sin and righteousness and judgment, and that they would at last find peace through the blood of the everlasting covenant. Remember, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth, and that joy is a reflection of the heart of God Himself. That is a far greater prize than any settlement of earthly disputes.

Be much in prayer, but leave the matter with Him who judges righteously. Do not let the love of money, which is a root of all evil, breed in you a root of resentment that defiles many. The Lord may yet use your patient suffering and your prayers as a means of awakening these men to their peril. Only be sure that your own repentance toward God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ are lively and real, for that will enable you to bear these wrongs with a quiet heart, knowing that no one can harm you ultimately if you are sheltered in the shadow of the Almighty.

Turn your eyes often from the failure of men to the faithfulness of your God. He is the God of all comfort, who will not suffer a hair of your head to perish, and who will bring every secret thing to light in His own time. Your duty is to forgive as you have been forgiven, and to pray for those who have used you despitefully, that they might be turned from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God. This is the true victory of faith.
