Beloved of All
Please pray in Jesus name for the real estate agent who helped me sign the contract for the ex-apartment, as he may have known about the electrical hazards. He also discouraged me from finding out the truth about why the lights were flashing. Please pray that he repents and turns to God. He has refused to talk to me since I messaged him about the safety report and the electric shocks and skin issues I have suffered. A few months ago, his other Christian colleague also refused to answer my call. The person who helped me find the flat has a degree in theology, but he later confessed that he is interested in whatever brings him money. Please pray that the Holy Spirit purifies his heart and mind, and that he admits the truth if he knew about the life-threatening problems in the former rented apartment.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this situation in prayer, seeking His justice, mercy, and truth to prevail. Father, we know that You see all things and that nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would bring light to the darkness in this circumstance, exposing any deception or negligence that may have occurred. Your Word tells us in Proverbs 11:1, "A false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight." Lord, we pray that those involved in this matter would be convicted by Your Holy Spirit to walk in integrity and truth, especially those who profess to follow You.

We lift up the real estate agent who assisted in this transaction. Father, if he knew of the electrical hazards and chose to withhold that information or discourage the truth from being revealed, we ask that You would bring deep conviction to his heart. Your Word declares in Luke 8:17, "For nothing is hidden that will not be revealed; nor anything secret that will not be known and come to light." We pray that he would repent and turn to You, seeking forgiveness and restoration. Soften his heart, Lord, and help him to see the gravity of his actions. If he has caused harm, whether knowingly or unknowingly, may he take responsibility and make amends.

We also pray for the colleague who refused to answer the call. Father, we ask that You would stir within him a desire to seek You above all else. If he has compromised his faith for the sake of financial gain, we pray that You would break the hold of greed in his life. Your Word warns us in 1 Timothy 6:10, "For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows." Lord, we ask that You would purify his heart and mind, aligning his priorities with Your will. If he knew of the dangers in that apartment, give him the courage to speak the truth and make things right.

Father, we lift up the one who helped find the apartment, who has a degree in theology yet confessed to prioritizing money over truth. We pray that You would reveal to him the emptiness of chasing worldly gain at the expense of Your principles. Your Word tells us in Matthew 6:24, "No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other; or else he will be devoted to one and despise the other. You can’t serve both God and Mammon." Lord, we ask that You would draw him back to You, reminding him of the calling on his life to serve You wholeheartedly. May he repent of any dishonesty and seek to live in a way that honors You.

We also pray for the one who has suffered from electric shocks and skin issues as a result of this situation. Father, we ask for Your healing and protection over their body. Your Word promises in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Lord, we ask that You would restore their health and bring comfort to their heart. Give them strength and wisdom as they seek justice and resolution in this matter. Surround them with Your peace and assurance that You are their defender.

Lord, we rebuke any spirit of deception, greed, or fear that may be at work in this situation. We declare that Your truth will prevail and that those who have acted unjustly will be held accountable. We pray that all involved would come to know You more deeply, turning away from sin and toward Your light. May Your Holy Spirit move powerfully in their lives, bringing repentance, restoration, and a renewed commitment to walk in righteousness.

We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the One who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. There is no other name by which we can approach You, Father, and no other name by which we can be saved. We trust in Your justice and mercy, knowing that You will bring all things to light in Your perfect timing. Amen.

It’s painful when people who should act with integrity, especially those who name the name of Christ, harm us through neglect or dishonesty. We’re sorry for what you’ve endured, including the physical suffering and the silence that followed. Your longing for the agent to face the truth and turn to God is understandable and, in its own way, merciful. One thing we’ve seen is that real repentance involves more than regret; it moves toward honesty and, where possible, making things right with the person who was harmed. That doesn’t always happen in our timing, but we can pray for a genuine work of the Holy Spirit in his heart, and in the meantime, we can entrust the whole matter to the God who sees everything.

In the middle of that, please don’t neglect your own health. The shocks and skin symptoms you described warrant a doctor’s attention, if you haven’t already sought one. A medical professional can help you understand what’s happening and how to heal; caring for your body is not a sign of weak faith but of wisdom.

Let’s pray together:

Lord Jesus, we bring before You the real estate agent who may have known about these dangers and discouraged the truth. We ask that Your Spirit purify his heart, bring him to honest repentance, and give him the courage to admit what he knows. We also lift up the one who has suffered, grant physical healing, steady peace, and freedom from the weight of this hurt. Surround them with trustworthy people and clear-minded guidance. In Your name, Amen.

How heavy a burden you bring, and how rightly you bring it before the throne of grace. This man’s knowledge of the truth, so close and yet so far, pierces the heart. A degree in theology, and yet he chases after what fattens his purse, this is a sorrowful but common calamity. I fear that judgments alone, even those that threaten the body with perishing, have no power to melt the unregenerate soul. You have seen the flashes and felt the shocks; you have warned him, and now he hides his face. But remember, the Lord does not drive to repentance with a whip of terror only; the sweetest, best repentance comes by the drawing of His goodness. We must pray not merely that he be exposed and humbled, but that the Holy Spirit would purify his heart, that he might see the sin of loving money above his neighbour’s life, and above the Christ who bought him.

True repentance is more than a cowardly sorrow because consequences have found him out. It is to leave the sins he loved before, and to show that he grieves by doing so no more. It gives God glory, and it always runs hand in hand with faith in Jesus. You, then, in your praying, aim at this. Plead the promise that repentance and remission of sins are preached in Christ’s name. Entreat the Lord to give this man practical truth, a repentance that yields works meet for it, an open admission of whatever he knew, a swift setting straight of his dishonest gain. Let your own spirit be kept from vinegar. If he repents, there is joy in heaven, and there should be joy in you. Let no root of bitterness spring up, but remember that the goodness of God has borne with you, and now it must lead you to bear with him, even while you intercede for his soul.

Buy the truth, you have been exhorted. But he has sold it for a mess of pottage. O that the Lord would show him that he must buy truth at any price, and part with all rather than part with integrity! Pray that he may see how near he is to the edge of a fire that no electrician can quench, and that the fear of man which now makes him silent would give way to the fear of God that makes a man bold to confess and forsake. This truth of God’s sovereignty over every man’s way, that not a sparrow falls without the Father, ought to banish our cringing before men and strengthen our faith to do right, come what may. Lay hold upon the throne for this wretched soul. Cry mightily for him, that his repentance may not be the sorrow of a man forced to face the truth, but the godly sorrow that looks up through tears to Christ and finds forgiveness. And if he has refused your voice, remember that there is still a voice that can reach him. Plead the blood that cleanses from all sin, and leave the matter in the hands of the righteous Judge, who alone can give repentance unto life.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

The sickness of the soul you describe in this agent is a grievous one, and the wounds it has inflicted upon your body are a terrible witness to it. The tears you shed in this request are not for a minor fault but for a soul that seems to have sold its care for others for a price. You ask if he might know of the hazards, and you pray for his repentance. This is a right and merciful prayer, for a dreadful punishment awaits those who harden their hearts and build their houses upon the misery of another’s safety. Yet we must remember what true repentance is, lest we be comforted by a false hope. The Apostle tells us of Esau, who “found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.” Why? Because his grief was not a hatred of his sin but a lament for his lost supper of pottage. His tears were of the world, not of God, for he still intended to murder his brother. In the same way, a man may regret losing a client or being exposed, and yet harbor no real sorrow for the life he endangered. Godly sorrow works repentance unto salvation, a turning that produces a new life. Worldly sorrow merely grieves the consequence and leaves the heart unchanged, bringing only death. So you must pray, not just that he admits the truth or his heart is purified, but that the Holy Spirit would pierce him with that godly sorrow, so that he would not just regret the trouble but would loathe the love of money that caused him to see you not as a neighbor but as a transaction.

Your continued prayer for him, even after his silence and the refusal of his colleague, performs a great work. Do not think that prayer is a small thing because you are waiting for action from God. As it is said, if the Lord wills to give, what need of my prayer? But prayer is of great benefit both to them and to yourself. For your intercession draws you closer to the heart of God, who “will have all men to be saved, and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” It wrestles with the demons of greed in another’s soul and keeps your own heart from being poisoned by the bitterness of this injury. When you pray for his repentance, you are doing what no safety inspector can do; you are asking for the very salvation of one who has done you harm. But let your request be sharp and aimed at the true target. Pray that he understands the terror of his position, for to know the good and to turn away for gain is to crucify the Son of God afresh and put Him to an open shame. The man you mentioned with a degree in theology, confessing he is interested in whatever brings him money, has tasted the heavenly gift and the good word of God, and yet has fallen away into a commerce of callousness. The difficulty of renewing such a man to repentance is vast, not because the sacrifice of Christ is too weak, but because the heart that has bartered spiritual knowledge for silver has built a fortress against its own healing. One sacrifice has perfected forever them that are sanctified; there is no other. He does not need a new ritual, but a catastrophic breaking of that fortress, that he might return to the one Cross he has trampled upon.

Your bodily suffering from the shocks and your skin are not just a matter for a lawsuit; they are the visible marks of a profound spiritual violence. The refusal to speak, the ignored calls, these are the actions of a man fleeing, not just from you, but from the face of God who asks, “Where is your brother?” He fears the light because his deeds are evil, and he is unwilling to exchange the comfort of his lie for the painful, life-giving shame of the truth. The Apostle boasts that sorrow produced in the Corinthians a longing for what was right, a clearing of themselves, an indignation against the sin. Your prayer must be for the Spirit to kindle that same indignation in him against his own cold heart. Ask that the memory of your voice, recounting your injuries, does not simply annoy him into greater silence but becomes a goad. If he trembled at the thought of earthly discovery, let him tremble now at the coming judgment. Yet remember that the hope of our salvation does not rest in another’s conduct, but in our own life after the lovingkindness of God. While you pray for him, which I exhort you to do with all fervor, let your own conduct be pure and washed clean from any desire for vengeance. If you feel a stain of hatred, wash it away by these very prayers, by tears, and by works of mercy. Do not let his greed cause you to stumble. Your patient endurance of this suffering, and your continued willingness to seek his salvation, is your comfort and speaks louder than his silence. His path is one of worldly sorrow that only hides; your path, in praying for the one who harmed you, is the path of the Cross itself, which is your truest healing and the only light that can ever pierce his darkness.
