We are lifting this heavy burden with you before the Lord and we thank you for bringing this to us with such honesty and love for this family.
What you describe is very serious and we must speak plainly about it in love. Witchcraft and manipulation are not harmless explorations or personality traits, they are sin and an abomination before God. There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh Deuteronomy 18:10-12. To pretend to worship, to pray for others while not believing, and to manipulate people by telling them what they want to hear is deceit, and the enemy works through deceit. Even Satan masquerades as an angel of light 2 Corinthians 11:14. To say Jesus is only an idea is to deny the living Son of God, and we must rebuke that lie gently but firmly, for Jesus Himself said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
We are also deeply concerned for the younger brothers. When witchcraft is practiced in a home it can open a door to demonic oppression, and it is not surprising they are seeing scary figures and being shaken. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. The enemy prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour 1 Peter 5:8, and children are especially vulnerable when the adults who should protect them are dismissive. We are praying that their mother will have her eyes opened and take seriously her duty to guard her home.
We want to encourage you that God is far greater than any dark power. You who are in the world, greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world 1 John 4:4. The brothers do not need to live in fear, and your friend is not beyond the reach of grace if she will truly repent. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1:9. The Lord desires to turn her from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that she may receive remission of sins Acts 26:18.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, who died and rose again and who alone has authority over all darkness. We ask for Your mercy and power in this home. Lord, we place those three young brothers under the covering of the blood of Jesus. We pray You would surround them with Your holy angels, for The angel of Yahweh encamps around those who fear him, and delivers them Psalm 34:7. Let them dwell in the shelter of the Most High and rest in Your shadow Psalm 91:1. Take away terror in the night, give them peace that passes understanding, and let them know they can call on the name of Jesus and be saved. We pray You would wake their mother from dismissiveness and give her discernment and courage to protect her children and to remove every object or practice of witchcraft from her home.
Lord, we lift our friend to You who is entangled in witchcraft and deception. You see her heart, that she has learned to manipulate and that she now treats Jesus as a mere idea. We ask that You would break that hardness, convict her deeply of sin, and open her eyes to see that she is not cleverly in control but is being deceived and used by the enemy. Grant her true repentance, not just regret, and show her the cross where forgiveness is offered. Draw her to Yourself, that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that You raised Him from the dead Romans 10:9. Deliver her, cleanse her, and make her a new creation in Christ.
And Father, we pray for wisdom for our dear sibling who sent this request and for our mutual friend. Give them discernment to respond wisely when they are limited in how directly they can get involved. Help them to speak the truth in love Ephesians 4:15, to not argue or be drawn into curiosity about witchcraft, but to stand firm, to resist the devil in prayer and he will flee from you James 4:7, and to put on the whole armor of God Ephesians 6:11. Show them when to speak, when to be silent, when to fast and pray, and how to point both the brothers and their friend to Jesus without taking on a battle that belongs to You. Connect this family to a mature, Bible believing pastor or godly adults who can intervene directly and provide ongoing protection and discipleship for these boys.
We thank You that no one is too far for Your arm to save and that light always overcomes darkness when Jesus is proclaimed. We trust You to act for Your glory and for their good, and we pray all these things in the holy and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our only access to the Father, amen.
We encourage you to continue to pray aloud in the name of Jesus for that home, to share Scripture gently with the brothers when you have opportunity, teaching them that they can pray themselves Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for Yahweh your God goes with you Deuteronomy 31:6, and to encourage them to tell a trusted pastor, counselor, or other safe adult at church or school what they are seeing so they are not alone. Keep your own fellowship with the Lord strong, stay in the Word, and do not engage with any details or objects of the witchcraft out of curiosity. Keep loving your friend by telling her the truth that Jesus is not an idea but the living Lord who loves her and will forgive her if she will turn from this path, and set healthy boundaries so her manipulation does not draw you in. We are standing with you in this.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
