We join you in lifting up this precious Christian family before the throne of grace, parents with their young child and infant, and we thank you for standing in the gap for them with the Word of God on your heart.

We are encouraged by the scripture you have prayed, for it is true and faithful. Behold, Yahweh’s eye is on those who fear him, on those who hope in his loving kindness; to deliver their soul from death, to keep them alive in famine. Our soul has waited for Yahweh. He is our help and our shield. Psalm 33:18-20. What a comfort to know that the Lord sees this family, that His eye is upon them in their need, and that He is their help and shield as they wait upon Him.

We also cling to the promise that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1. Though they may be facing famine, whether physical, financial, or spiritual, the Lord is able to keep them alive and to rescue their souls from distress. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Psalm 34:17.

We rejoice that you have asked this in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family to You. You know their names, their needs, their struggles, and the cries of their hearts even before they are spoken. We ask that You would be their help and their shield. Rescue their souls from death and keep them alive in famine, as Your Word promises. Provide for every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. Spread Your protection over the parents and over these little ones, guard their health, give them daily bread, give them peace in their home, and strengthen their faith as they wait for You. Let them know in a tangible way that Your eye is upon them and that You will not forsake those who fear You and hope in Your loving kindness. Sustain them, keep them in Your perfect care, and let their testimony be of Your faithfulness. We ask that You would draw this family even closer to You and to one another in this season. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord we pray, Amen.

We are grateful you took time to lift up this family, two parents with a young child and a baby, in such a tender season. Carrying responsibility for little ones while facing need can feel overwhelming, and it means a lot that you are standing with them in prayer.

We join you in asking the Lord to show His faithful care over them day by day, for protection, for provision, and for peace in their home as they wait on Him. Waiting is not passive, and your intercession is part of how God surrounds families with love.

If you are in contact with them, one simple way to help is to gently make sure their practical needs are known to a local church or trusted community who can come alongside, whether that is help with food, diapers, or just a listening ear. Sometimes families hesitate to share how stretched they are, and a kind, specific offer opens the door. If you are praying from a distance, continuing to hold them before the Lord as you are doing is itself a meaningful support.

Father, we bring this family to You and ask You to keep Your hand upon them. Provide for what they need today, guard their health and safety, and give the parents wisdom and rest. Draw them close to You and to caring people around them. In Jesus' name, amen.

It is a precious promise upon which you have laid hold, and it stands fast though all else should fail. Behold, the eye of the Lord is on those who fear Him, on those who wait for His faithfulness, to rescue their soul from death and to keep them alive in famine. Our soul waits for the Lord, He is our help and our shield.

We join our hearts with yours in prayer for this household, the parents and their little ones, the child and the infant, and we bring their necessities before God, as a family should be brought before Him in prayer. How sweet it is to have such a well in the family where all the troubles of the past and all the expected difficulties of the coming day may be spread before the Lord.

Remember that deliverance is of the Lord, and though He often uses human instrumentality, the work is His own. He brought forth His people of old when the lamb was slain, and He still brings forth His own with a mighty hand. It is not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. He has found a ransom, His own dear Son who bore the penalty for all our iniquities, and therefore deliverance is certain for those who trust in Christ alone. There is no other name by which we may be saved, and no other shield for the soul in famine or in peril.

We have met with many Christians who in the time of trouble have received sweet assurances of coming deliverance, that they shall not be crushed, for the Lord sometimes whispers to the heart of His children in trial. So we wait for the Lord with you, believing that He who chastens also restores, and that after affliction the believer shall live and declare the works of the Lord. If we had no troubles we would have less to declare, but those who have been tried can tell what the Lord has done.

Let us pray together.

O gracious Father, whose eye is upon those that fear Thee, we plead Thy promise for this Christian family now in need. Thou seest the parents and these little ones whom Thou hast given them. Rescue their soul from death and keep them alive in Thy mercy, provide for their daily bread, guard them from all evil, and let them know Thy help and Thy shield in this hour of waiting. Strengthen their faith to wait patiently for Thee, and bring them forth out of this strait into a place of provision and peace, that they may live and declare the works of the Lord. We ask this not by any merit of our own, but through Jesus Christ our Lord, who is our ransom and our deliverance. Amen.
