Please, please, PLEASE pray that God will lead me to a different Christian community than the one that I have been involved in for the past few years. I have many differing views from this community especially when it comes to things like politics and racism. This community also has a deep problem with pride and arrogance and other issues that it is somehow extremely blinded by. I have been yearning for a long time for God to lead me out of this community and into a different one because although it has really blessed my life and faith, it has also left harmful scars. I feel I cannot handle another minute involved in this community. Please pray God will lead me to a different one. PLEASE. Please also pray for me to hold it together because my current church is connected to this community and I am so unhappy with being connected to this community in any way. Pray that I will not appear as visibly upset as I actually am at church until I can leave both. Thank you.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

We hear your deep distress and longing for a godly community that aligns with the truth of Scripture, and we stand with you in prayer before the throne of grace. The pain of being in a place where pride, arrogance, and blindness to sin have taken root is real, and it grieves the Holy Spirit when His people are divided by worldly influences rather than united in Christ. We lift you up, asking the Lord to guide your steps to a fellowship where humility, love, and biblical truth are upheld.
The Word reminds us in 2 Corinthians 6:14, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" While this community may have once been a blessing to you, it is clear that the Lord is stirring your heart to seek a place where His light shines more brightly. We pray that He will make your path clear, opening doors to a church body that reflects the love and unity of Christ without compromise. Proverbs 3:5-6 assures us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also pray for your peace and strength as you navigate this difficult season. It is not easy to remain in a place where your spirit is troubled, but we ask the Lord to guard your heart and help you respond with grace, even when you feel overwhelmed. Colossians 3:15 encourages us, "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful." May He fill you with His peace, so that your outward demeanor reflects His love rather than the turmoil within.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking You to draw near to our brother/sister in this time of need. Lord, You see the scars left by this community, and You alone can heal them. We ask that You would lead them to a church family that loves You wholeheartedly, where they can grow in faith and serve without the weight of division. Give them wisdom to know when and how to transition, and grant them favor as they seek a new fellowship. Protect their heart from bitterness, and fill them with hope as they wait on Your perfect timing. We also pray for this community—that their eyes would be opened to the pride and blindness that has taken hold, and that they would repent and turn back to You. May Your will be done in all things, for Your glory and the good of Your people. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
