Please kindly pray for the male voice choir of which I am Conductor. The numbers of this once thriving choir have steadily fallen since the covid years and despite being thankful for some very young men in it, we are at our lowest mrmbership. Please pray for growth. Very importantly, please pray for ###, a very key member who took a break from it over 2 years ago and hasn't returned. He was a real motivator and without him, the choir hasn't seemed the same. We LONG to see him return. Please stand in faith and prayer with me for a wonderful breakthrough anx turnaround in these situations. Amen and my sincere thanks.

We join you in prayer and thank God for your faithful service as conductor of this male voice choir and for your heart to see it thrive again. We understand the discouragement of watching numbers fall since the covid years and reaching the lowest membership, and we also understand how much you miss this key brother who has been away for over two years and how different the fellowship feels without his encouragement and motivation. We stand with you in faith for a wonderful breakthrough and turnaround.

We are reminded that singing together is a gift from God and a way to encourage one another and give Him glory. Psalm 100:1-2 says Shout for joy to Yahweh, all you lands. Serve Yahweh with gladness. Come before his presence with singing. And Colossians 3:16 says Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom teaching and admonishing one another with psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your heart to the Lord. We also remember Hebrews 10:25 which encourages us not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another. The Lord sees your faithfulness and the fellowship you offer, including the young men He has already added, and He is able to build and restore in His timing.

We notice your request closes with Amen but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why we always pray in His name. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only through Him that we are saved. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. If we have not already done so, we are called to believe in our hearts that Jesus died for our sins and rose again and confess Him as Lord. Romans 10:9 says that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. It is in His name we pray with confidence.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for this choir, for every voice You have gathered, young and old, and for the conductor You have appointed to lead and shepherd them. Lord we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. We pray for growth and renewal, that You would draw new men with willing hearts to join and that You would strengthen and encourage those who remain. We pray You would use their singing not only for beautiful music but for Your glory, to build fellowship, to encourage the community, and to lift up Your name. We pray especially for this dear brother and key member who has been away for so long. You know his heart and his circumstances, and we ask that You would work in his life, restore his love for the fellowship, remove any hindrance or weariness, and if it is Your will, gently lead him back to the choir where he was such a motivator and blessing. We pray for a true turnaround, that what has felt like decline would become a testimony of Your faithfulness and provision. Give our brother who leads continued strength, vision, and joy as he serves, and help him to trust You with the numbers while remaining faithful to the work You have given him. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.

We encourage you to keep lifting this choir before the Lord with thanksgiving for those faithful young men and for every open door He provides. Continue to invite, to welcome, and to keep the focus on worship and fellowship that honors God, trusting that Philippians 1:6 is true, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ. The Lord is able to do more than we ask or think, and we trust Him for His perfect timing for both new growth and the return of your friend.

Thank you for sharing this with us. We can hear how much this choir means to you, and the weight you feel watching numbers fall since covid while still being grateful for the young men who have joined. It is discouraging to lead something you love and feel it getting smaller, even as you keep showing up faithfully.

We also hear how much you miss ###. Two years is a long time to feel that gap, especially when someone was such a motivator and the sound and spirit have not felt the same without him. It makes sense you long for his return.

We are standing with you in prayer for a real turnaround, for growth and for renewed encouragement in the group.

One gentle next step that may help is to reach out to ### personally apart from the choir invitation, simply to let him know what his presence meant to you and to the men, with no pressure to return. A short note or a coffee can keep the door open and let him know he is still valued, whatever his reasons for stepping away. At the same time, continuing to warmly affirm the young men who are there now helps build the culture that draws others in.

Father, in Jesus' name we lift this conductor and this choir to you. Bring encouragement to each singer, provide for growth in your timing, and work in ###'s heart according to your will. Give our brother wisdom and peace as he leads. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. We join you in prayer before the throne of grace for this burden which you have laid open. Your care for the male voice choir and your longing to see it flourish again is heard, and we stand with you to seek the Lord for a gracious turnaround.

We understand the heaviness of seeing numbers fallen since the covid years, and of feeling that the work has lost something of its former strength. Be not discouraged. If a revival be true and real, it is caused by the Holy Spirit, and by Him alone. When religion revives in truth, the minister begins to be warmed and the people are moved, not by mere excitement, but by the presence of God. In vain shall we struggle after revival unless we have His presence. Let us first avow our desire to walk with God in this effort, for God is absolute monarch of the hearts of men, and He can in a moment turn the tide and bring extraordinary conversions and growth where there has been decline. What is taught to us by a revival is Divine Omnipotence, that the Lord can do what our planning and labour cannot.

For your friend ###, who has been so key a member and whose absence these two years has left the choir not the same, we pray especially that the Lord will work in his heart. We hear your cry, Return, return, that we may look upon thee, and we echo it in prayer, not as the world cries return from holy zeal to worldliness, but as the Lord Himself cries to His own, Return, return, return. It is Mercy that calls, not condemnation, and that same Mercy would gladly restore and use him again if it be the Lord's will. We pray that if there be any hindrance, any evil way or weariness that keeps him back, the Lord would graciously overcome it, and that he may be drawn back with a willing heart to take his place again among you as a motivator and brother in the work.

Above all we would point you to the Friend who sticketh closer than a brother. There is a Friend, blessed forever be His name, who loves at all times, even before there was any time. That Friend is Jesus, the Friend of sinners, born into this world that He might succor us in our adversities. He gave His heart's blood and let His soul run out for His people, and such a Friend never can and never will forsake you. Whether the choir be many or few, whether ### returns speedily or tarries, you have a Friend in heaven's court, and He will not leave the work which is done for His glory.

Let us pray together. O Lord our God, Thou who art the giver of all good gifts, look in mercy upon this choir and upon its conductor. Let Thy presence be known in the midst of it. Warm the hearts of those who remain, and add to their number such as Thou wouldst have to sing Thy praise. Put it into the heart of ### to return if it be according to Thy good purpose, and make him again a help and encouragement to his brethren. Let this not be a mere excitement without reality, but a true work of Thy Spirit for Thy glory. Hear our prayer for a wonderful breakthrough, and let all be done to the praise of Jesus Christ our Lord, through whom alone is salvation. Amen.
