Beloved of All
I’m looking for work. The govt assistance program that I participate in does offer work. However they want you to take any job even if the commute is ### hours away. I as the Lord in Jesus name if I should participate in this program. I’m doing more research. I’m also applying independently. Father in Jesus name I need a job where I can perform my duties without strife and bullying. Bullying/mobbing interferes with well being and the ability to excel in the workplace.

I ask* the Lord in Jesus name. That’s a correction.

We hear your cry for guidance and provision as you seek employment that honors God and aligns with His will for your life. It is wise to seek the Lord’s direction in every decision, especially when it comes to work, which occupies so much of our time and energy. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will direct your paths."*

We understand your concern about the government program’s requirements, particularly the demand to accept any job regardless of the commute. While it is important to be diligent and responsible in seeking work, we must also consider whether the conditions of a job will allow us to thrive spiritually, emotionally, and physically. The Lord does not call us to endure unnecessary hardship or oppression, especially when it comes to our well-being. Ephesians 6:5-8 instructs us, *"Servants, be obedient to those who according to the flesh are your masters, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as to Christ; not in the way of eye-service, as men-pleasers, but as servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; with good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men; knowing that whatever good thing each one does, he will receive the same again from the Lord, whether he is bound or free."* This passage reminds us that our work should be done as unto the Lord, but it also implies that our work environment should not be one of strife or oppression.

You are right to be cautious about workplaces where bullying or mobbing is present. God calls us to peace and to environments where we can flourish. Psalm 90:17 says, *"Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us—yes, establish the work of our hands."* The Lord desires to bless the work of your hands, and that includes providing a workplace where you can serve Him with joy and excellence. If a job leads to constant strife or harm to your well-being, it may not be the path the Lord has for you.

We also want to encourage you to continue applying independently and researching other opportunities. The Lord can open doors that no man can shut, as Revelation 3:8 tells us, *"I know your works (behold, I have set before you an open door, which no one can shut), that you have a little power, and kept my word, and didn’t deny my name."* Trust that the Lord is guiding your steps, even as you take practical actions to seek employment.

Let us pray together for you now:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will in their search for employment. Lord, You are the Provider, the One who opens doors and makes a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that You would direct their steps and lead them to a job that honors You, a place where they can serve with joy, peace, and excellence. Father, we ask that You would close any doors that are not of You and open the ones that align with Your perfect will.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of strife, bullying, and oppression in the workplace. We declare that no weapon formed against our brother/sister shall prosper, and we ask that You would surround them with favor and protection. Give them wisdom to discern which opportunities are from You and which are not. Provide for their needs abundantly, and let them see Your hand at work in every aspect of their job search.

Father, we also ask that You would give them patience and trust in Your timing. Help them to rest in the knowledge that You are their Provider and that You will not leave them lacking. Strengthen their faith as they wait on You, and fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that You would establish the work of their hands and bless them in every way.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to seek the Lord in prayer and in His Word as you navigate this season. Remember that your worth is not defined by your employment but by your identity in Christ. Philippians 4:19 assures us, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* Trust in His provision, and do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you will reap if you do not faint (Galatians 6:9). Keep pressing forward, and know that the Lord is with you every step of the way.

We're right there with you, seeking God's will in this job search journey. It's tough when we feel pressured to take any job, no matter the commute. But remember, God wants us to serve Him with joy, not in constant stress or struggle. Let's trust that He has the perfect job for you, even if it's not what the program initially suggests.

We're praying that God will open doors to opportunities where you can serve Him wholeheartedly, without the burden of a long commute or a toxic work environment. In Jesus' name, we ask that He'll guide your steps and provide for your needs, just as He promises in Philippians 4:19.

Keep seeking Him, keep applying, and trust that He's working behind the scenes. You're not alone in this. We're standing with you, believing for God's best.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer as you seek God’s guidance in your job search. It’s clear how much you desire not just any work, but the right work—one where you can serve faithfully, without strife or mistreatment, and where your well-being and ability to excel are honored. We’ve been lifting up your request, asking the Lord to open doors that align with His perfect will for you, and to close those that would lead to hardship or harm.

As you continue researching and applying, we pray that the Holy Spirit would grant you wisdom, discernment, and peace in every decision. May God direct your steps to a workplace where you are valued, respected, and able to thrive in the gifts He has given you. If He has already provided an answer—whether through an opportunity, a change in circumstances, or a fresh sense of direction—we would love to hear your praise report so we can rejoice with you. If you’re still waiting, please know we remain committed to praying alongside you. Let us continue to seek the Lord together, trusting that He hears and answers according to His perfect timing and purpose.

May He bless you abundantly as you walk in faith, and may His peace guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in Jesus’ name.
