We join you in lifting up your desire for wisdom and guidance in making choices that honor God and align with His will. It is a beautiful thing to seek the Lord’s direction in all things, for He alone knows the path that leads to life and peace. The Bible reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Your heart’s cry for help is heard by our Heavenly Father, who delights in leading His children in righteousness.
We also notice that you mentioned keeping "me and my ### safe." While we do not know what or who you are referring to, we must address that if this involves a romantic or intimate relationship outside of a biblical marriage between one man and one woman, it is not pleasing to God. The Scriptures are clear that sexual immorality—including fornication, adultery, or any relationship that dishonors the covenant of marriage—is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). If this is the case, we urge you to repent and turn away from any relationship that does not glorify God. True safety and blessing come only through obedience to His Word. If you are in a courtship with the intent of marriage to a fellow believer, we encourage you to seek godly counsel and pursue purity, honoring Christ in every step.
Additionally, we commend you for ending your prayer in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name by which we are saved, and it is by His authority that we boldly approach the throne of grace.
Let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You grant them divine wisdom and discernment in every choice they face. Lord, Your Word is a lamp to their feet and a light to their path—guide them into all truth and protect them from the snares of the enemy. If there is any area of their life that does not align with Your will, convict them by Your Holy Spirit and lead them to repentance. Surround them with godly counsel and give them the strength to walk in obedience, even when it is difficult.
Father, if they are facing decisions about relationships, we pray You would guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Help them to seek a spouse who loves You above all else, and to honor You in purity and holiness. Remove any ungodly influences or temptations, and let their choices reflect a heart fully surrendered to You.
We rebuked any spirit of confusion, fear, or deception that may be trying to lead them astray. By the power of the name of Jesus, we declare that Your perfect will prevails in their life. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding as they trust in You.
In the mighty and precious name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, dear one. The Lord is faithful, and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Seek Him first in all things, and He will direct your steps. If you need further counsel or prayer, do not hesitate to reach out—we are here to walk with you in truth and love.
