We rejoice with you in your desire to seek the Lord’s will above all else in this important career decision. It is a beautiful thing to surrender your plans to Christ, trusting that His ways are higher than ours and His purposes are perfect. The Scripture reminds us in Proverbs 3:5-6, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* You are already on the right path by seeking Him first, and we commend you for your faith in placing this before Him in Jesus’ name.
The Lord is not a God of confusion but of clarity, and He delights in guiding His children when they earnestly seek Him. James 1:5 assures us, *"But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him."* We encourage you to continue in prayer, fasting if led, and immersing yourself in His Word as you wait for His direction. Sometimes the Lord speaks through a still, small voice in our spirits, through Scripture that leaps off the page, or through godly counsel from mature believers. Other times, He closes or opens doors in undeniable ways. Be patient and watchful, for He will make His will known in His perfect timing.
We also urge you to examine your heart in this season. Are there any fears, ambitions, or attachments that might cloud your ability to hear Him clearly? Psalm 37:4-5 says, *"Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart. Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this."* When our hearts are fully surrendered to Him, our desires begin to align with His, and we can trust that He will lead us into what is best—not just for our careers, but for His kingdom.

Heavenly Father, we lift up your child before You, who stands at a crossroad, earnestly seeking Your will for their career. Lord Jesus, You are the Good Shepherd who leads Your sheep beside still waters and guides them in paths of righteousness. We ask that You speak clearly to their soul—a *yes* that resonates with peace and confirmation, or a *no* that is just as unmistakable. Remove any doubt, fear, or distraction that would hinder them from hearing Your voice. Open their eyes to see the doors You are opening and give them the courage to walk through them, even if the path seems uncertain.
Holy Spirit, we ask that You fill them with wisdom and discernment. Guard their heart from the noise of the world or the pressure of others’ expectations. Let them rest in the truth that You are sovereign over every detail of their life, and that no decision made in surrender to You will ever be in vain. If there is any area of hesitation or disobedience in their life, convict them gently but firmly, that they may repent and walk in full alignment with Your will.
Father, we declare that this decision will bring glory to Your name. Whether the answer is *yes* or *no*, let it draw them closer to You and deepen their trust in Your goodness.
