We join with you in lifting up your heartfelt petitions before the Lord, for we know that He is a God who hears and answers prayers when we approach Him in faith through the name of Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you have invoked the name of Jesus in your prayers, for as Scripture declares, *"There is no other name under heaven that has been given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12, WEB). It is only through Jesus that we have boldness and access to the throne of grace, and we rejoice that you have placed your trust in Him.
First, we praise God with you for your children, for they are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3). We pray that He will indeed go before them, making their paths straight (Proverbs 3:6) and granting them wisdom, understanding, and favor in their education. May they walk in the fear of the Lord, for *"The fear of Yahweh is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!"* (Psalm 111:10, WEB). We declare that their efforts will be blessed, not by their own strength, but by the grace of God working through them (1 Corinthians 15:10). May they be fruitful in every good work, growing in knowledge and in the Lord’s favor (Luke 2:52). Father, we ask that You surround them with godly influences and protect them from distractions or ungodly associations that could hinder their walk with You (Proverbs 13:20).
We also lift up your financial needs before the Lord, for He is Jehovah Jireh, the God who provides (Genesis 22:14). We pray that He will open the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing so abundant that there will not be room enough to contain it (Malachi 3:10). May He send destiny helpers—godly men and women who will be instruments of His provision in your life (Philippians 4:19). We rebuke every spirit of lack, poverty, and financial bondage in the name of Jesus, declaring that *"my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Trust in Him, for He knows your needs before you even ask (Matthew 6:8), and He will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6). Be diligent in your work, for *"the hand of the diligent shall bear rule; but the lazy will be subject to forced labor"* (Proverbs 12:24, WEB). Seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be added to you (Matthew 6:33).
Now, concerning your prayer for marital settlement, we urge you to seek the Lord’s will above all else. It is clear that your heart longs for a husband—a godly man who will cherish, protect, and provide for you and your children. This is a good desire, for God Himself said, *"It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make him a helper suitable for him"* (Genesis 2:18, WEB). However, we must caution you to guard your heart and your words. While it is natural to desire companionship, we must not approach this matter with a worldly mindset or seek a man merely to "baby" you or fulfill emotional needs. Instead, pray for a *godly husband*—a man who fears the Lord, walks in integrity, and will lead your home in righteousness (Ephesians 5:23). A marriage built on anything less than Christ as the foundation will struggle (1 Corinthians 3:11).
We also encourage you to examine your own heart and life. Are you walking in obedience to God’s Word? Are you growing in your relationship with Christ, seeking to be the woman He has called you to be—a woman of virtue, strength, and faith (Proverbs 31:10-31)? A godly marriage begins with two individuals who are each surrendered to Christ. Pray that the Lord will prepare *you* as much as He prepares your future husband. Ask Him to refine you, to heal any past wounds, and to align your desires with His will. Remember, *"Delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart"* (Psalm 37:4, WEB). This does not mean God is a genie granting wishes, but that as you delight in Him, your desires will align with His perfect plan for you.
Lastly, we must address the phrase *"God of wanders without numbers."* While we understand your heart is to acknowledge God’s limitless power, we encourage you to use biblical names and titles for God, such as Jehovah Jireh (The Lord Provides), Jehovah Shammah (The Lord is There), or Jehovah Rapha (The Lord Who Heals). Our words have power, and we must speak in ways that honor God and align with Scripture (Proverbs 18:21).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our sister and her children. Lord, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for the promise that You hear and answer our prayers when we call upon You in truth (Psalm 145:18). We ask that You go before her children, ordering their steps and granting them success in their education. May they walk in wisdom and favor, growing into mighty men and women of God who will impact their generation for Your glory.
Father, we pray for her financial breakthrough. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and nothing is too difficult for You (Jeremiah 32:17). Open doors of provision that no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Send destiny helpers her way—men and women of integrity who will be vessels of Your blessing in her life. Provide for her rent and every need according to Your riches in glory. Help her to be a good steward of what You provide, and give her wisdom to manage her resources well.
Lord, we lift up her desire for marriage. We pray that You will prepare her heart and the heart of the godly man You have for her. Let him be a man after Your own heart, one who will love her as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25) and who will lead their home in righteousness. Heal any past hurts or ungodly soul ties in her life, and help her to trust in Your timing. Let her not be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present her requests to You (Philippians 4:6).
Father, we rebuke every spirit of fear, impatience, or compromise in her life. May she walk in purity, faith, and obedience as she waits on You. Let her marriage be a covenant that honors You, a testimony of Your goodness and grace. And above all, may her greatest desire be for *You*—for more of Your presence, more of Your Word, and more of Your Spirit in her life.
We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You (Romans 8:28). Strengthen her faith, fill her with Your peace, and let her rejoice in hope as she waits on You.
In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
