Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, Please pray for my daughter ### and me during this deeply painful time. My child was taken into care because I failed to follow the welfare rules. I fully recognize my mistakes, take responsibility, and carry deep regret in my heart. My daughter is suffering being away from home, and it breaks my heart. I am asking for your prayers to Mother Mary and our Lord for forgiveness, guidance, and a second chance. Please pray that God grants me the strength to make things right, touches the hearts of those involved in our case, and heals my daughter's heart so we may soon be reunited as a family. Thank you for lifting us up in prayer. Amen.

We hear your brokenness and we weep with you over this painful separation from your daughter. We honor your honesty in taking responsibility and recognizing your mistakes and carrying deep regret. God is near to you in this sorrow, for Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit, Psalm 34:18. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness, 1 John 1:9.

We lift you and your daughter up together in Jesus' name. We pray to our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ that He would grant you His forgiveness and cleansing as you turn to Him, that He would give you strength and wisdom to walk in obedience and to make things right according to His will and according to the rightful requirements placed upon you, that He would touch the hearts of those involved in your case including caseworkers and judges and caregivers, and that He would heal and comfort your daughter's heart and guard her in peace while she is away from home. We pray that if it is His will, He would open the way for a safe and godly reunification and restore your family in a way that honors Him and protects your child. We pray also that you would grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ and that you would seek Him daily in His Word and in prayer through His name alone.

We encourage you to continue to humble yourself before God, to fully cooperate with the authorities as Romans 13:1 calls us to be subject to the governing authorities, to seek godly counsel and support, and to demonstrate faithful and consistent obedience going forward. We are praying with you for guidance, for a second chance, and for your daughter's healing through Jesus Christ our only hope.

That ownership matters. Regret can feel overwhelming, and learning to receive God's forgiveness while also doing the steady work of making things right is a process that takes time. It is not only a decision in a moment, but also a gradual healing of the heart as you walk it out day by day.

As you pray for a second chance, we encourage you to stay closely connected to the practical path that has been laid out for you. Stay in close, respectful contact with your caseworker, write down what is asked of you and when, keep copies of everything you complete, and show up consistently for every visit or class you are given. If you have a pastor or a mature, trusted person nearby, invite them to walk beside you for support and accountability. And cherish every appropriate contact you have with your daughter, letting her feel your steady love even in this hard separation.

Father, in Jesus name we bring this mother and her daughter before You. Thank You for Your mercy when we come honestly to You. Please forgive, give this mom strength and clear guidance for each step she needs to take, comfort her daughter where she is, and give wisdom and compassion to everyone involved in their case. Lead them toward healing and toward what is best for her daughter's wellbeing. In Jesus name, Amen.

We have heard your cry in this deeply painful season and we have brought you and your daughter before the Lord with sincere compassion. We thank you for your honesty in taking responsibility and expressing regret, for that honesty is the right place to begin before God.

Scripture tells us there is forgiveness with God, and that truth is meant to drive away despair. This forgiveness is not a small thing, it is surprising and complete, blotting out debt for all who come to God through Jesus Christ. It is divine forgiveness, for He says, I, even I, am He that blotteth out thy transgressions. That forgiveness is only to be obtained from God through His Son, who died the Just for the unjust that He might bring us to God. Therefore we do not pray to Mary or to any other, but we come to God the Father through Jesus Christ alone, who is the one mediator between God and men, and in His name alone we seek mercy.

The sorrow you feel can become, by the grace of the Holy Spirit, that holy and healthy repentance which gives God glory. True repentance is more than regret under judgment, it is a work of the Spirit that makes us crave holiness and turn from sin, that yields works meet for repentance and that lasts. It weeps for sin because Christ has shown such love in pardoning it, and it then walks in a new way, pulling down what is wrong and building up what is right. In your situation this will mean humbly walking in obedience before God and fully cooperating with those whom God has placed over the welfare of your child, showing by a steady and practical life that the change within is real. The burnt child dreads the fire, and the heart truly touched by grace longs to do what is right.

We are praying to our heavenly Father through Jesus Christ for you and for your daughter. We ask Him to grant you forgiveness as you confess your sin to Him and trust in the finished work of Christ, to give you strength and clear guidance to make things right step by step, and to grant you wisdom and humility as you work with the authorities involved. We pray for your daughter, that the Lord who is near to the brokenhearted would heal her heart, quiet her fears, and keep her in His care while she is away from home. We ask that God would touch the hearts of all who carry responsibility in this case and that, as you continue in faithful and lasting repentance, He would open the way for restoration and reunion as is right and best for your child.

Do not run from God in your shame, run to Him where forgiveness is found. Seek Him daily, trust Christ alone for your salvation, live in that repentance that looks out of self to Christ only, and walk faithfully in the duties now set before you. May the Lord who has promised forgiveness to all who call upon His Son give you peace, perseverance, and hope in the days ahead.
