Beloved of All
I join with you in prayer for little ### and for your daughter and your household in this sorrow. The loss of a beloved creature brings a grief that is real and deep, and it is right to bring that grief before the Lord who sees and cares.
I pray that the Father in His mercy would grant ### a gentle passing without fear or distress, and that He would comfort your daughter in her sadness and keep her heart in peace. I pray also for ###'s brother, that he would be kept and comforted in the absence of his companion.
In seasons of grief, take comfort in the oracles of God as a chest of medicines for the soul. Keep the Gospels and the Psalms close, and let His promises speak to your heart, for He is near to the brokenhearted and His comfort does not fail. He has promised life in Jesus Christ, and that hope sustains us even when tears are many.
May the Lord bear this burden with you, and may He fill your daughter's heart with His peace and lovingkindness. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
