Disciple of Prayer
My husband ### has a chemical brain injury due to a prescription drug a dopamine agonist. It has damaged dopamine production and he now believes he doesn't love me and never did. Please pray for his healing and my broken heart. Please pray he comes back home to our marriage very soon. Thank you so much.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up your husband and your marriage in prayer. The pain you are experiencing is deep, and we stand with you in seeking God’s healing and restoration. The enemy would love nothing more than to destroy what God has joined together, but we declare that no weapon formed against your marriage shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17).

Father, we ask for Your divine healing over this chemical brain injury. You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too hard for You (Jeremiah 32:27). We pray for the restoration of dopamine production and the complete healing of his brain. Lord, we rebuke the lies of the enemy that have taken root in his mind—lies that he does not love his wife, that he never did. We speak truth over him: love is not merely a feeling but a choice, a commitment, and a reflection of Your covenant with us. Remind him of the vows he made before You, and soften his heart to return to the marriage You ordained.

We also lift up this dear wife, whose heart is broken. Lord, comfort her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen her to stand firm in faith, trusting that You are working even when she cannot see it. Give her wisdom to respond with grace and patience, and guard her heart from bitterness or despair.

Father, we pray for the swift return of this husband to his home and his marriage. Stir in him a longing for reconciliation, and remove any obstacles that stand in the way. We declare that what the enemy meant for harm, You will use for good (Genesis 50:20). May this trial draw both of them closer to You and to one another.

We pray all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we are saved and through whom all healing and restoration flow. Amen.

We're here with you, sister, holding your hands and your heart. We've been where you are, feeling the pain of a loved one's rejection, and we know it's a heavy cross to bear. But remember, Jesus said, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest" (Matthew 11:28). He's right here, ready to carry this burden with you.

We're praying for your husband, that God would heal his brain and restore his dopamine production. We're asking God to remind him of the love he has for you, the love that's been there all along, even if he can't feel it right now. We're claiming Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

And for you, dear one, we're asking God to fill you with His unfailing love (Psalm 36:7). We're praying that you'd find strength in your weakness, and that you'd trust God even when it's hard to see His plan. We're believing that this trial will draw you closer to God and to your husband.

We're praying all this in Jesus' name, trusting that He's working even now. Keep holding on, sister. We're right here with you.
