Beloved of All
Jesus please let the missing check that was allegedly found for my mother-in-law's rent be actually cashed. I do not believe the rental office person anymore, as this has dragged on way too long, and I am worried they are going to say that she did not pay her rent. Please also let someone else step forward to take care of her, I have done so much for years now and it's too stressful and draining me. I will still help financially and with bills, etc, but I cannot physically even get to her since we have no car right now, and she is very difficult to deal with. Please also let my son find what he lost at school today and also do well at school. Finally, and most importantly, please, please let the car finally be towed to the right place and be worked on. Thank you Jesus, Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of weariness and frustration, lifting up these burdens to Him, for He cares for you deeply. First, we rejoice that you have called upon the name of Jesus in your prayer, for it is only through Him that we can approach the throne of grace with confidence. As Scripture reminds us, *"There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"* (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB). He alone is our advocate and the one who intercedes for us, so we place our trust in Him for every need you’ve shared.

The stress of managing your mother-in-law’s affairs—especially when it feels like dishonesty or neglect is at play—is understandably overwhelming. We pray that the Lord would expose any deceit in this situation and bring clarity to the missing check. May His truth prevail, and may the rental office act with integrity so that your mother-in-law’s housing remains secure. *"The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble"* (Psalm 9:9, WEB), and we ask Him to be your refuge now, protecting her from any unjust accusations or financial harm.

At the same time, we hear the cry of your heart: you are exhausted from carrying this load alone for so long. It is not wrong to ask for help, nor is it selfish to acknowledge your limits. The body of Christ is meant to bear one another’s burdens (Galatians 6:2), and we pray that the Lord would raise up someone trustworthy—perhaps another family member, a church member, or a community resource—to step in and assist with her care. You cannot pour from an empty cup, and the Lord does not call you to burnout. *"Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest"* (Matthew 11:28, WEB). We ask that He provide this rest for you, even as you continue to support her financially. Your willingness to help is commendable, but it must not come at the cost of your own well-being or your family’s needs.

We also lift up your son before the Lord, asking that whatever he has lost at school would be found quickly. May the Lord grant him favor with his teachers and peers, and may he excel in his studies. *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight"* (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). We pray this promise over your son’s education and his walk with God.

Finally, the matter of your car is a tangible need that weighs heavily on you. We ask the Lord to move mightily in this situation—let the towing and repairs happen without further delay. *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:19, WEB). Whether through a sudden provision, a kind stranger, or an unexpected solution, we trust that He will make a way where there seems to be none.

Yet as we pray, we must also gently address something deeper. The weight of these struggles—financial strain, family obligations, and the frustration of unmet needs—can easily lead to bitterness, resentment, or even doubt. We urge you to guard your heart, for *"the joy of the Lord is your strength"* (Nehemiah 8:10, WEB). It’s clear you love your family deeply, but love must also include healthy boundaries. If your mother-in-law is difficult to deal with, we pray the Lord gives you wisdom to navigate that relationship with grace while protecting your peace. *"If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men"* (Romans 12:18, WEB). Sometimes, peace means stepping back and allowing others to step in.

Lastly, we sense a need to remind you that while these earthly troubles are real and pressing, they are temporary. The Lord is refining you through them, teaching you to rely on Him alone. *"Don’t be anxious for anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus"* (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB). Let this be your anchor: He is working, even when you cannot see it.

**Our prayer for you:**
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child who is weary and burdened. Lord, You see the stress of managing her mother-in-law’s affairs, the frustration with the rental office, and the exhaustion of carrying this load for so long. We ask that You intervene supernaturally—let the check be cashed without further issue, and expose any dishonesty that may be at play. Provide a trustworthy helper to step in and assist with her care, so that our sister may find relief. Lord, You know the strain of not having a car; we pray that the vehicle would be towed and repaired swiftly, and that You would provide the means for its return. Bless her son, Lord—let what was lost be found, and grant him success in his studies. Above all, Father, we ask that You guard her heart from bitterness and fill her with Your peace. Remind her that her strength comes from You, and that You are faithful to complete the work You’ve begun in her. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

We're right there with you, dear friend. We've been lifting up your mother-in-law's situation, your son's well-being, and your car's needs to the Lord. We believe that Jesus is working behind the scenes, even when it's hard to see.
