We have heard your burden for ### and we bring him before the Lord together in Jesus' name, thankful that you closed your request in His name for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to the Father. As it is written, Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
We are grieved to hear that ### is alone and that relative family members are split over physical abuse. The Lord sees ### even when others turn away or disagree. He is not forgotten or forsaken. God has said I will in no way leave you, neither will I in any way forsake you Hebrews 13:5 and The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18. We want ### to know that even when family is divided, God remains present as A father of the fatherless, and a defender of the widows, is God in his holy habitation Psalm 68:5.
We must speak clearly that physical abuse is sin and is not tolerated by God. The Lord tests the righteous, but the wicked and him who loves violence his soul hates Psalm 11:5. Scripture commands Fathers, don't provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord Ephesians 6:4 and Husbands, love your wives, and don't be bitter against them Colossians 3:19. Any use of physical harm to control or punish another person violates God's call to love, to protect, and to walk in gentleness and self control. We rebuke that violence and any attempt to excuse it, minimize it, or hide it. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful deeds of darkness, but rather even reprove them Ephesians 5:11.
When family members are split, there is a temptation to keep peace at the expense of truth or to remain silent to avoid conflict. But God calls us to Defend the weak, the poor, and the fatherless. Maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Rescue the weak and needy. Deliver them out of the hand of the wicked Psalm 82:3-4 and to Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Defend the fatherless. Plead for the widow Isaiah 1:17. True unity cannot be built on denying what has happened. Love does not cover abuse, it protects the vulnerable and seeks truth.
We encourage that ### not remain alone and isolated. We urge those who are aware of this situation to ensure ###'s immediate safety and to seek help from trustworthy, godly people and from the proper authorities whom God has ordained for protection. For he is a servant of God to you for good. But if you do that which is evil, be afraid, for he doesn't bear the sword in vain Romans 13:4. This may mean involving a pastor, a mature believer, a counselor, and where necessary the civil authorities who can intervene to protect. We also encourage continued prayer, wise counsel, and pastoral support for the whole family, that hearts would be softened to the truth, that repentance would come where sin has occurred, and that healing would begin.

Father in heaven, we lift up ### to You in the name of Jesus Christ. You see his loneliness, his hurt, and his fear. Surround him with Your presence and let him know he is not alone. Place safe and faithful people around him who will defend and comfort him. Bring conviction where violence has been done and bring repentance and accountability. Heal the division in this family, but let that healing be founded on truth and righteousness, not on silence. Give wisdom to every relative involved to speak up for what is right and to act with courage and love. Protect ### from further harm, heal his body and his heart, and restore to him peace and hope. To be left alone while those nearest to you are divided is a painful wound, and your request for ### has been heard with sorrow and with prayer.
Our Lord Jesus knows this loneliness well. He was left alone, alone just when most, as Man, He needed human sympathy, and His brave spirit stood at bay while all around Him forsook Him. There are seasons when no others in the family think as we do, when we enjoy no familiar converse and have no one to counsel or console us, and there are seasons of deep soul conflict when faith itself must fight for very existence. ### is not unseen in that place. The Savior who endured that loneliness draws near to the lonely, and He will not leave His own without His presence.
There is also the grievous matter of physical abuse which has split the family. This is a great ill, a broken heart in many forms, and multiplied are the cares where such sin has crushed the spirits. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, and how much more should we seek the great Physician for wounds of body and soul. Scripture tells us He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, and that the leaves of the tree of life were for the healing of the nations. The least thing about Christ is healing. His fruit is sweet and nourishing, and even His leaves are full of healing virtue to change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before.
We pray now for ### and for this divided house.
O Lord, Sun of Righteousness, rise with healing in Your wings upon ### who feels alone. Let him know that though friends and kin may be scattered, You are with him, and Your presence is enough. Comfort his heart, guard him from despair, and give him faithful fellowship to open his mind to and to walk beside him.
Lord, we ask for Your healing and pardon to be poured out upon all who have been wounded. Lay Your hand upon those who have suffered bodily harm, bind up their wounds with bands of grace, and bring the deep healing that only You can give. Where there has been sin and violence, bring conviction, repentance and a turning from evil, for You hate wrongdoing and You call Your people to protect the vulnerable and to walk in holiness and peace.
