Charles is in ICU in Louisiana, unresponsive with many ailments. Please pray for his mind, body and spirit to be healed and uplifted. Please ask God to guide those giving him care. And for Charles to know how much he is loved, needed and missed by many people, that he has blessings coming that he has been fighting years for, he has much to live for. Thank you. God bless.

Thank you all so very much for your prayers and uplifting words!

I have a praise report to share, as well as an updated prayer request.

We are so thankful for what God has done in this matter. Charles is now awake and able to talk, his infection appears to be gone (due to his COPD the lung scans are still white/congested), his kidney looks healthy, he is able to breathe on his own and he is able to sit up and stand with help. He has come this far in only 7 days, which is remarkable! He has some memory issues, which may or may not be temporary; we hope this is due to his body and mind being mostly at rest for almost a month now. He is not yet able to swallow, so the feeding tube remains in place. Charles needs physical therapy and to be in a rehabilitation center when the time is right. Unfortunately, the hospital is starting paperwork to move him to a nursing home instead of a rehab center. Because his body is weak, his medicaid will not pay for rehab since he can't, as of Sunday, complete "3 hours of therapy". Sending him to a nursing home means he will lay in a bed and deteriorate, undoing all the progress he has made in such a sort time. We don't believe this is God's will for Charles. Please continue to lift Charles up in prayer. God bless!

May God meet your needs, encourage your heart, and fulfill all His plans for You and all those you love and care about. May God keep you; make His face shine on you and be gracious to you. May He lift up His countenance upon you and give you great peace in Jesus’ name. Keep your focus on God, Trust Him, Be A Doer of the Word of God, and Stay Prayerful.

Let’s Pray: God I ask in Jesus’ name, “Lay Your Hands Upon Me. Bless me in every area of my life that I stand in need to be blessed. Bless me with the spirit, attitude, and wisdom of Joshua. That same spirit of obedience to You, faith in You and Your Word, trusting You, and courage in spite of the spirit of fear trying to conquer him that Joshua had let it rest upon me and within me. Bless me with the spirit and the heart of Joshua. Bless me with that spirit of excellence. God as You were with Joshua Lord please be with me. Let Your presence always dwell with me. God all that I have asked of You in this prayer do the same for the writer of this prayer and all those I love and care about.
