We stand with you in this time of chaos and injustice, lifting our voices together in prayer and declaring the sovereignty of our Lord. You are right to acknowledge that trials refine us, for Scripture tells us in James 1:2-4, "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing." The Lord is indeed victorious, and we take comfort in knowing that He is the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings, as Revelation 17:14 declares, "These will war against the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings. They also will overcome who are with him, called and chosen and faithful."
We join you in praying Psalm 59:2, "Deliver me from the workers of iniquity. Save me from the bloodthirsty men." The Lord hears the cries of His children, and He is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We pray that the Lord would indeed overcome the evil with good, as Romans 12:21 instructs us, "Don’t be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." May the Lord bless and protect all the righteous and chosen ones, covering them with the precious blood of Jesus, which speaks better things than that of Abel (Hebrews 12:24).
We also lift up the situation with the team members of the rented apartment, asking that the Lord would intervene and bring about a resolution that honors Him. We pray that any ungodly behavior or schemes would be exposed and that the Lord would bring about repentance and restoration. We declare that no weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against you in judgment, you shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, acknowledging that it is only through Him that we have access to You. We thank You for Your mercies and love, which are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Lord, we ask for Your deliverance from the evil and wicked schemes that surround us. We declare that You have promised us a mighty salvation, and we claim that promise now. We pray that You would bring peace and order to the chaos, and that Your justice would prevail. We ask that You would protect and bless Your children, covering them with Your precious blood and surrounding them with Your angels.
Lord, we also pray for those who are perpetrating evil and injustice. We ask that You would soften their hearts and bring them to repentance. We pray that they would come to know You and experience the transforming power of Your love and grace. We declare that the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it (John 1:5).
We stand on Your promises, Lord, and we declare that You are our refuge and strength. We trust in You, knowing that You are working all things together for our good (Romans 8:28). We pray for Your will to be done on earth as it is in heaven, and we ask that You would use us as instruments of Your peace and justice. In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
