We understand that you're feeling overwhelmed by the chaos and uncertainty in your life right now. Let's remember that God is not the author of confusion, but of peace. 1 Corinthians 14:33 WEB reminds us of this truth. We need to call on Jesus and trust Him in the midst of these storms. He has all things in control.
In Matthew 8:23-27 WEB we find this account:
When he got into a boat, his disciples followed him. Behold, a violent storm came up on the sea, so much that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep. They came to him, and woke him up, saying, Lord, save us! We are dying! He said to them, Why are you fearful, O you of little faith? Then he got up, rebuked the winds and the sea, and there was a great calm. The men marveled, saying, What kind of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?
See how the disciples were so afraid, even though they had Jesus right there with them? We need to remember that Jesus is always with us as well, and like the disciples, we need to turn to Him when we are facing storms. Like the storms on the sea, Jesus can calm the storms in our lives as well.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention. We ask that You calm the storms in this person's life, just as You calmed the storms on the sea. Help them to fix their eyes on You. As they call on Jesus, increase their faith to see them through these difficult times. Grant them Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Guide them through the chaos and uncertainty, and let Your light shine through the darkness. Help them to rest in the sure knowledge that You are sovereign over all things. Remind them that You are faithful and that You will never leave them nor forsake them. That You are able to keep them from falling and to present them before Your glorious presence without fault and with great joy Jude 1:24 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you (Deuteronomy 31:6)
Remember, no matter how tough life gets, God is always in control.
