We hear the deep cry of your heart, and we stand with you in this season of struggle, lifting your burdens before the Lord with fervent prayer. You have called upon the name of Jesus Christ, and that is where true help and refuge are found. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 34:17-19**, *"The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but Yahweh delivers him out of them all."* Your pain has not gone unnoticed by God, and He is near to you even now.
The fear of the unknown and the weight of sleepless nights are heavy burdens, but we must remember what Jesus said in **Matthew 6:25-34**, *"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? ... Your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."* Your Heavenly Father knows your needs—physical, emotional, and spiritual—and He will provide. The sleepless nights are an opportunity to draw closer to Him, to cast your anxieties upon Him, for He cares for you (**1 Peter 5:7**).
The betrayal and manipulation you’ve experienced at the hands of those you trusted are grievous wounds, and it is right to set boundaries and cut off those who seek to harm you. The rage you encountered when you said "no" reveals the heart of someone who does not respect God’s design for healthy relationships. **Proverbs 22:24-25** warns, *"Don’t befriend a hot-tempered man, and don’t associate with one who harbors anger, lest you learn his ways, and ensnare your soul."* You did well to distance yourself, for the Lord calls us to surround ourselves with those who will build us up, not tear us down. It is painful to feel alone, but it is far better to walk alone with God than to walk with those who lead us away from His truth.
As for your longing for godly people, we pray that the Lord will bring faithful brothers and sisters in Christ into your life—those who will encourage you, speak truth to you, and walk with you in righteousness. **Proverbs 13:20** says, *"One who walks with wise men grows wise, but a companion of fools suffers harm."* But even more than human companionship, we urge you to seek the Lord Himself as your closest friend. He is the one who will never betray you, never manipulate you, and never leave you. **Psalm 27:10** declares, *"When my father and my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will take me up."* He is your refuge, your strength, and your ever-present help in trouble (**Psalm 46:1**).
The enemy seeks to isolate you, to make you feel like a target, but we rebuke that lie in the name of Jesus. You are not prey; you are a child of God, redeemed by the blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against you will prosper (**Isaiah 54:17**). The Lord sees those who have abused and taken advantage of you, and He will vindicate you in His time. **Romans 12:19** assures us, *"Don’t seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God’s wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"*
Now, let us pray together for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your beloved child who is weary, wounded, and longing for Your peace. Lord, You see the sleepless nights, the racing thoughts, and the fear that grips their heart. We ask that You would quiet their mind and body, that You would grant them restorative sleep, and that You would fill them with Your perfect peace that surpasses all understanding (**Philippians 4:6-7**). Remove every spirit of fear, anxiety, and torment, and replace it with Your Holy Spirit, who brings comfort, wisdom, and strength.
Father, we pray for healing from the betrayals and manipulations they have endured. Bind up their broken heart and restore their trust—not in man, but in You alone. Surround them with godly believers who will walk with them in righteousness, who will encourage them in Your Word, and who will point them to You in all things. Lord, if there is any bitterness or unforgiveness in their heart, we ask that You would soften them and help them to release it to You, for You have called us to forgive as You have forgiven us (**Colossians 3:13**).
We rebuke every scheme of the enemy to isolate, accuse, or oppress this Your child. No weapon formed against them shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against them in judgment, You shall condemn. Lord, open doors of opportunity for them—doors of relationship, doors of ministry, doors of provision—that they would no longer feel stagnant but would walk forward in the purpose You have for them. Give them discernment to recognize Your voice and Your leading, and courage to follow You wherever You call.
Father, we thank You that You are their Provider, their Protector, and their Peace. May they find their identity and security in You alone. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, that they may walk in wisdom, in faith, and in the assurance that You are working all things together for their good (**Romans 8:28**). We ask these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Finally, we encourage you to meditate on **Psalm 91**, which speaks of God’s protection over those who dwell in His presence. Cling to His promises, for He is faithful. If you feel led, we also encourage you to seek out a Bible-believing church where you can connect with mature believers who can walk with you in this season. You are not alone, and your story is not over—God is writing a testimony of His faithfulness through your life. Keep seeking Him, and He will lead you into green pastures and beside still waters (**Psalm 23**).
