Jesus was in the center of the procession [as he was riding on the donkey into Jerusalem], and the people all around him were shouting,
"Praise God!
Blessings on the one who comes in the name of the Lord!
Blessings on the coming Kingdom of our ancestor David!
Praise God in highest heaven!"

Mark 11:9-10 NLT

Key Thought

In the center of all of our worship, we will find Jesus. He is God who has come among us to reveal the Father's grace and truth. He is the one who pours out the Spirit, and the Spirit fills us when we praise. His sacrifice and victory over death are at the center of our forgiveness and our victorious future. Jesus, Christ our Lord, is the center.

Today's Prayer

O Father, thank you for your grace lavished on me through your Son. Thank you for revealing yourself so fully, so intimately, so humanly, in Jesus. Open my eyes and help me see what I need to do to have your Son be the center of my life. In the name of Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.
