We thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer during this difficult time.
We have been lifting you up before the Lord, especially for those night hours when fear and anxiety have kept you awake and caused that bad feeling in your stomach. We have been praying for the Lord to calm your heart and mind and to replace your fear with His perfect peace, and we have also been praying for your children, for their health and their safety and their well being, asking God to keep them in His care and to guard them day and night. We are reminded of the promise in 1 Pet 5:7 to cast all our anxiety on Him because He cares for us, and of Phil 4:6 and Phil 4:7 that as we bring our requests to God His peace will guard our hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and of Psalm 4:8 that He alone makes us dwell in safety and gives us rest.
We continue to pray for you that God will quiet your anxious thoughts, ease the distress you feel, and help you to rest in Him through the night, trusting that your children are held securely in His hands. In Jesus Name we pray for the Lord to fill you with His comfort and strength and to let you feel His presence and protection over you and your family.
