We understand your concern for your cats while you are away longer than expected and we join with you in bringing them before the Lord. It is a good and righteous thing to care for the animals God has entrusted to us, for as it is written, A righteous man respects the life of his animal Proverbs 12:10, and Yahweh, you preserve man and animal Psalm 36:6. Even when we cannot watch over them ourselves, we can trust the One who never slumbers and who sees every sparrow, for not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will Matthew 10:29.
We also hear the anxiety in not having the security camera on and not being able to see what they are doing, and we want to encourage you to cast that worry on the Lord. We are reminded, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7, and to be casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. He cares for you and He cares for your household, including your pets.
We lift up this prayer together in Jesus name.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we thank You for Your care over all creation. We ask for Your hand of protection over these beloved cats while their owner is away. Keep them safe from harm, from distress, and from any danger in the home. Calm them and keep them at peace until their owner returns. Grant safe travels and a timely return home, and guard the home itself. We also ask that You quiet the anxious heart of their owner with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and help them to rest in Your faithful watch. We ask all this in the name of Jesus, amen.
We also want to gently share that we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to remind you that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by trusting in Jesus Christ, His death and resurrection for our sins, that we can come boldly to God in prayer with assurance that He hears us. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Him.
We pray you will be reunited with your cats soon in peace and find them safe and well, and we trust the Lord to keep them until then.

We know that tug of worry when you are away longer than you planned and you cannot check in on your cats. They are family and it is natural to want to know they are safe and settled. It is hard to be stuck wondering and not being able to see what is happening at home.
Most cats do well for a few extra hours at home when they have food, water and a familiar safe space, even with the camera off. Try not to let the worry push you to rush home unsafely. Getting back calmly is the best care for both you and them.
If it would ease your mind and you have someone nearby you trust, a quick text to ask them to listen at the door or peek in can help. If not, it is okay to let this be a quiet waiting time. A small step for next time, like a phone reminder to turn the camera on as you leave, can make future outings feel calmer.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Your tender care for the creatures committed to your charge is itself a reflection of that mercy which regards even the smallest of God's creatures, for the righteous man regardeth the life of his beast and the Lord's providence watches over all that He has made.
It is natural that you should feel a measure of uneasiness while you are kept away longer than you had looked for, and without that eye of the camera to see their condition. Yet remember that though your eye cannot reach them, His eye never leaves them. You cannot be present in the house, but He who is everywhere present keeps watch there still. The same God who is able to keep you from falling is able also to keep in safety all that you in love have left behind.
Let not your heart be dismayed. The word which has comforted many an anxious soul still rings true, Fear thou not, for I am with thee, be not dismayed, for I am thy God. Cast this care also upon Him, for He careth for you, and not for you only but for all that belongs to your stewardship.
We will pray with you to that end.
O Lord our God, Thou who art our Keeper and our strong tower, we thank Thee that Thou art present in every place. Look in mercy upon these creatures now left alone, and preserve them from harm and fear until their keeper shall return. Calm the anxious heart that waits at a distance, and give peace in remembering that Thou watchest when we cannot watch. Bring this loved one home in safety and in due time, and let all be found well, to Thy praise. Keep us all under the shadow of Thy wing, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
