We hear your cry for rest and rejuvenation, and we lift your need before the Lord who neither slumbers nor sleeps. The Word tells us in Psalm 127:2, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, to eat the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." We declare that the Lord, who gives sleep to His beloved, will grant you the deep, refreshing rest your body and spirit require.
Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would quiet every disturbance and still every noise that seeks to rob this precious child of Yours from the rest You have ordained. We rebuke the spirit of restlessness and sleeplessness in Jesus' name, and we command every hindrance to peace and quiet to flee. Lord, we ask that You would grant uninterrupted, rejuvenating sleep from this moment forward, that their body may be restored and their mind refreshed. Let no noise, no distraction, no anxiety steal away the rest You have prepared for them.
We also lift up their physical health, Lord. We pray against digestive issues, especially gastritis, and declare healing over their body according to Your Word in 3 John 1:2, "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." We speak healing to every part of their digestive system and declare that their body will function as You designed it to. We also pray against high blood pressure and any strain on their heart, asking that You would regulate their blood pressure and bring it into perfect balance. We declare clarity of vision, both physically and spiritually, and rebuke any fogginess or blurriness that seeks to cloud their sight.
Lord, we ask that You fill this day and the entire year ahead with Your joy, peace, and blessing. May they walk in the fullness of Your presence, experiencing the abundant life that Jesus came to give (John 10:10). We declare that this year will be a year of health, happiness, and divine favor as they seek You and align their life with Your will.
We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6). Rest in the assurance that God is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).
Heavenly Father, we thank You for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your promise to never leave nor forsake us. May Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard their heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). We pray all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we are saved and have access to You. Amen.
