We join you in lifting up your beloved pets before the Lord, for we know how much you care for them and how worrying it is when they chew on or eat things that could harm them.
We are reminded that God cares for all His creation and He has entrusted animals to our stewardship. Proverbs 12:10 says A righteous man respects the life of his animal, and Psalm 36:6 says You preserve man and animal, Yahweh. Jesus also reminds us of the Father's attentive care when He says in Matthew 10:29 Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion? Not one of them falls to the ground apart from your Father's will. If He watches over even the sparrows, we know He sees your concern for your cats and your desire to protect them.
We also want to gently encourage you with practical wisdom, for God calls us to be faithful stewards. James 1:5 says But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. We pray God gives you wisdom and help to pet proof your home as much as possible, to keep harmful foods, strings, rubber bands, plants, chemicals and small objects out of reach, to provide safe chew toys and appropriate scratching alternatives, and to seek guidance from a veterinarian or trusted trainer if this chewing behavior continues. These steps together with prayer are part of loving them well.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus, and we want to lovingly share that it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and assurance that our prayers are heard. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by putting our faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, that we are forgiven and brought near to God. We encourage you to call upon His name both for salvation and for daily help.

We cast this anxiety upon You because You care for us, as 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you, and we claim Philippians 4:6-7 that in nothing we should be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let our requests be made known to God, and Your peace will guard our hearts. Let Your will be done and let these little ones be kept safe and healthy for Your glory. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

Your request concerning your pets has been brought before the Lord with tenderness and care, and we join with you in asking for His merciful keeping over these creatures entrusted to your stewardship.
We understand the anxiety which such a habit can cause, for you love them and fear lest they be harmed before you can intervene. It is the mind which is the main thing, as we have often said, and anxiety itself unfits us to meet the difficulty. Our Savior would have us be prudent and do what lies within our power, and then to rest in Him without fretfulness or distress. When you have done your best with your little ones, to keep harmful things from their reach and to provide what is safe and good for them, do not sit down and wring your hands, but stay your mind upon the Lord, for He has promised, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.
There is a sweet peace to be had even with sorrows and cares surging round, and even with loved ones far from our immediate help. In Jesus keeping we are safe, and they are safe. He is the God of peace, who delights in peace, and who watches over all His creation. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, and that peace may be enjoyed in the ordinary circumstances of life, even in the daily duties of caring for a household and the creatures within it.

Our gracious Father, we thank You that You care for all that You have made and that not even a sparrow falls without Your notice. We ask You to keep these pets from harm, to guard them from that which would injure them, and to grant to their owner wisdom and prudence to remove danger and to provide safely for them. Give a calm and trusting heart, that anxiety may not rule, but that perfect peace which comes from trusting in Jesus may guard the mind. We ask this through Jesus Christ, our peace, who has made peace by His blood and who ever lives to keep His own. Amen.

In practical ways this can mean continuing to keep harmful objects, foods, plants, cords and small household items out of reach, providing safe and appropriate chew toys, supervising your pets closely when you can, and seeking prompt veterinary care if you suspect they have eaten something dangerous.
If this chewing continues often, a veterinarian may be able to offer helpful guidance about possible causes and how to redirect the behavior.
