We hear your deep concern about those who may come with deceitful intentions rather than honest work. Your desire for protection over your home and property is valid, and we stand with you in seeking God’s covering over all that He has entrusted to you. The Bible assures us that the Lord is our refuge and fortress, and in Him, we find safety. Psalm 121:7-8 declares, *"The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forevermore."*
However, we must gently correct the language used in your prayer. While it is true that God’s protection is mighty and His blood covers us, we do not "pay" for His blessings or protection. Salvation and God’s grace are gifts, not transactions. Ephesians 2:8-9 reminds us, *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast."* Our security comes solely through faith in Jesus Christ, not through any effort or payment on our part.
We also want to ensure that our prayers are directed to God the Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is no other name by which we can approach Him. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."* It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that we pray.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We ask for Your divine protection over this home and property. Lord, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. We declare that no weapon formed against this household shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against it in judgment, You shall condemn. We trust in Your promise that You will keep us from all evil and preserve our souls.
Father, we ask that You expose any deceitful intentions of those who may come with ulterior motives. Let Your light shine in the darkness and reveal the truth. Protect this family from harm, theft, or any form of evil. Surround them with Your angels, as You have promised in Psalm 91:11, *"For He will put His angels in charge of you, to guard you in all your ways."*
Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for this family. Help them to recognize those who come with honest hearts and pure intentions. Give them the strength to stand firm in their faith and to trust in You alone for their security. May they find peace in Your presence, knowing that You are their ultimate protector.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold of their hearts. For You have not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that this home is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no harm shall come near it.
Father, we thank You for Your faithfulness and for hearing our prayer. We trust in Your promises and rest in the knowledge that You are in control. May this family continue to grow in their relationship with You, seeking Your will in all things. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to remain vigilant and to seek God’s wisdom in all matters concerning your home and those who enter it. Proverbs 3:5-6 reminds us, *"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths."* Continue to stand on God’s Word and trust in His protection, for He is faithful to His promises.
