Careful what you pray 4-Chris lost his job!

As I have prayed for and others have prayed for during the last few months, my husband Chris was fired today. After returning from his last trip of the year, he was released.

Lord I pray to you tonight that you will surround my husband's spirit with your love, grace, and mercy. Lord you know what you have planned for him. You know where his heart is. Soften his heart and bring him closer to you. I lift him up, I forgive him for his sins, and I pray that you will allow him to know and feel the love that you have for him and that I support him during this difficult time. But Lord I also pray that you have greater work in mind for him, and that you are showing him that the environment he was in is not about glorifying YOU.

Lord provide opportunities for him that are worthy of You and that provide an environment for him that give him the support, financial freedom, an environment focused on You and one that he can thrive and be productive in. Lord, do not allow him to flounder and sink to a low that he cannot get out of. Protect his heart and spirit and allow him to feel your guidance in every step of his journey.

Lord thank you for keeping me safe, comforted, and calm. Help me to be the support that my family needs during this time. Help me to keep our daughters focused on their love for their dad and help me to maintain a good attitude regarding the upcoming wedding and help me to not be judgemental, selfish, and angry when Chris decides to spend time out-of-state with his family for Thanksgiving. I know this is what he needs and I hope that it will do him good. Help me to not feel slighted when he goes without us, for I know that is what he will want to do. Help me to understand his needs and that you are still working on him. I know you are!!!

Thank you Lord for our blessings and for being my rock, my support, my focus.

Heavenly father, i am in agreement with Lisa's prayer. I pray that you minister to Chris and Lisa at this time. Please guide them during this time. Lord, through you, everyting is possible. Lisa has given it all to you, how wonderful that is, bless Lisa for for faith. Father you are so beautiful. Lisa knows you are with her every moment. Please protect her heart during the time Chris is away at Thanksgiving. I pray that you will be with Chris at every moment. In Jesus Name, amen
