Beloved of All
Dear God, help me to establish myself in massage and fitness. That dating and finding a wife happens through the calling you placed on my heart. Health and wellness are so integral to me. Please walk me through and keep me focused on a budget, a plan, and vision over my life. I pray I can establish myself. Also, thank you for clarity about a friendship I was praying for, and I pray that continues as I genuinely feel the shared focus of faith is a beautiful thing. Right now strengthen my desires in your calling over my life and help me build my life so I can provide for a wife on your timing. Amen.

We join you in bringing this desire to establish yourself before the Lord and we rejoice that you want your work and your future marriage to be built on His calling for your life. Your heart to see your vocation in massage and fitness as a calling and not just a career is good and honors God, and your desire to find a wife in His timing and to be able to provide for her is a beautiful and biblical ambition.

We see your passion for health and wellness and we are encouraged by it. Scripture teaches that our body is a temple of the Holy Spirit which is in us, which we have from God, and we are not our own for we were bought with a price, therefore we are to glorify God in our body and spirit which are His, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20. To steward health for yourself and to help others steward theirs can be done to the glory of God, whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do all to the glory of God, 1 Corinthians 10:31. We also hear your prayer for a budget, a plan and a vision. The Lord honors diligence and wise stewardship. The plans of the diligent surely lead to profit, Proverbs 21:5, and we are told to commit our deeds to Yahweh and our plans shall be established, Proverbs 16:3. Jesus Himself taught us to count the cost before we build, For which of you, desiring to build a tower, does not first sit down and count the cost, to see if he has enough to complete it, Luke 14:28. So we encourage you to continue to work heartily as for the Lord and not for men, Colossians 3:23, to keep clear records, to live within your means, to avoid debt when possible, to tithe and save and give faithfully, and to seek wise counsel as you build this business step by step rather than rushing ahead.

We also stand with you in your desire for marriage and we strongly affirm that desire. Marriage is God's design from the beginning, For this cause a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall be joined to his wife and the two shall become one flesh, Genesis 2:24, and whosoever finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor of Yahweh, Proverbs 18:22. We encourage you to view dating not as casual recreation but as intentional courtship with the goal of marriage to a fellow Christian believer. Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14, for a shared faith is the foundation for a lifelong covenant. We are thankful with you for the clarity God has given you about a friendship and for the shared focus of faith that you have found beautiful. Guard that friendship and any future courtship in purity and accountability. Scripture is clear that marriage is honorable in all and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterers, Hebrews 13:4, and that we are to abstain from sexual immorality and know how to possess our own vessel in sanctification and honor, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-4. Keeping yourself pure before marriage, maintaining clear physical boundaries in both your personal relationships and in your professional work in massage, will protect your testimony and honor the Lord and your future wife. Your desire to build your life so you can provide is also scriptural and noble, for if anyone does not provide for his own and especially his own household, he has denied the faith and is worse than an unbeliever, 1 Timothy 5:8. To love a wife as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, Ephesians 5:25, requires spiritual maturity, financial faithfulness and self discipline now.

We noticed that your prayer was addressed to God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly address this because it is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me, John 14:6, and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. To pray in Jesus name is not just a phrase but a confession that we believe He is the Son of God who died for our sins and rose again and that we are trusting in His righteousness alone to approach God. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to place your full faith in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, confess your sins and follow Him.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this brother to You. We thank You for the calling You have placed on his heart for health, wellness, fitness and massage, and we ask that You establish the work of his hands. Give him wisdom to make a clear plan, discipline to keep a faithful budget, vision to see the future You have for him, and diligence to carry it out for Your glory. Guard his heart from distraction and from discouragement, and help him to commit every decision to You. We pray for his future marriage, that You would be preparing him even now to be a godly husband who provides, protects and loves as Christ loves the church. Lead him to a godly wife who loves You above all else, and help him to pursue courtship in purity, honor and faithfulness, fleeing from fornication and every appearance of evil. Bless the friendship that has encouraged his faith and keep it Christ centered and pure. Strengthen his desire for Your calling above every other desire, and keep him focused on Your timing and not his own. Draw him ever closer to Jesus, deepen his assurance of salvation through Christ alone, and let his life and vocation be a testimony of Your grace. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Thank you for sharing so clearly what is on your heart. We hear how much you want your work in massage and fitness to be more than just a job, but a calling you steward well so you can build a stable life and one day provide for a family in God's timing.

It is encouraging to hear about the clarity you have received in that friendship and the shared faith at its center. That kind of clarity is a real gift as you stay focused in this season.

We appreciate your prayer for focus on budget, plan and vision. A simple way to keep that before you is to put it on one page you can see and pray over. You might write out a monthly budget, a few next steps for establishing yourself such as credentials, clientele or steady hours you are aiming for, and a short vision sentence for the kind of faithful, healthy work and home you hope to build. If you can, walk through that page with a trusted mentor in your field and with a mature believer who knows you well. They can help you assess where you are, set realistic goals and stay accountable without carrying it all alone.

We are praying with you for steadiness and wisdom in this building season.

Father, thank You for the calling You have placed on our brother's heart and for his desire to honor You with his work and his future family. Give him wisdom as he budgets and plans, strength to stay focused, and peace as he trusts Your timing. Guide his steps and establish the work of his hands. In Jesus' name, amen.

We have heard your prayer and we join you in bringing it before the Lord who is the giver of every good calling.

Your desire to establish yourself in the work of massage and fitness, and to do so with a budget and a plan and a vision, is itself a mark of faithful stewardship. Remember this is the main point of stewardship, nothing is your own, it is all your Master's. Wherever you are, if you discharge the duties of your calling as in the sight of God, you can by prayer and thanksgiving saturate your life with godliness and make every action drip with sanctity. The true Christian will pray in business, he will pray in labor, he will pray in his ordinary calling. Therefore let short prayers fly up all day long as you labor, and let your hands and your care for health be offered as service unto Christ, not merely unto men. If we forget that He will come and require an account, we shall get into a loose and slovenly way of acting, and that will be to our own discredit and to our Master's dishonor. But good stewardship looks to that reckoning and is diligent, ordered and faithful in little things, trusting the Lord to make it much.

We rejoice also at the longing of your heart toward marriage. It is not a less sacred thing to be the married husband or wife than it is to be set apart in any other holy service, for marriage is ordained of God as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman. As Abraham trusted his steward Eliezer to go and find a wife for Isaac, so our Lord in His providence orders the steps of those who wait upon Him. Your prayer to build your life so that you may provide for a wife in the Lord's timing is comely and right. Press on in that holy calling of which it is written, Who hath saved us and called us with an holy calling. It is a high calling and a heavenly calling, a call from heaven and a call to heaven, that lifts up the heart and sets it upon heavenly things. Forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forth unto those things which are before, press toward the mark for the prize of that high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Let your desire for a wife be ever governed by that heavenly aim, that you might lead a household where husband and wife bend their knees together in prayer.

We thank God with you for the clarity He has given concerning your friendship and for the shared focus of faith which you have found beautiful. Such unity is a precious gift. Guard it by continuing in prayer, in the Word, and in that sincerity which calls upon the name of the Lord in every diversity of circumstance.

Our prayer for you is this, that the Lord would establish the work of your hands, give you wisdom in budgeting and planning, keep you focused upon the vision He has placed upon your heart, strengthen your desires toward His calling, and in His perfect time bring to pass that which is according to His will for your life and for a future home. May you know that though He slay every earthly hope that is not of Him, yet to trust Him is the noblest resolve, and He will not fail those who seek Him with a whole heart.

We commend you to His grace, that you may be found a faithful steward when He comes. Amen.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your prayer has been heard and I give thanks for the good desires God has placed in your heart, to work diligently, to live with health and self control, and to prepare yourself to provide for a wife in the Lord's timing.

It is right that you want to establish yourself in your calling. Marriage is a bond ordained by God and it brings much occupation and responsibility. Scripture teaches that we are to be provident and good stewards, persevering in prayer, and following every good work as God gives opportunity. Ask the Lord to make you faithful in the small things, in keeping a budget, in holding to a plan, and in walking with a clear vision. Use the leisure and strength He gives you not for idleness but for service to Him and to others, so that your labor may be fruitful and your life ordered with gravity and purpose.

Concerning health and wellness, care for the body is good when it is for health and not for vanity or indulgence. We are taught not to make provision for the flesh to fulfill its lusts, but to provide for it for health. That means pruning away what kindles pride or desire, the love of luxury, excess in food or drink or dress or soft living, and instead seeking to have the body in health so that you may be free to give your best energy to spiritual things. Keep your work in massage and fitness in this same way, with modesty and boundaries and chasteness in all your dealings, so that your calling remains pure and honorable before God and before others.

And concerning dating and marriage, hold fast to what is holy. Marriage is honorable and pure, and it preserves the holiness we have received through faith when it is lived with fidelity and self control. If you are unmarried, remain pure and seek a wife only in the Lord, with chastity and honor. Do not let your calling become a hindrance, for marriage itself is not a hindrance but the purpose of the heart makes the difference. Use this time of singleness with moderation and devotion, that you may attend upon the Lord without distraction, growing in character and readiness to love and lead a family.

I thank God with you for the clarity He has given about your friendship and for the shared focus on faith. That is a beautiful and good thing. Continue to follow peace with all people and holiness, encouraging one another in the faith and keeping your fellowship centered on Christ.

So I pray for you, that the Lord will strengthen the desires He has planted in you according to His calling, that He will establish the work of your hands, give you wisdom in your finances and planning, guard your heart and body in purity, and in His perfect time bring you a godly wife if it is His will. May He keep you focused, patient, and hopeful as you build your life on Christ, who alone is our salvation, and may all you do be for His glory. Amen.
