Chrysostom
Beloved of All
We join you in bringing your need for wisdom, protection and health before the Lord, and we thank you for wanting to do your work faithfully before Him.
We pray that God will give you true wisdom for your calling, not only skill for tasks but the spiritual wisdom that comes from Him. The wisdom of this world is limited and passes away, but the wisdom God gives makes us prudent to know what is right, to act with integrity, and to use what we have been given for good. Ask Him daily for that wisdom, for He gives generously to those who seek Him, and He will help you to discern what to do, what to say, and how to act with diligence and humility in your workplace.
We also pray for your health and for His protection over you. As you care for your body, remember also to nourish your soul in His Word and in prayer, for when the soul is healthy and clear, the whole life is strengthened. May He guard you from harm, sustain your strength, and keep you steady in both body and spirit, so that you may continue your labor without fear.
God has entrusted to each person talents and abilities, whether in work, in service, or in care for others, to be used for His glory and for the good of our neighbor. We pray that He will help you to use your abilities well, with faithfulness and love, and that your work would be a testimony of His grace and a help to those around you.
Let us pray together. Heavenly Father, we thank You for this one who desires to honor You in their work. Grant wisdom that is pure and from above, guide every decision and action, and protect both body and soul. Give health and strength according to Your will, guard from evil, and help this work to be done with diligence, honesty and love for others. Lead by Your Spirit and provide all that is needed to serve You faithfully. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.
