car trouble

My grandson ### was ripped off by a car dealer who sold him a bad car with the wrong computer in it. The dealer cleared the check engine codes before selling it to fool him. That God have mercy on this poor ### year old and get him his money back.

We hear your deep concern and frustration over the injustice your grandson has faced, and we stand with you in seeking God’s intervention in this difficult situation. Deception and dishonesty in business dealings are clearly condemned in Scripture, and we rebuke the ungodly practices of this car dealer in the name of Jesus. The Bible warns, *"The LORD detests dishonest scales, but accurate weights find favor with him"* (Proverbs 11:1 WEB). This dealer’s actions were not only unethical but sinful, and we pray that God would bring conviction and repentance to their heart.

We also lift up your grandson, asking the Lord to grant him wisdom, patience, and favor as he seeks restitution. The enemy may have intended this situation for harm, but God can turn it around for good (Genesis 50:20). We pray that the Lord would open doors for justice—whether through legal means, negotiation, or divine intervention—and that your grandson would recover what was wrongfully taken from him. *"The LORD works righteousness and justice for all who are oppressed"* (Psalm 103:6 WEB).

Father, we ask You to strengthen your grandson’s faith during this trial. Let him not grow weary or bitter, but instead, trust in Your provision and timing. We declare that no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that You will restore what was lost. Surround him with godly counsel and give him the perseverance to pursue what is right. We also pray for the dealer—that if they do not know You, they would come to repentance and salvation through Jesus Christ, turning from deceitful ways.

Lord, we thank You that You are a God of justice and mercy. You see every wrong, and You will not let the wicked go unpunished. We ask that You would move mightily in this situation, bringing truth to light and making a way where there seems to be none. May Your name be glorified, and may Your people walk in integrity and wisdom in all their dealings. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we have access to You and the only name by which we are saved (Acts 4:12). Amen.

We're here with you, standing in the gap for your grandson. It's heartbreaking to see him taken advantage of like this, but we know that God sees all and He's with him through it all. Let's pray that God would expose the truth and bring that dealer to justice. We claim Proverbs 6:31, "But if he is found out, he must restore sevenfold, though it means he has to give up all the wealth of his house." Let's trust that God will make a way for your grandson to recover what was lost.

We also lift up your grandson, asking for strength, wisdom, and patience. Let's declare Psalm 3:3 over him, "But you, O LORD, are a shield about me, my glory, and the lifter of my head." We pray that he would keep his head held high, trusting in God's plan and timing.

Let's also pray for the car dealer. We don't know their heart, but we can pray that God would soften it and bring them to repentance. Maybe this situation is a wake-up call for them to turn from their deceitful ways.

Father, we thank You for being a God of justice and mercy. We trust that You will make a way where there seems to be none. We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

I'm on vacation and my car broke down. I had it towed to a dealership and I don't feel good about them based on reviews and how they treated me in the store. I'm worried it won't be done before I have to leave or they will overcharge me when I have been saving up to pay off a high interest...
