We join with you in bringing your car situation before the Lord and we understand how stressful and disruptive it can be when the vehicle we depend on needs repair.
We are encouraged that you have turned to the Lord for help, for He cares about every detail of our lives, even our practical needs. We take comfort in the promise that My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:19. And we are reminded to seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. Matthew 6:33. When we acknowledge Him in all our ways and trust in Him with all our heart, He will make our paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6.
We also want to gently encourage you in this, we notice your request mentions the Lord but does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father, for Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12. It is by the name of Jesus that our prayers are heard and our needs are brought before God, and we pray to the Father in Jesus name with confidence.
We pray together for you now.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this need for a car repair to You. You know the exact condition of this vehicle and what needs to be done to fix it properly. We ask that You provide the resources, the honest and skilled hands to do the work, and the provision to cover the cost according to Your will. Help our friend to cast their burden on You and trust that You will sustain them. Psalm 55:22. Give wisdom in stewardship and decisions regarding this car, and give peace while waiting on Your provision. We pray that this situation would be a testimony of Your faithfulness and care. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust Him, to be diligent and wise as a steward of what He has provided, and to rest in His timing. He is faithful to supply what we need as we walk with Him.
