We join with you in prayer for this practical and pressing need and we bring your car repair and the tow truck service before the Lord, for He cares about every detail of our lives, even the things that feel small or stressful. We know the worry that comes when we must trust others with our property and our resources, and we are reminded in Philippians 4:6 to in nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. We also take comfort in Psalm 121:2 where we are reminded that our help comes from Yahweh, who made heaven and earth, and in Proverbs 11:1 that a false balance is an abomination to Yahweh, but accurate weights are his delight.
We pray together now, Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we lift up this need for a car repair this morning. We ask that You would guide the hands of those who work on the vehicle, that You would give them wisdom and skill to diagnose and fix the problem quickly and correctly. We ask for Your protection against any dishonest or deceptive practices, and we pray that the tow truck company and the repair shop would act with honesty, fairness, and integrity. Let the charges be just and the work be done well and promptly, and provide peace and favor in every interaction. We ask that You would supply all that is needed according to Your riches in glory, as You have promised in Philippians 4:19, and that You would turn this situation for good as You work all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28. We pray for calmness and trust while waiting, remembering Isaiah 41:10, Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness.
We also want to gently encourage you, as we noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus. We want to share how precious it is that we have access to the Father only through Jesus, for Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told there is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. It is by calling on the name of Jesus that we are saved and that our prayers are heard, and we want to make sure you know the hope we have in Him, that if we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in our heart that God raised Him from the dead, we will be saved. We pray this prayer in His wonderful name and we trust Him with your need.
We encourage you to commit your way to the Lord as Psalm 37:5 says, Commit your way to Yahweh. Trust also in him, and he will do this, and to ask for a clear written estimate and to keep a record of what is agreed upon, trusting that God will give you discernment and favor. May the Lord grant you peace today, a quick and fair resolution, and the assurance that He is watching over you in every practical matter.
