Car inspection is tomorrow morning

We lift you up before the Father in this time of need, trusting that He cares about every detail of your life—even the condition of your car and the outcome of this inspection. The Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You’ve done your part by preparing and seeking help from your mechanic, and now we commit the results into God’s hands, knowing He is sovereign over all things, great and small.
We also take this moment to encourage you in your relationship with your mechanic. While it’s wonderful to have someone reliable and trustworthy in your life, we gently remind you that our ultimate dependence must always be on the Lord. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* Even the most skilled mechanic cannot guarantee outcomes—only God can. Let this be a reminder to place your faith in Him above all else, giving thanks for the people He places in your life to assist you, but never elevating them above the One who provides all things.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our brother/sister and their need for a successful car inspection. Lord, You know the condition of this vehicle, the work that has been done, and the concerns that linger in their heart. We ask that You, in Your mercy, would allow this car to pass inspection tomorrow morning without issue. Remove any anxiety and replace it with Your peace, knowing that You hold all things together by the power of Your might.
If there are any unseen problems, Lord, we pray You would miraculously intervene—whether by the inspector’s oversight or by Your direct hand—so that no obstacle would stand in the way. We ask this not out of greed or convenience, but so that our brother/sister may continue to provide for themselves and others, glorifying You in their daily life.
We also thank You for the mechanic You’ve provided, a person of skill and integrity. Bless them, Lord, for their hard work and kindness. May this situation be a testimony of Your faithfulness, not just in the passing of an inspection, but in the hearts of all who witness it.
Most of all, Father, we pray that through this circumstance, our brother/sister would grow deeper in their trust in You. Remind them that You are their Provider, Protector, and Peace. May they seek You first in all things, giving You the glory for every victory, big or small.
We ask all this in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, the name above all names by which we have access to Your throne. Amen.
