We join you in thanking God for His protection over you today in the rain by the highway, for His hand kept you from harm and we praise Him that there was no damage and no injury. We stand with you in asking God to bring the truth to light concerning this confusing incident.
We understand how unsettling this must have been, to be waiting to loop under the highway and to feel that gentle tap when your foot was not even on the gas, and then to be accused of causing a dent that could not have come from your car. It is right to desire truth and justice, for God Himself loves truth. Proverbs 12:22 says Lying lips are an abomination to Yahweh, but those who deal truly are his delight. And Psalm 37:6 says He will make your righteousness shine out as the light, and your justice as the noon day sun. We pray that the Lord will go before you and make the truth clear to the police, to the insurance, and to your company, and that any attempt at deception or false claim, including any medical claim, would be exposed and not prosper. We encourage you to walk in complete honesty and peace, to keep any photos, notes, and the police report, to cooperate fully with the authorities and your insurance, and to trust God to be your defender rather than trying to defend yourself in anxiety. Psalm 121:7-8 reminds us Yahweh will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. Yahweh will keep your going out and your coming in, from this time forward, and forever more.
We also hear your burden about your job, the delay that caused scrutiny after 3:30, the conflict with your manager who has been crushing and not appreciating you, the change in culture, the feeling of not being paid your worth or treated with respect, and your deep need for a new job soon while also needing to be effective this week and make appointments for each day. We lift all of this to the Lord with you.
We pray for reconciliation and peace with your manager. We ask God to soften hearts on both sides, to give you grace and wisdom in your words, and to allow your manager to see your value and your diligent work. Ephesians 4:15 calls us to speak truth in love, and Colossians 3:23-24 says Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the reward of the inheritance; for you serve the Lord Christ. Even in a difficult culture, we can trust that God sees your labor and will reward your faithfulness. At the same time we pray for open doors for a new position where your gifts will be valued and you will be treated with respect, and we trust Romans 8:28 that We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
You said Satan is attacking, and we agree that we feel that spiritual pressure. Ephesians 6:12 reminds us For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. So we take our stand in Christ, submitting to God and resisting the enemy, and we cast our cares on Him. 1 Peter 5:7 says Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Philippians 4:6-7 says In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
We thank you for praying in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him we have access to the Father and peace with God. John 14:6 says Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.
We pray together now. Father, we thank You for protecting our dear one today on that wet highway and for keeping all involved safe. Lord, You know the truth of what happened at that service road, You saw the car roll back, You know about the dent that was already there and the reluctance to share information. We ask You to go before this situation and reveal the truth, to protect from any false accusation or scam or unjust medical claim, and to give favor with the police, the insurance, and the employer. Give peace and clear documentation, and let justice be done. Father, we lift up the workplace conflict, we ask You to reconcile this relationship with the manager, to remove crushing pressure and replace it with understanding and appreciation, to help our loved one work effectively and make appointments each day this week, and to provide soon a new job that honors You and provides with dignity and respect. Guard this heart from anxiety and from the attacks of the enemy, clothe us in Your armor, and fill us with Your peace that passes all understanding. We ask all this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
