Beloved of All
Jesus please help. Car is still not fixed, and all we keep doing is wasting more and more money on it and we don't even know exactly what is wrong, we don't trust anyone claiming they can fix it, and the prices they are quoting are outrageously expensive, and we don't have any money for it even if we can find someone to fix it. Not only that, my husband is saying he might not have enough hours at work now to be able to pay the rent, which just went up again, in addition to higher electric bills and food prices. Making things even worse is my son's horrible behavior and staying up too late, and school starts soon, and we are not fully ready for it. I need the strength to get everything organized, and I am in poor health and having many health challenges. Please Jesus, I pray all these things in your name. Thank you, Amen.

We come before the Lord with you in this time of overwhelming burden, lifting up your heartache, struggles, and needs to the One who sees all and holds all things in His hands. You have called upon the name of Jesus, and that is where your hope lies—for He is the God who provides, heals, and sustains even in the most impossible circumstances. Let us first remind you of His promises so that your faith may be strengthened as we pray.

The financial strain you are under is heavy, and the uncertainty of your car, your husband’s work hours, and the rising costs of living can feel crushing. Yet Scripture reminds us in Philippians 4:19, *"My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus."* This is not a vague promise—it is a declaration of God’s faithfulness to those who trust in Him. The car may seem beyond repair, and the bills may pile up, but God is not limited by what we see. He can provide wisdom to discern honest mechanics, open doors for additional income, or even miraculously restore what is broken. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, *"Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."* This is your call right now—to trust Him even when the path is unclear.

We also hear the weight of your husband’s words and the fear they bring. Financial stress can strain a marriage, but let this be a time where you both turn to the Lord together rather than allowing frustration or blame to take root. Ecclesiastes 4:12 says, *"If a man prevails against one who is alone, two shall withstand him; and a threefold cord is not quickly broken."* Your marriage is that threefold cord—you, your husband, and Christ at the center. Pray together, seek God’s wisdom together, and stand united. If your husband is feeling discouraged, remind him of 1 Thessalonians 4:11-12, which encourages us to *"make it your ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind your own business, and to work with your hands, even as we instructed you, that you may walk properly toward those who are outside, and may have need of nothing."* God can provide the hours, the favor with employers, or even unexpected opportunities—but it starts with trusting Him rather than succumbing to fear.

Your son’s behavior is another deep concern, and we understand how exhausting it is to parent when your own strength is waning. Discipline and training are biblical mandates (Proverbs 22:6, Ephesians 6:4), but they must be done in love and consistency. The late nights and disobedience cannot continue, especially as school approaches. This is a time to set clear boundaries, enforce consequences, and most importantly, cover him in prayer. Ask God to soften his heart and give you the wisdom to guide him. Remember, you are not just managing behavior—you are shepherding a soul. Pray that your son would come to know Christ if he hasn’t already, for that is the greatest foundation you can give him.

Your health struggles are not overlooked by God. He knows the pain, the fatigue, and the frustration of a body that doesn’t cooperate. But take heart in 2 Corinthians 12:9, where the Lord tells Paul, *"My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness."* Your weakness is an opportunity for God’s strength to be displayed. We pray for healing, but even in the waiting, we ask that you would feel His sustaining grace. Rest when you can, seek medical wisdom, and lean on the body of Christ for support. You are not meant to carry this alone.

Lastly, the landlord and rising costs are real pressures, but do not let fear dictate your responses. Matthew 6:31-33 says, *"Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Your focus must remain on seeking Him first, even as you steward what you have wisely.

Now, let us pray over you:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious sister to You, knowing that You are her Provider, Healer, and Strength. Lord, the burdens she carries are heavy—the broken car, the financial strain, the fear of not making rent, the disobedience of her son, and the toll on her health. But You, O God, are greater than all these things. We ask for Your divine intervention in each area.

For the car, Lord, bring clarity. Expose any dishonesty in those who would take advantage, and provide a trustworthy solution—whether through repair, replacement, or an unexpected provision. You own the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and this need is not too small for Your attention.

For her husband, Father, we pray for peace in his heart and favor in his work. Open doors for more hours, a better position, or creative ways to meet their needs. Guard their marriage from strife, and let them stand united in faith, not divided by fear. Remind them that their worth is not in their bank account but in Christ alone.

For her son, Lord, we rebuke the spirit of rebellion and ask that You would turn his heart toward obedience and respect. Give this mother the strength and wisdom to parent him well, and let her see fruit from her labor. Prepare him for the school year ahead, and let Your hand be upon his life.

For her health, Jesus, we ask for healing. Touch her body where it is weak, restore her energy, and grant her the stamina to organize and prepare for the days ahead. Let her feel Your presence in the midst of her pain.

For the landlord and rising costs, Lord, we ask for Your provision. Provide the funds needed, or move in the landlord’s heart to show mercy. Let no weapon formed against this family prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let Your peace guard their hearts.

Father, we thank You that You are not distant in this struggle—You are near. You are the God who parts seas, multiplies loaves, and calms storms. Do what only You can do in this situation. Let Your name be glorified as You meet their needs in ways they cannot imagine.

In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray, Amen.

Stand firm, sister. The battle is real, but the victory is already won in Christ. Keep praying, keep trusting, and watch for His hand to move. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, you *will* reap if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We are standing with you in faith.

We're right here with you, sister. We know it feels overwhelming, but remember, God is in the details. He sees your car, your husband's hours, your son's behavior, your health, and every bill piling up. He's not surprised by any of it, and He's big enough to handle it all.

We're praying for wisdom to know the right mechanic, for favor with your husband's employer, for your son's heart to soften, and for healing in your body. We're asking God to provide, to guide, and to give you peace in the midst of it all.

Keep trusting, keep praying, and watch for God's hand to move. He's got this, and He's got you. You're not alone in this. We're standing with you, believing with you, and praying with you. Keep fighting the good fight, and remember, God's got this.
