Disciple of Prayer
I was in a car accident with no drivers license. I wasn't at fault but I'm scared of what is going to happen to me. I'm not into drugs or alcohol but bad stuff happens to me and I'm constantly afraid to where I feel like I want to end my life. I have no friends to talk to or family that would understand. I don't belong to a church because I've gotten abandoned by people from church. I question whether I'm saved because all this bad stuff happens and I rebelled against God to where He is punishing me.

We hear the deep pain and fear in your heart, and we want you to know that God has not abandoned you—even in this moment of despair. The accident, the fear of consequences, and the loneliness you feel are heavy burdens, but the Lord sees you and cares for you more than you can imagine. Let us first address your heart before God, for He alone is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1).

You mentioned questioning your salvation and feeling as though God is punishing you. The truth is, salvation is not based on our circumstances or our feelings, but on the finished work of Jesus Christ. If you have repented of your sins and placed your faith in Him, you are saved—not because of your righteousness, but because of His grace. The Bible tells us, *"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast"* (Ephesians 2:8-9). If you have never truly surrendered your life to Christ, now is the time to do so. Confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you *will* be saved (Romans 10:9). There is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). The struggles you face are not punishment from God but opportunities for Him to draw you closer to Himself, to refine you, and to show Himself mighty on your behalf.

As for the accident and the fear of what may happen, we urge you to trust God with the outcome. He is sovereign over all things, including the authorities and the consequences you may face. *"Don’t be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness"* (Isaiah 41:10). Even if you must face legal repercussions for driving without a license, God can use this situation for your good (Romans 8:28). He may be redirecting your path, teaching you dependence on Him, or preparing you for something greater. Repent for driving without a license, ask God for His mercy and wisdom, and trust that He will guide you through this.

Your feelings of isolation and abandonment are real, but they are not the truth of who God is. The body of Christ *is* meant to be a family, and it grieves us to hear that you have been hurt by those who should have shown you love. We encourage you to seek out a biblical, Christ-centered church where the Word of God is preached without compromise. Do not let the failures of people keep you from the fellowship and encouragement God intends for you. *"Let’s consider how to provoke one another to love and good works, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching"* (Hebrews 10:24-25). Even if you start by simply listening to sermons online or attending a service quietly, ask God to lead you to a place where you can grow and be supported.

The thoughts of ending your life are a lie from the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But Jesus came to give you life—abundant life! Your life has purpose, and God has a plan for you, even in this darkness. *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future"* (Jeremiah 29:11). Suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem, and it breaks the heart of God, who loves you deeply. Instead, cry out to Him. *"The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit. A broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise"* (Psalm 51:17). He is near to the brokenhearted (Psalm 34:18), and He will lift you up if you turn to Him.

Lastly, we must address the fact that you did not invoke the name of Jesus in your request. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach God or be saved. *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* (Acts 4:12). Jesus is the only way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). If you have not already, surrender your life to Him today. Confess your sins, turn away from them, and ask Him to be your Lord and Savior. He will forgive you, cleanse you, and walk with you through every storm.

Let us pray for you now:

Heavenly Father, we lift up this precious soul to You, knowing that You see their pain, their fear, and their loneliness. Lord, we ask that You wrap them in Your peace, which surpasses all understanding. Comfort them with the knowledge that they are not alone—that You are with them, even in this valley. Father, we pray for their salvation if they do not know You. Open their heart to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and fill them with the Holy Spirit, who will be their Comforter and Guide.

Lord, we ask for Your mercy in the situation with the accident. Give them wisdom as they navigate the consequences, and provide for their needs—whether it be legal help, financial provision, or simply Your supernatural peace. Help them to trust You in all things, knowing that You work all things together for the good of those who love You.

Father, we rebuke the spirit of fear and despair that has taken hold of their heart. Break the lies of the enemy that tell them they are worthless, abandoned, or beyond hope. Replace those lies with Your truth—that they are fearfully and wonderfully made, that You have a plan for their life, and that nothing can separate them from Your love (Romans 8:38-39).

Lord, we pray that You would lead them to a biblical church where they can find true fellowship and support. Heal the wounds caused by those who have hurt them, and help them to forgive as You have forgiven them. Surround them with godly people who will encourage them, pray with them, and point them to You.

Most of all, Father, we pray that You would restore their hope. Remind them that You are the God who parts seas, who raises the dead, and who turns mourning into dancing. Let them feel Your presence in a tangible way, and give them the strength to keep going—one day at a time.

In the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, dear friend. We've been where you are, feeling lost, scared, and alone. But remember, God is always with you, even in the darkest valleys. He sees your pain, your fear, and your loneliness. He's not punishing you; He's using these trials to draw you closer to Him.

You mentioned not having a driver's license. While it's important to face the consequences of your actions, remember that God is sovereign. Trust Him with the outcome. He can use this situation to redirect your path, teach you dependence on Him, or prepare you for something greater. Repent, ask for His mercy, and trust that He will guide you through this.

You feel abandoned, but God's love for you is constant. He's waiting with open arms. Seek a biblical church where you can find true fellowship and support. Don't let past hurts keep you from God's intended fellowship.

The thought of ending your life is a lie from the enemy. Jesus came to give you abundant life. Your life has purpose, and God has a plan for you, even in this darkness. Cry out to Him. He's near to the brokenhearted and will lift you up.

Lastly, we didn't hear Jesus' name invoked in your request. There's no other name under heaven by which we can be saved. Surrender your life to Him today. He'll forgive, cleanse, and walk with you through every storm.

Now, let's pray:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift this precious soul to You. Comfort them with Your peace, and remind them they're not alone. If they don't know You, open their heart to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Give them wisdom in the accident situation, and provide for their needs. Break the lies of fear and despair, and replace them with Your truth. Lead them to a biblical church, heal their wounds, and restore their hope. In Jesus' mighty and saving name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!
