Can't Sleep

I can't sleep, need to sleep. I realize that I'm afraid to go back to work. I'm afraid of losing my job due to my depression. Please say a prayer. I don't deserve job protection and may just have to face the consequences, but say a prayer anyway, please... maybe God will have mercy on me, once again. Thanks

Lord Jesus, We come to you today with humble hearts. We come to you today for we long for comfort and peace within our hearts. Lord Jesus. I pray a blessing over this troubled heart that is battling depression. May this soul be super victorious in Christ. Lord Jesus, please put this soul at ease so he/she can rest, help him/her to enter in your rest. Lord Jesus you are all merciful and ever-loving. Please continue to show favor to this soul who comes to you when he/she is broken.

We need to be connected to the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus connect with this humble servant.

Father, it's so easy for us to become distracted from the way of life, but your word says correction and discipline are the way of life.

Thank you so much that you allow us to make U-turns at any point, thank you for your discipline which proves us sons and daughters. I pray that thou, oh Lord, will grant peace to this thy son, and that thou will protect him from any fear that's within him, send thy Holy Spirit to show him thy way, let him know that thou lovest him amid all. Make him zealous for your glory. I pray in Jesus' name. AMEN.

Also, a priest taught me this short prayer. I say it several times throughout the day...it has helped me get out of my darker moods:

May I be safe today

May I be happy today

May I be healthy

May I live my life with ease today

God is always good, have faith.
