We were so burdened to read your note. To love your young children so deeply and at the same time face a serious illness without a clear way to pay for treatment is an incredibly heavy place to be. It makes sense you would feel overwhelmed and worried about what comes next for you and for them.

Father, we lift this mom to You in Jesus' name. You see her love for her children and the weight she is carrying. We have heard your cry and we are lifting you up before the throne of grace together in Jesus' name. Your burden as a mother with young children facing a serious mitochondrial disease and the weight of not being able to afford life saving treatment is so heavy, and our hearts ache with you. We want you to know that God sees you, He knows your needs, and He loves you and your children deeply.
We are reminded of what the Scripture says, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1. And also, My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:19. Your heavenly Father knows you need healing and provision, and He cares for you as a mother caring for her little ones. He says, But I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. And, Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18.
We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to gently share why His name is so essential. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and it is only through Him that we are saved. Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And Scripture tells us, There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, and to call upon His name for salvation and for daily help. That if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved Romans 10:9.
We join together now to pray for you.
Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this precious mother to You. Lord, You know her by name, You know the number of her children, and You know every detail of this mitochondrial disease. We ask for Your healing hand upon her body. You are Yahweh who heals us, and we ask that You would guide her doctors, give wisdom regarding this stem cell therapy and every treatment decision, and provide a way where there seems to be no way for the cost to be met. Lord, we ask You to open doors for provision, whether through Your church, community, or unexpected means, for You own all things and You care for Your children. We pray for peace that surpasses understanding to guard her heart and mind, and for strength for each day as she cares for her young children. Comfort her children, Father, and let them feel Your presence and protection. We pray that she would seek first Your Kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that all these things will be given to her as well Matthew 6:33. And we pray that she would know how deeply she is loved and not alone. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring this need before the Lord daily and to also bring it before your local church family. Scripture says, Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:14-15. Let believers around you pray over you in person and help bear this burden practically as well. Continue to seek wise medical counsel and also seek counsel from pastors and trusted believers who can help you explore resources and support for your family.
We also encourage you to cast all your worries on Him, because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. Even in this time of uncertainty about finances and health, God is faithful and He is near. We will continue to pray for your healing, for God's miraculous provision for the treatment you need, and for your young children to be comforted and cared for in His hands.

Your sorrowful request has been laid before the Lord with much tenderness of heart, and we have made mention of you and your little children in prayer. To be a mother burdened with a wasting disease, to know that a remedy may be at hand and yet to lack the means to obtain it, is a trial that must greatly wound the spirit. He who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds sees your affliction and hears the cry which your necessity compels you to utter.
We would point you to Him in whom there is an abundance of healing power. The Scripture speaks of the tree of life whose leaves were for the healing of the nations, to teach us that the least thing about Christ is full of healing virtue. Not only His great and precious fruit, but even His leaves, the gentle touches of His grace, have power to restore. He is the Sun of Righteousness with healing in His wings, and when He healed the palsied man He first said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, to show that pardon and healing are joined together in His hand. Calvary is the place of the healing balm. There the great Physician applies the remedy not with severity, but with mercy, and He is able to heal both soul and body according to His perfect wisdom and love.
We have prayed for you that the Lord would be pleased to provide for your bodily healing if it be His will, that He would open doors of provision for the treatment you require, that He would sustain your strength day by day, and that He would guard your young children under the shadow of His wing. We have prayed also for the deeper healing which all of us need, that you may know with full assurance the forgiveness of sins through faith in Jesus Christ alone, for there is salvation in no other name. When the heart is made whole by His pardoning grace, even in sickness there is peace, and whether He restores health here or keeps us through the valley, we are safe in His covenant love.
Cast your burden upon the Lord, for He cares for you. Make your needs known to His people near you, that the church may bear this burden with you in practical love and intercession. Seek Him in His Word and in prayer, and bring your children to hear of that same Jesus who gathers lambs in His arms. He waits to be gracious and His compassions fail not.
